busuyem: Pls, could u show me the workings?. The set of people we are concerned with are the Lunchers => U = 50 D for Dodo R for Rice and B for BeansD & R only = 6 B only = 22 B, R & D = 3 B & R only = 5 B & D only = 7 - 3 = 4 (i.e minus those that ate the Holy Trinity )D only = R only = x 50 = x + 6 + x + 4 + 5 + 22 + 3 x = 5 (1) Those who Rice anyhow = 5 + 6 + 3 + 5 = 19 students (As you must have noticed, this answer is diff from my initial post (2) Dodo People = 5 + 6 + 3 + 4 = 18 students. |
busuyem: Find solution to this while waiting 4 the competition to continue 2mao:. (1) Rice as food = 16 (2) Dodo as food = 18 |

Alpha Maximus: Olarewajub: Someöne should please expand:. Wait... I assume this is not by long expansion we all know? |
Alpha Maximus: ....so x in this case is 0.25? And what is the criterion for deeming a value negligible in this case? Must it be less than one?. When I think about it the way u put just now.. that approximation made a lot of sense to me... But the twist there is that the value of x has to be relatively small, so that its higher power would be negligible... |

This Device Turns Smartphone Alerts Into Smells Your choice of phone alert noise may say something about your personality. But what does it say if you give your notifications specific smells? Scentee, a white, round device that plugs into your phone's earphone jack, releases a small spray of fragrance each time you receive a notification. The next time you get a Facebook Like, you can smell something like strawberry or mint. Other cartridges feature coffee and lavender. The device's LED lights also light up with each notification. . According to the Los Angeles Times, each cartridge yields 100 sprays and refills cost $5. It launches on November 15 for Japan — and a bacon scent may be in the works. The device works with both iOS and Android phones; an app is used to configure when the device releases its scent. Scentee's site features a video that unfolds like a Japanese soap opera. The main female character struggles with romantic pursuits until she shocks one of her dates by whipping out her phone's Scentee. By the end of the video, our heroine seems more happy about life when another possible love interest sends her a text message — and she inhales the smell of it. No word yet on when the gadget might hit the U.S. (or 9ja? ) market. Mashablereached out to CEO Koki Tsubouchi; we'll let you know what we hear back...Source: http://mashable.com/2013/11/07/scentee/ |
