CoronaVirusPro: People who have never travelled and don’t know what plays will have more to say than those who have actually passed through the system.
I love what the lady said, go get a visa and experience that life of you choose to.
The western life will put you on your toes till you die. You will never have rest of mind. Don’t let TikTok videos and American movies deceive you. That system is a modernized and equipped slave market.
Those that say for the future of the kids don’t even know they are praying for their kids to get into debt from a young age and serve the system till they stop breathing. How many can pay the fees for a top university outrightly.
Even the education is wack. How many Nigerians live in top tier zip codes with highly rated schools. They only appreciate those quack schools in low rated zip codes based on what they have in Nigeria.
A country where medical bills can send you back to the streets homeless.
If you study the system, you will realize it’s a trap.
“The American dream is an illusion”
They soak you in debt to make you believe you are doing fine, and you will work for the system till you die.
Even in death, your corpse will still pay heavily to have a grave and still be owing the government sales tax when your family want to liquidate your property.
that's the type of system Tinubu wants to recreate in Nigeria
Achor1111: Let's digress a bit, a case study of Abia state for those that knows Abia. T.A Orji literally pick OVI and made him Governor against all odds. OVl was still loyal till 8yrs. Ebony state: Elechi run am for Umahi, Umahi only breakforth after first tenure. Sim acted to early, there was an agreement he consented, at least allow your Boss enjoy for a while even though we expected it, because you can't keep a man in the dark forever.
if you know all this, why do even bother to vote? knowing that one idiot somewhere will install another animal to be your governor?
the blood of the innocent youth corper that was spilled because he refused to turn in his results for manipulation will ensure Wike and Fubara never get what they want.
Kobojunkie: 1. E dey pain you be reason why you respond, abi?
2. I didn't say he could not want a virgin. I simply made it known to him where that fixation of his most likely comes from and will eventually lead him. Marriage to that kind of human amounts to marrying a crisis waiting to happen.
3. Of course, you would not want him to listen even though this very internet is filled to the brim with stories of how such men easily end up trapped by that desire of theirs.
4. I don't hate seeing men or women getting what they want, nor do I hate seeing them get what they deserve. I simply warn of how those desires may lead to a possibly undesirable yet deserved end for men who reason as he does. The pattern has been observed both in those abroad and in Nigeria. Only that in Nigeria, many of these men end up predators that run wild, and their kids are rarely ever spared, a very sad situation.
Eriokanmi: Nice one. We're yet to know the reason behind all these strange illness and disorders in our society today.
Nowadays there's a rising number of:
Infertility Autistic patients Stroke Diabetes High blood pressure Cancer Imbeciles Etc.
Those born in the 70s/80s would understand what I'm saying cos we rarely heard of such cases back then. We used to see it only in the movies and foreign news. People were being begged to go to hospitals because they've got no reason to do so. Pregnant women would go to midwives to have their babies and safely but nowadays, women would die during labour, despite the sophisticated nature of some health institutions today. Could it be due to diets, lifestyle, etc? The debate floor is open. Have your say.
i no even understand which yeye autism be that? something wey backhand slap dey cure
Kobojunkie: 1. You are not a virgin, but you expected that there would be virgins everywhere abi? No be craze dem dey call that?
2. I honestly don't think you will benefit from marriage at all as there is the chance that this virginity obsession of yours will most likely lead you to either rape your daughter or maybe even your wife's sibling/house help who you happen to perceive is a virgin. I have read enough stories of your kind to realize that these delusions never simply go away. They find other ways to compensate for the lack in your lives; Nigeria is riddled with stories of your kind that it is probably better you are not allowed near children at all.
nobody said women should not marry virgins too, why e dey pain you?
the man want virgin, if you are not a virgin, don't feel bad that he will not marry you.
damzy88, do not listen to bitter non-virgins on the internet. they hate seeing men getting what they want and it is one of the core tenets of nigerian-feminism (also including nigerian women abroad, they somehow carry that stupid way of life outside)
Chilipepper: Don't ever have s3x with a drunk person no matter how much pressure they put you on - Lawyer Deji Adeyanju cautions.
This Deji Adeyanju is an idiot and you are also propagating his idiocy.
Is sex a one way thing? If i have sex with someone after they were drunk, why can I not say they raped me? fvck off you fvcking niggas. this is why nigeria will continually remain behind in life. you nigerians lack the ability to think with your brains filled with sperm and vaginal discharge
JoeyNaza: Before you judge the hospital, read this lengthy post from Dr.PenKing.
