I need you guys to clarify something for me please, I'm a newbie and I'm in my last stages of study on babypips, but I read something there that has really discouraged me. They said you can never be profitable with $100 capital, that one needs to start with at least $1000. How true is this please, because $100 is all I can muster for startup. Can't I take very low lot positions like $0.01and make my little profits? Will leverage truly weigh me down? Did anyone here start low and is still surviving?

I know I have to demo trade first, I have been doing that now for over 2 months. So just leave the part where I should learn how to trade first

I have this indicator I use as I trade longer hours with a demo account...
I set my SL and TP without any idea of what I'm doing but I trade according to the indicator predictions.. Can someone tell me if I'm on the right track or not

I see you are happy.... I find that strange because i am never happy. Sometimes I make a loss, sometimes I take profit too early. I make money but am not happy.

I would have taken that trade with you but I was already on GA which is doing about 70pips ATM.
When you look at the strong bearish wick on the weekly, it says there's likely gonna be a massive sell party. Im hoping for some retracement to the area I marked A and I can join the sell party. My possible TP will be as shown on the chart.
I want to really learn to hold my trades for bigger pips, not the usual 80-100pips. When I look at how GU sold in the past weeks, Im pained that I closed my trades very early. It would have been over 1000pips if I'd held that trade.
Anyhow, i think the market is starting to move/trend again.
We hope for more pips.



Aside..
I notice whenever I click quote to reply a message, I get the ban. Any other person experiences such?

Notice the yellow line. It was supposed to act as support but price broke through it and its making a retest. When the retest is complete, I suspect price will head all the way down to Southie.
Also is the red trendline, break out and a retest.
And you can also say price made a head and shoulder.

This is what I feel and thats what informed my trade.

Since what you know in forex is not making money for you, try to follow this lessons with an open mind. Avoid the thought of " i know this already" , " this is too simple, it wont work" , what destroys peoples account more often is not the system but the state of mind of the person behind the system. you have to calm down. You cannot afford to be in a hurry to make money,that is the number one red flag. so here are some things to note
