Truth is bitter, an A agency is usually hotcakes...
Before they think of merit, they first think of politicians... No be una go sign their budget for them, no be una go cover up for them in time of probes...
From the 150 vacancies, 70 would already have been given to curtail future favours, all directors in any agency is entitled to 2 slots there's around 10-16 might also be gone, the head of the agency might be having 5-7 slots for him self, head of FCC might be having 2-4 slots...
How many go remain, how many will be on merit... See let's be telling ourselves the truth... Well unless you don't know how hot A list agencies are
Well back to my hibernation, insha Allah God will make a way for us where there seems to be no ways |

Shukusheka: Everything isn't connection bro. I applied and got a Manager role at FIRS a few months ago without knowing a single person. In fact, most of us got in without knowing anyone. Why not allow people pursue their goal with the believe that meritocracy will take them through. At least if people don't have connection, they should have hope. Calm down with the lies young lad, FIRS hasn't done any recruitment in a very long time, so where did you apply and how did you get... The lies no dey necessary, but I get what you trying to say.. I wish all of us luck regardless |

Salemed002: 4years experience for officer II? Please where was this stated? For calling fresh graduates to the 1st and even this 2nd stage, I believe Officers II will be their take Insha Allah we would both pass, then afterwards we would know how people would be screened... See I am speaking from experience, they would ask those that have relations working there to signify (if you make mistake signify you are GONE), They would then ask those with 2.1, 2.2, first class to be separated, (this is in the situation where minimum requirements was 2.2) then 2.1, and first class scales through... The last then was age, if you are above 24years( the minimum age then), you were asked to signify.... Then those remaining were those that did the interview and from there they were selected.... Now this was a bank o, imagine an organization like NERC.... But if they do it like NCDMB, I don't think it would happen that way |

Idrismusty97: By the time they finish this recruitment process i would have gotten that four years experience lol . You mean to say they didn't look at the years of experience twice? Not everyone was shortlisted for online, still not everyone was shortlisted for this physical. Both times they didn't look at the years of experience? Please don't discourage anybody o. Have you done any bank graduate trainee interview before ? If you have you won't be asking.. Well I sha know the process no suppose pass 2 years, insha allah |

Salemed002: Looking at these positions ...officers II would be for fresh graduates For people with 4years experience... Didn't you go through the criteria? If one scale through and doesn't have up to 4 years experience, dey would be removed... If you have ever done interviews for banks Graduate trainee program, you would know criterias are usually used in the last stage which is physical interview |

falcon01: I've been reading this thread since and I'm laughing at some of your comments. Let me just save Y’all the stress 1. If you can't log in with the message (you no longer have access to this service), don't stress yourself. You are not shortlisted 2 8. You can't view your result 9. NERC is one of the Government agency known for giving appointments based on merit Rather Than Connection it's just a matter of luck. I'm not saying a there's no connection but NERc is known for its Merit. (If you have high score, Experience, you jave an upper hand already) Good luck. You are right, but you see that last part? Guy you are very wrong there.. NO GOVERNMENT RECRUITMENT that they don't give slots to ministers, Senior senators and governors... Even FCC Chairman will have 1 or 2 slots given to her... There will definitely be merits but trust me people dey wey just dey wait for appointment letter. |

You are excited for a 70 slots open for more than probably 50,000 successful applicants so far? My brother, go to NCDMB thread and see what was done to us... Mind you almost 1k people was recruited in that one ooo, not to talk of this one that won't even be up to 100 people... What I will suggest for you now is to be finding strong connections that would give you an edge, cause as for me that's what I intend doing |

Success1930: Good morning bro. Hope you are doing great? I didn't apply for it. Can a FCC Commissioner help me push? Was there a print out at the end of registration I don't have much information unfortunately but it depends, and why I say so is cause every employment must pass through FCC, so it's highly possible. You must register to get it, if na your own, e go happen with your connect |

For those who registered for NSIA and got the SMSs I have a piece of advice for you, if you don't have connection omo no waste your time... This same recruitment was done last year, I and my friend both scored 80+, none of us were called.
It is highly sought after, same thing with this NERC, if you don't have the connections don't put much hope in it. If you have the connections, worry them
Not trying to discourage anyone but telling you from past experience, I also would be writing on 31th again but my mind no too they am unless na God's will |

Olowozain: "someone who doesn't have any experience but extremely well connected will make final 70 people" is not likely to be successful in the role offered. There is no doubt about cutting edge advantages, it is an advantage when a candidate is deemed-fit. An experience programmer with the programming codes/languages skills required to perform well on the job having strong ties with a minister, or a senator is obviously having a good strong recommendation amongst others qualify candidates. Keep putting our best as usual and never be discouraged You are actually right but you know this is Nigeria, dey don't really care about all that.. All we can do is hope we also make it with them, but what I can say positively is some will get this stuff even without meeting the criterias. Again we saw that vividly in the just concluded NCDMB recruitment |

Just so you know, someone who doesn't have any experience but extremely well connected will make the final 70 people..
Regardless of how transparent a recruitment is, they would always give slots to senior ministers, senators and head of FCC... AND THAT'S THE GOSPEL TRUTH |
