From a FA point of view. The market needs a catalyst, Fuel Subsidy/Devaluation has played its part. There is no solid policy direction yet. The court case needs to finish and Ministers/appointed profile seen before the next leg and FPI.

Same reason I buy Cutix. One of the only companies based in the SE listed on the NGX. One of my uncles Matthias Umego is a director in the company.

I sold because my regular cab man started telling me how to buy stocks because he an APC fan heard there was ‘Tinubull’ in the market. Like Joseph Kennedy said, when the shoe shine guy starts giving stock picks. It’s overheated.

Btw, some of the stocks stabilized and some are reversing yesterday's shedding......with bids higher than offers in quite some, including some of the banking stocks.
The volumes are still noticeably there...

Tinubu should announce his ministers this month, another thing in my opinion that can send the market further up is if they’re competent ministers with good track record especially finance, Works, trade, power.

Transcorp bought over and is using AEDC as a pilot phase. You might want to go long on them with a good entry(though am not sure if below 3 is still achievable this year).

Transcorp keeps improving every quarter, circa 100 is not impossible for a Utility stock.

Those stocks have raced away, with Eterna selling for as high as N21 this morning.
I think we could start seeing the effect of the pump price increase in their books from their Q2 and Q3 reports.

In the same vein, I am beginning to think that power sector stocks will benefit a lot from the electricity tariff increase coming into effect tomorrow 1st July.

Which stocks are positioned to benefit?
My suspicion is Transcorp.
Geregu is already overpriced but the herds may not mind.
