Bush meat today has no doubt become one of Nigerians most relished delicacy in the meat categories of our meals. I could remember my first visit to a restaurant in Benin, the first in the list of the kinds of meat they presented was bush meat. Though I opted for goat meat cos it was my favourite. Now, a lot of people eat bush meat, but the question here is, what realy is bush meat and which animal is mostly behind bush meat? The real mystry behind bush meat can even be seen mostly on bush meat sellers. Try to ask a bush meat seller the kind of animal behind bush meat that he/she sells, I bet you that most of them will present false information on that. Their easiest escape rout answer is that it is an antelope meat, but you and I know quite alright that it is not always antelopes. The funy thing is that even if it is human parts they are selling to you under the guise of bush meat, some of you will still relish it without knowing. I have witnessed a bush meat seller being arrested for selling vulture as bush meat to their unsuspecting buyers. But I was surprise on the arrest cos I think say for many people, bush meat na bush meat, then why is that one different and even leading to arrest. Monkey, eagle, owl, lion, impaler, grass cutter, squirell, lizard, bush cat, vulture, kangeroo, antelope etc, all nobi bush meat? Oya bush meat eaters, share your bush meat eating experiences. Do you have any idea the kind of animal meat you eat under the guise of bush meat? |
eaglechild: OPpls dn't mislead anybody here cos i hav seen ppl already seconding u here, though i knw it ws nt ur intention 2 do dat. But let me teach u smthin u dnt knw here. English as u nd me knw is dynamic nd always evolving. It has passd d tim dat when u hear a word, u jst pik up ur oxford dictionary read nd jst com out 2 argue or tink u ar right witout furtha research. D word dialect is ambiguous, yes it can mean wht u refered 2 as dialect bt dat is nt wht d dialect i used denote. What i used up dier denote any ethnic group standard language nd not d variety of same groups language as u tot. Let me tel u d origin of dat word dialect nd how it is used. Dialect is a Greek word diskos meaning discourse, nd it has evolved 4rm jst being used in ur context 2 nw being used in varieties of ways, dat is y i said it is ambiguous. U can use it in dat way u refer 2 it ie regional dieclect nd wen used dat way, it refer 2 as regiolect, den u can also use it nw 2 refer 2 any standard ethnic group language, which was d context i used it nd in dis case, it can be referd 2 as ethnolect, nd some oda vireties lik social class nd odas. So dat is jst it, english is neva static bt alwys evolving. If u check benjamin in dat ur oxford dictionary, u wil not see it, bt it has bin incorprated in english dictionary 2 mean money. Again who nd whom, formerly we difrentiate d both very wel bt nw anywher u see or mek use of whom u can equaly replace it wit who at anytim u lik or at al time nd u wont be wrong, bt in d past if u do dat u ar wrond. So dear, jst leav english mata 4 matias. Hop u wil read dis 2 get more enlightend. Shalom |
Many people are complaining that after the expiration of their previous MTN internet data subscription, and that when the subscribe again that their unused data is not being added to their new subscription as stated by MTN. The simple reason why your unused data is not being rolled over to your next subscription is because you are not playing according to MTN rules of data rollover. If you want your unused data to be rolled over into your next subscription, simply make sure that before the expiration of your active data plan, you have recharged your account balance. By so doing when your active data expires, you will automatically be subscribed into another plan and your previous unused data will be added to the new subscription. http://highteknology..com/2014/07/how-to-roll-over-your-mtn-unused.html |

