Apart from the issue of God-fatherism and corruption, the son, brother, sister, father and mother of a President, Governor, Speaker and any other political office holder has the constitutional right to contest any election he/she is qualified to contest.

Nigerians always wail whenever a relative of a political office holder is contesting for a political office, but we praise countries like the United States of America for democracy.

How about the Clintons? Bill Clinton was a senator and later became a President while the wife was a senator and later the wife became the 3rd highest executive office holder in the US - secretary of state's and she almost became the president of America.
