ehinmowo: So you know, those of you praying for a better NIgeria, your children will end up cursing you later. because they would have been 3x more miserable than you by then.
lordaltruist: I have to confess; this city is the most underrated in Nigeria. This is a city you can compare with the likes of Asaba, Eleme and even some parts of Lagos and Abuja and yet nobody is talking about it. Op do justice to this thread by giving us more view of Ik, cause I know the place very well and you are not doing enough justice to it. Guys truth is Ik (Ikot Ekpene) is even competing with the state capital for economic viability and is giving Uyo a very tough competition when it comes to tourism most especially during the festive season due to the fact that things are very cheap and it has more entrepreneurs competing for glory, it makes room for greater development. This city is top notch for flexing, business, accommodation, education and entrepreneurship.
lol, how many businesses dey boom there and what's the purchasing power of the common man there ?
I no say hotel biz go boom there based on say we to like fucc.fucc.
Watch the aerial video footage of ikot Ekpene before you argue.
If you are young an just starting life and looking for a place with good roads, good schools, low crime rate, affordable city and a perfect place to raise kids, Look no further Ikot Ekpene is the place for you. Its 15mins. From Uyo Akwa ibom state capital with well articulated road networks that will mesmerize you. Its 70mins from Victor attah international airport. And very close to Aba and umuahia though the road to aba and umuahia are terrible.
dottozil: Heard their are banks that gives interest on their corporate account either based on monthly turnover or annually
lol, at 1.35% per annum ?
Brother, use that your money go mega chicken, open your button for shirt, order jollof rice and fat chicken...come wash am down with cold Sprite...when you reach house play Timaya 'i can't kill myself'...
For Nigeria now, na survival mode everybody dey until a miracle happens... You get my drift though...
Just use ur money trade, financial institutions na scam.
Hathor5: Two people were having sex on TV but it's somehow only a problem for the vagina. The penis can disgrace his family on national TV and it's ok.
From kindergarten, a boy gives his candy to little girls He becomes a teenager and start buying presents for girls with his launch money He becomes older and start giving his girlfriend, his siblings and his parents When he marries, he gives, first, his wife, then his children, then his parents, then his in-laws, then his extended families. In the end he has little or nothing left for himself.
Yet he doesn't complain.
Madam, receive sense, I beg you. Your husband knows that consistency and resilience pays off in the end. In the meantime, being more buoyant than him, be the source of his Joy and motivation and stop being selfish.
ONLY WOMEN, CHILDREN, AND DOGS ARE LOVED UNCONDITIONALLY. A MAN IS ONLY LOVED UNDER THE CONDITION THAT HE PROVIDE SOMETHING
seguno2: Focus on agriculture when the Fulani herdsmen terrorists will destroy your crops and even kidnap you join? If they can do that to Olu Falae, is anyone safe
tensazangetsu20: Bro Nigeria isn't suitable for creating jobs. What kind of jobs do you want to create with buying and selling, makeup and all the nonsense Nigerian youths are advised to learn.
In Germany, there are companies one has never heard of ever doing millions to billions of euros in revenue. Those companies employ thousands of people. Guy this place don cast.
Omo, I keep telling people these things. What kind of jobs do you want to create ?
We are still a third world country, is it fixing of mobile phones and laptop, selling wigs / makeup on Instagram that will boost the economy ?
The only thing that thrives here is buying and selling / blue collar jobs / agriculture..this will be so in the next 20 years.. as for job, that era don pass. Na to go learn handwork or japa, anyone wey favour you just pray make Baba God favour your double six cause NAIJA IS CASTED !
'According to the NDIC, 98% of Nigerians have less than N500,000 ($1,250) in their accounts. And of course you have to consider the fact that the poorest Nigerians are unbanked'
OP, I won't even lie...Nigeria is really tough at the moment, but if you got guts to weather the storm you can make it BIG due to the population growth.
Your focus should be around agriculture, hunger is still a pandemic in Africa.
Personally, I wouldn't do business here in Nigeria.
sweetmelanin: I get the feeling this OP is a follower of that 'popular' YouTube hypocrite who is sits his broke behind in the UK whilst deceiving his followers by selling them the African dream on how to move back to "the motherland" and "make it big" ...then he would delete, insult or block anyone who comes forward with an objective statement on why things are not so rosy back home.
Look OP, if you watch Phr....... , don't be deceived o.. he's living off the little stipends from YouTube where he deceives gullible diasporians for views. There's a reason he himself is still in the UK and hasn't moved back to enjoy how "fantastic" Nigeria is