Note that the normal average cost of childbirth runs into thousands of dollars in developed countries.
An average Nigerian is one health emergency away from bankruptcy. Stroke gulped 6 million in 4 days from a friends family through cranial surgery and consultancy fees. Having such funds readily available was the difference between life and death of their father.
Get covered by one form of health insurance or another today.
All of you shouting health insurance this, health insurance that, are you not paying attention to what is happening in countries that claim to have a robust health insurance system?
The United Health Care CEO that was assassinated, why do you think it happened? Do you know how many people suffer and die because these evil people in the insurance industry continually deny treatment coverage for you when you are sick?
Imagine you have malaria and you need 6 tablets to get well, health insurance will tell you they can only pay for 2. so what is the point?
neolboy: This is my life story I am sharing my experience here about marriage life, some of you might call me a Simp or weakling but need to share it for those who asked me to share it when I write on a topic about what i regretted so far in 2025, was getting married last year December and ending it this Year January will pick one or two things from my story.
I met this girl 2023 through a mutual friend, we became an acquaintance and later start dating. She is from Delta state likewise myself, she comes from Ndokwa west specifically Kwale by tribe. In 2024 i proposed to her, by May I went to see her family while she came to meet mine also.
Early September i asked her family for the traditional list. We both agreed for traditional marriage and court wedding, After collecting the list we start planning towards the traditional marriage which was fixed on December 29 on a Sunday afternoon. That faithful day, i went with my people to pay the bride price and other things, and the court wedding was fixed on January 17.
January 7th, we were together discussing but something strange happened, her phone rang and i saw her going outside to answer some calls, after sometimes she came back inside not composed. I asked her what the problem was but she downplayed it and told me it was nothing, but i was not comfortable, after a while her phone rang again, it was her brother's wife calling her and asking her if she has told me about the pregnancy. I was shocked and asked her what pregnancy is she talking about.
Here comes the shock of my life, i discovered that she was some weeks pregnant, I asked her who got her pregnant, to my surprise, it was her ex boyfriend. I was enraged, mad and furious, something was whispering into my ear to go into the kitchen take a knife and stab her. Luckily for me, my younger sister called me at that moment, if not i don't know what i would have done to her. Because it was late i left the house for her.
In the morning, i came back, she was already in tears crying and asking me for forgiveness. I told her to leave my house, I picked up my phone call all her family members, called mine also. Her family were trying to persuade me to forgive her but i told them it was unforgivable. My family asked for the refund of the bride price which was later refunded after they discovered that i did not bulge to their request of accepting her back.
It was a painful moment and a painful experience too, but i was able to pull through by the help of my family members some friends.
It was a long story i had to cut it short. It is my life story
Moral lesson: Do pregnancy test even on the day you are to tie the knot, do not trust to the extent of ignoring little things.
Extra: The guy who got her pregnant was aware and even told the girl's sister that his property with them he is coming in future to collect it. Na so I for dey look after another man's property
no be small "na so i for dey look another man property"
the blood of that innocent youth corper killed during rivers state governorship election because he refused to give up his papers for them to change results will ensure that neither Wike nor Fubara will ever get what they want.
JovialJune: Lol no pity for women who knowingly marry men that cheat, they will continually spit on your face with their cheating till you finally break down,
Lesson learnt Annie, fame and wealth while overlooking huge negativities doesn't necessarily guarantee peace of mind.
even men that marry women who they fully know are cheats deserve no pity when they cheated on. Imagine buying second jeans wey get tear tear, then you come dey complain next week say breeze dey blow ya nyash too much
seunmsg: Nigeria’s long term economic outlook is very bright. International organizations are all very optimistic about Nigeria’s future because of all the economic reforms President Tinubu is working on.
You don’t have to like Tinubu to see some of these things. For the past 30 years or so, all presidents have had to worry about fuel subsidy, electricity subsidy, forex subsidy, state governments hijack of local government funds etc. In less than two years, he tackled all these issues instead of sidestepping them like all others have done. Going forward, no president after him will have to worry about any of these issues.
Things may be difficult but some of these things Judy have to be done in the overall long term interest of the country.
since i was born, Nigeria's economic outlook has always looked bright. the reality is that things are rough
1972xy: The Traditionalists are not happy with the present situation in Nigeria. Because, nothing to share again. No more sharing formula. It has ever been the tradition to share the national cake but with this administration ,the sharing stops. So, they are not happy. They fight back... Nigeria shall be Great Again.
the sharing never stopped. it is a gang of new and old members that are doing the current sharing
also, Nigeria was never great. Stop lying to yourself.