Truly I like languages very well and I thank God that my parents spoke my monther tongue to me while I was growing up, making me fluent in my dialect. In addition to my dialect wich is Igbo, I learnt Hausa and can speak that too. I even need more, so I even learnt French and can speak it moderately. I am just happy that I know how to speak them especially my own dialect. But I know that generations of these days, many don't even know how to speak their dialect at all, as result of being brought up by Turenci (hausa word for English) parents. Parents that only blow grammar to their kids, thereby making them incapable of flowing their dialect. To me I feel that those that cannot speak their dialect are seriously missing in actions. Not even the amebo that most people like doing these day that they can participate on in public discussions. The funniest thing is that some of them that even claimed that knowing how to speak only English has help them get fluent in English, but together with the local dialects that I can speak, I can even still blow the English grammar more than many of them, indicating that knowing your dialect and other ones has nothing to do with knowing or not knowing how to speak English. So for those that falls into the category of not being able to blow your dialect, especially the so called Aje butters, are you having any regrets for that? Cha cha cha cha cha....,.Ndi Igbo kwenu! So una see say I tite for my language? Proudly Igbo come rain come sunshine...even though I knew quite alright that it was not a choice for me to make in determing which ethnic group I want to be born into but by chance. If given the choice or power to choose, I will definitely choose Igbo again and again and again. Nde bany'i ekene mu unu o, ka udo diri unu nine. The toothpaste dispenser is one of the modern home products designed to squeeze out approriate amount of paste from its tube to your toothbrush just at the push of a button. It uses the vacuum technology to achieve that and does not need electricity nor any battery to achieve the dispensing. It most times come along with toothbrushes holder. In my opinion, they belong to categories of technogies that I refer to as lazy man technology, because the moment one begin to see squeezing of toothpaste tube to free some paste as difficult, then laziness has truly set in. Unlike washing machaine, that you and I know that to wash our clothes can sometimes truly be tiresome especially when heavy and thick clothes are involve, but no that of squeezing out some paste from the tube. http://highteknology..in/2014/07/lazy-man-technology-automatic.html |
One thing I will like to say is that it is always difficult to live next to an un-understanding neigbour. I have this friend, he always complain to me that every night he find it difficult to sleep as result of having a next door pastor neighour that always wake him up in the middle of the night as result of the pastor always praying and shouting with loud voice during those period of the night. He told me that the pastor always wake up around 12midnight and will always pray, shout and cabash from that time till 3AM and that whenever he starts it is either he (my friend) will not be able to sleep again or being woke up from his sleep as result of the noise coming out from the pastors room. I have advised him to comfront the pastor neighbour and let him know that it is a public compound and that he should try and tell the pastor to be bringing down his voice whenever he is praying at that hour of the day, that every person living in the compound have at least right to sleep peacefuly at that hour of the day without being disturbed. My friend often used to tell me that he has comfronted his pastor neigbour several times about that, but to no avail and that as if it the noise is getting worse and louder by the day, and that the last time he comfronted him that the pastor told him that he is doing his job as a pastor. My friend is becoming so angry by the day and he is now telling me that he will do something unthinkable to the pastor if the pastor fails to heed to his confrontation next time. Please advise my friend now before it turns into a full blown war between him and his neigbour pastor. |
Sometimes you will feel like removing the password of your windows PC, so that it will no longer have to request for password when you turn before taking you to the desktop. If you want to know how difficult this is, just try searching for the answer online by Googling it, the answer that you will get will even want to make you change your mind from wanting to remove it. But achieving it is as simple as ABC. If you want to remove your windows PC entirely, just go to your control panel and try to change the password, then just leave the fields blank when promted for new password and press the next tab, you will see that your password will be removed entirely. You can then taste it by rebooting your PC, you will see that it will no longer request for password. www.highteknology..in/2014/07/extremely-easy-steps-to-removing.html |
Two guys rap.ed a princess, and when they were caught and sent to the king, he ordered them to go and bring as many fruits as they can to bail themselves. The first guy went and returned with 15 mangoes. The king ordered his guards to insert all the mangoes into his anus so he would feel the same pain as the princess. The guards did as they were ordered and the guy screamed and shouted in pain. After sometime, he stopped screaming and shouting and started laughing. The guards then became surprised and asked him why he was laughing despite all the pains. The guy pointed to the road and said, LOOK AT MYFRIEND, HE IS BRINGING 30 WATERMELONS. |

I don't truly know if this was a myth or reality. When we were much younger we always see women that have some strands of bears on their chin as wicked. There was this primary school teacher back then in my alma mata, she also falls among beared women, in school then we see her as wicked because she flogs the hell out of us whenever we erred in school then as kids. We call her Anty Amaka. So, I really want to know if it is just mere perceptions that people have about beared ladies being wicked or if truly they are |

Don't you ever think that when you assist person or do something for somebody that he/she is incapable of doing himself/herself that you have offered sacrifice. Sacrifice is when you come out from the crowd and do something that every other person can equally do but fail to do it due to certain reason best known to them, whether the reasons were ill conceived or glorious |

