opeyemmmy: You can go to Stanbic.
You need to have an account with them or you pay through a relative who does.
The charges include a flat fee of N4k, $25 (if you want your beneficiary to receive the exact funds), 0.5% commission on the amount you want to transfer and VAT (5%) on the 0.5% commission. The rate like I mentioned earlier is N199.5.
Please note that all documents detailing your obligation to the beneficiary must be in place. For further enquiries, you can visit their Idejo branch on the Island. Now i am paying for an international exam which the only mode of payment is using your credit card directly on the website. There is no bank account.you input your account details and the amount for the exam is debited from your account.A friend went to the bank today and they were asking of account number.Do you have any idea how this can be handled. |

Ikemsinachi: Two children Musa and Abubakar were born in a village in Kano state. The same week within two years of birth, Abubakar had several antipolio virus vaccination but Musa's parents were afraid because of superstitious believe and did not present Musa for immunization. Before their third birthday, polio epidermic occurred in the village affecting all the children. Musa became paralysed while Abubakar was not. Discuss the principle in Musa's paralysis and sparing of Abubakar from paralysis.
Cc: ebsuguy, ikevin, Jargo89.
It is an assignment given to us. Thanks. I'm waiting in anticipation! The question is asking you to discuss the pathogenesis of polio viral infection and also the mechanism of formation of a specific immunity against a specific pathogen secondary to infection. 1.Musa was infected with the polio virus through the oral pharynx or respiratory tract. After viral replication in the oropharynx and small intestine(esp.within the lymphoid tissue),the virus spreads through the blood stream to the CNS.this it can also do by retrograde movement along the nerve axons. In the CNS,the virus preferentially replicate in the motor neuron located in the anterior horn of the spinal cord. This leads to the death of this cells which inturn leads to the paralysis of musa' muscles innervated by these neurons. 2.Abubakar was not paralysed because he received the salk(killed) or the sabin(life attenuated) vaccine which induced humoral antibodies production against the polio virus.During the epidemic, these antibodies neutralized the virus that entered the blood.hence, preventing them from causing CNS infection and disease. |

Thewhizzkid1: Ok. Thanks a lot. I also have other questions. Where do those autonomic nerves terminate at? Do the sacral preganglionic nerve fibres of the sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the ANS have a common origin from the spinal cord? ikevin is right as to their termination-the viscera i.e the organs. The sympathetic NS has a thoracolumbar spinalcord origin while the Parasympathetic NS originate from nuclei in the brain and Sacral region of the cord.Hence, they do not have a common origin. Rather what ikevin said about the nerve bundle is correct. Both the sympathetic fibers and the parasympathetic fibers run in the same nerve to supply the organs. |

Education › Re: Be Cautious Of Student Pastors! (life Story) by ebsuguy(m): 12:27am On Jan 01, 2016 |
Mightyify: My faculty girl has been pestering me to visit their church even if it could be just once in my whole life. I wanted to give an excuse but, i ended up saying yes, because I don't usually have an attitude of declining a pretty girl's request.....Winks.
Sunday morning, my sleep was cut short with her frequent calls, so i got up, dressed and headed to the church. Oh boy! the whole atmosphere was agog with shouts of joy and the church was deliciously beautified.
Not that long I arrived, a sharply dressed young man came over to the pulpit, and the congregation could not stop shouting until he told them it was enough. Owing to that thunderous applauses and shouts I knew he must be the Chief pastor.
When the congregation stopped shouting he said, "How many people want an 'A' this semester, can you give the Lord a big shout?". Almost all the students shouted on top of their voices. Some students started visiting the offering boxes to drop some bucks. You no how e dey be nah....
"if you believe the man of God Come and seal your 'A' with a seed" he said. Students flooded the offering boxes with monies, "those of you sitting down, do you not want an A?" he chided. few people who were sitting down got up and went straight to the offering box. After that, he introduced his message title.
Before i continue let me brief you about this student pastor(the church founder). He was once a student of our school or rather he is still a student. He has spent over 10 years in the school environment, anybody who graduated from EBSU in the past decade will definitely know him or at least have heard about him. He drives cars that lecturers can only dream of. He specialises in defrauding students of the hard earned money of their parents in exchange of fake academic excellence. Hmm... I no call anybody name oh!
Students are made to pay tithes, sow seeds, (phones and laptops inclusive),fund projects, pay first fruits, and huge offerings in exchange of academic excellence. He has chains of students pastor under him, who also have the mandate of brainwashing students that good grades and success in life depend largely on how much you give to his ministry...which is completely untrue.
It is very shameful that such deception should take place even in the university community, people regarded as intellectuals should allow themselves to be deceived by just a fellow student.
How sensible is it for a student who is not working, whose parents are struggling to train in school, would be paying tithes, be giving pastor huge sum of money just to pass his exams or to succeed in life? Does God exchange good grades with money? It still beat my imagination that some students think that writing exam with an 'Anointed pen' would help them pass exam without adequate studying.
The worst part of it all is that these crooks rarely engage in any community development programmes...e.g sinking a borehole for students. Most of their members drop out of school because of inability to pay school fees yet they keep criminal silence. Their biggest dream isn't to help their members in any way, but to open up more church branches and maintain flamboyant lifestyle.
©Ifeanyi2015 I concur perfectly.Back then in my pre-degree days in CAS campus,EBSU,a girl in my hostel went to this same church(i no wan call name ooo) and after the year' UTME,her result was withheld and this student pastor requested that she should sow a seed by closing her bank account and sending it' content to the church. That was how she gave them 44000.After everything, the result was not released and she was not admitted that year.she later got admitted the following year and now she have a strong hatred for that church. Fellow nairalanders, like they say,a word is enough for the wise. |
