The chart is still your best friend.
The best way to master the chart is to train your eyes to understand how price move on the chart.
Money management is crucial.
Patience and discipline.

A trendline break and retest pattern formed on GBPJPY Daily
Waiting for more downside to 143.71 level where a minor support might act as hindrance
A break of the support might see further downpour of the dragon to 141.30 level.
A potential 500 pips trade

Posted this GBPJPY long term short trade a while ago, it took longer time to develop but finally hits its target...
My next expectations below.(second chart), expecting a bullish reaction at that level back to the broken areas.

I just use this to help me speed up things with my thought process.

Indicators don’t tell me where to buy or sell. I usually know I’m looking for buy or sell in a particular area, before I even start to look at the indicator.

I just use band indicator to time my entry (If and when I want to enter counter-trend trade), so I could get in on area of brick-wall where price will do a very quick bounce or possible reversal.

I'll stay put if I see counter-trend trade in an area that I don't want.


The band settings will depend on ADR of the said currency. AudUsd that is a slow pair will have different settings compare to GbpJpy.

Please can someone be kind enough to list the major news that affect all pairs.
My stop loss was taken out by FOMC news. I traded NZDCAD which has been running since last week. I thought the news will only affect USD pairs

Somebody trading indicator somewhere will be screaming over sold since and gbp refuses to stop selling. And some body somewhere will b saying those indicators can kill it for you.