I noticed a common trend about many marketers promising so many bonuses with their products but always fail to deliver such bonuses to their client after they must have purchased the main product. Why promise a bonus product that you don't have or cannot give? Sometimes it is even some of the bonuses that the client needs that made him/her buy the marketers product, but end up not geting the bonus in most cases. Such marketers are into what we called glorified scam, and what it does is that it kills the marketers online reputation without them knowing despite delivering the main product. http://highteknology..com/2014/01/simple-but-often-neglected-tips-on-how_7261.html |
Last night marks the first time that the goal line was put to use in the all English quarter final Capital one cup game between Sunderland and Chelsea and also in the second game between Leicester city and Manchester city. The technology was mainly seen in action in Chelsea game when Frank Lampard slid in the first goal that just passed the goal line with an inch. If you observe your screen very well, when the goal was scored at the bottom left corner of your screen, you would have noticed it it, the goal decider that was written immediately the goal was scored and letter it now showed goal. I believe this technology will be better off in reducing human errors by referees. If you notice something, it was this Same lampard that scored a goal one time for his home country that was disallowed because of mistake, and thereafter the goal line technology was initiated, and it is still same Lampard that tested the technology last night in his involvement in the Chelsea first goal, though Chelsea later lost the match by 2 goal to 1 in the hands of bottom league table Sunderland http://highteknology..com/2013/12/goal-line-technology-finally-put-to-use.html |
After the Federal government summoned a crucial discussion with lecturers and striking ASUU staff, the national president of ASUU Prof. Nasir Fagge after the meeting came out and announce that ASUU strike will be suspended by next week, this was coming in the heel of after a new memorandum of understanding was signed by both the Federal government and ASUU which details the entire demand of ASUU. I say congrats to all the students that are tired of staying at home as next week will mark the end of your staying at home, so you can start dusting your writing materials in preparation for next week resumption. For many, they think the four major GSM network providers in the country no longer block SIM even if they failed to use the SIM over a long period of time, but the truth is that, after you have failed to use your SIM card either by not recharging it or failure to use it to receive or make calls or send or receive text messages or not browsing with it over a period of 3 months, 1 month additional grace period will be given to you, and after that if you have not still used it, your SIM will be de-registered from any of their network. And when that happens, after a long period of time, that your SIM will be recycled and sold to another customer. Have you ever wondered calling your old blocked SIM and got it ringing as another person picks it, that is exactly how these GSM network providers work, so forget about when they say validity period of lift, they still de-activate o. This mostly happens to people with multiple SIM that uses it for browsing, you will noticed that for long, they have not used some of the SIM. so to prevent this, once in a while, say every 2 months load it before keeping ptdf.cinfores.com/examinstructions.htm http://highteknology..com/2013/12/simple-ways-to-manage-and-use-your.html |

For those that love online shopping like I do, no doubt that the duo of Kong and Jumia are the biggest and most famous online store here in Nigeria. I have been shopping in both shops for a while now, so I decided to come up with this unbiased comparison between the both online stores, meaning I am talking from my experience from the both stores. Commodities ===> no doubt that when it comes to amount total amount of commodities available in both stores, Jumia has more commodities in totality Prices of Items===> I have come to notice that most items in Konga are cheaper than that of Jumia, even more so, Konga offer free shipping, while Jumia charges for shipping time or speed of delivery===> all the time I have shopped in Konga down here in PH city, my Items have not stayed more than 3 days before getting to me, while my first experience with jumia, the item stayed for 8 days before getting to me, and when it finally arrived, after I have called them, I noticed that they came with a different item from the one I ordered for. So what are your own judgement from my experience and what are your own experience with them? http://highteknology..com/2013/12/konga-vs-jumia.html |
Are you still in the categories of people who debates constantly on whether plugging or unplugging your laptop while making use of it, it it has any negative effect on your laptop battery. But it always baffles me when people just decide on their own without adequate knowledge on something, propound their own theory. You will here some while making use of their laptop will tell you to unplug it that the battery will over charge as it is still plugged in. well, after deep research, I came to find out that their is nothing like over charging when making use of your laptop and charging it. I came to find out that especially for all this modern laptops, that whenever the battery is fully charged, it automatically stops charging and switches to supplying to the laptop, and so there is nothing like over charging. Other method you can use to safe guard your laptop battery life, is not discharging it completely before charging, you can set your laptop to say short down when the battery level gets to 15%. some other methods too can be used which I know some of you are already using. http://highteknology..com/2013/11/how-to-use-your-laptop-battery-to.html |
