"Nigeria no longer respects the rule of law or President Buhari is woefully out of touch with what agents of his government are doing in his name." "Freedom of the press is a fundamental pillar of democracy and an indispensable check on government overreach." This is embarrasing! How did we get here? The rule of law must be respected, government must obey court orders. This is not a military regime. This is a democracy. We cannot be taken back to the 1980s...the government cannot pick and choose which court orders to obey or not. The people that foisted this government on Nigerians should clap for themselves, is this the change you were preaching when campaigning in 2015? Nigerians deserve better. |
Its sad that with the pressing needs like constant power supply, good roads, properly funded and managed public schools, properly equipped hospitals...high unemployment rate, the list is endless. But its gagging people that interest these so called leaders who rigged themselves into power because you should actually deserve reelection based on your performance in office. I can recall someone saying baboons will soak in blood and so on just because he failed an election. Imagine if we had this social media bill back then, would he even be here today? People are angry that's why they criticise your govt, if you were performing you wouldn't be scared of the criticism. My uncle once told me that criticism is like fertilizer, it smells bad but makes the plants grow. You can't stifle the poor suffering masses with your evil bill. If the kitchen is too hot, then leave it. |
Cyoung4real:Last last Nairaland never fails. You definitely cracked me up with this one ![]() |
If you observe you'll find out that the guys in the green chamber are better than the Dunderheads in the red chamber. These red chamber rubber stamped Senators don't care about the Nigerian hustling in the street. They'll never cut their bloated emoluments. It would have made sense if we can see what the tax is used for. Rubbish. |
Reference:Well you never know. He might be made an offer that would be hard to refuse. Plus he'd want to show Spurs what they are missing. |
chukwuibuipob:Ole is on £7.5m just like Klopp.
|
hustla:That would be a win win scenario if you ask me. Finally a proper coach that plays the modern high press system and a legend handling the transfers. That would let Ed the banker to run the commercial side. Everyone would be happy. Hope Man U is smart enough to do this. |
This bill will be DOA. Quote me if it passes 3rd reading. |
DownChelsea:Exactly. As it looks I don't think Chelsea will make top four this season. I feel for Lamps, the winning streak is over. Watch how they start losing games. |
Ashley86400:To be honest you don't know for a fact that Chelsea will finish above Manchester United. Remind me by May 2020. ![]() |
Ashley86400:Its a marathon not a sprint. Easy does it. One game at a time. I know it hurts take one for the team. ![]() |
Ashley86400:Lol...loser's limp!!! ![]() |

If they come out with a draw, I'd be OK. |
mvem:Calm down bro. I almost got knifed in a bar at Manchester Piccadilly by a scouser because of this game back in 2011. Spare me the history lesson I know the rivalry. But then again considering the two sides form it was safe to say it was Liverpool's game to lose rivalry or no rivalry. You'd have to take form into reckoning because of the disparity in quality between the two sides at the moment. This was the best time for Liverpool to beat Utd. |
victorjoe:The bolded really got me. Dude knows just the plaza in Uyo. Dude's also writing from his experience there. I believe a lot of folks residing in Uyo will disagree with him in virtually everything he's written. Talk of writing bullocks. ![]() |
To be honest Liverpool were lucky to draw that game. Although before the match I thought they'd batter Man Utd but that wasn't the case. Ultimately this result will kick start Man Utd's season. I see them doing better going forward because of the confidence boost they'll get from this game. |
12345baba:Baba you get good head. Ambode is a very smart dude. He got very close to Macron so getting the French citizenship must have been a walk in the park. Wondering what Tinubu is afraid of. |
Leo588:Your head dey there jare! If Gowon is 85 obviously Buhari is 93. And this is the same man sai barbarians will be saying has integrity. Someone that lies about his own age doesn't have an atom of integrity abeg. What else could he be lying about?! |
Wait o. The OP is posting himself abi? Na the way, you got to blow your trumpet by yourself for Naija ![]() |
Thick lips ![]() So this is the arrogant girl. |
Kudos to him for showing that Nigerians are hardworking people. Its obvious he's a very hardworking man and also very ambitious. Twenty eight years of work has culminated into this upgrade. I salute you Sir. It shows hardwork and dedication still pays. |
ola33t:Immediately I started reading this comment I just thought this must be written by ola33t. I wasn't disappointed. I like your writing style. Keep it up. |
