grin grin grin grin. I cwould rather play defensive strategy and win than play an offensive one and lose. I honestly think Guardiola is a little overrated. Win this thing so at least the English fans can brag that we still have one team in the tournament grin you can't. Where's that guy that was running all over the place talking up offensive strategies. Offensive strategy my ass. grin. Perhaps you have learnt one or two things. grin.

@Edope.sin. Team defensive, wetin you think?
My guy I told the good Joe o cheesy

He has learnt the hard way that playing defensive is not cowardice but a football strategy

[quote author=TheLoneCitizen post=92860420]Would have said Golovin who was involved in both goals.

This was Onyekuru's assist, the pass took out two players but Golovin still had lot of work to do.

smart from Onyekuru

The Martin's guy was very much active in the Right wing with his frequent run at AZ defence and he is a new arrival at the club

Kovac needs to work on his tactics though
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Edopesin: 9:14pm On Aug 15, 2020
TheLoneCitizen:
Monaco weren't impressive, Onyekuru also wasn't. But his replacement Nacer Chadli was awful.

Onyekuru did assist Golovin's goal but he made the pass 30m from goal and Golovin did all the work. Was a very scrappy game of few chances and by the looks of it, Monaco would struggle this season.
It was a very boring game, I stopped watching when they took him off

They were having a hard time getting out of their half way line cause AZ were sitting back and after the goal they weren't interested in scoring anymore

I did notice that their defenders made an habit of passing the ball out of trouble instead of clearing and they were successful most of the time

Gelson Martins was a stand out player in the first half

PS2 is trash, Any Ronaldo R2 is a goal and the graphics is not so great.. I prefer the graphics of PS3 and upwards, though I play more of PC PES 2019 and Storm 4

I asked a Monaco fan page about his performance and this was the response I got
Asides the assist, he was largely anonymous

Onyekuru was not really Impressive in the first half same as the other 9 outfield players but he was the only one taken off at half time

Exactly
Though they rarely attack from the left wing, it's mostly on the right

End of first half
AZ 0-1 Monaco
This Monaco team is poooor

Stoke City are set to sign former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi on a one-year deal.

The former Nigeria captain, 33, is a free agent having left Turkish side Trabzonspor by mutual consent in March.

And how many you got ?

In the next 20 years you won’t still reach my ucl titles grin

I can’t relate with Europa league because I can’t play there grin

If we are to go by you local standards then Sevilla is better than you with more Europa leagues cheesy
cheesy
I'll argue about Sevilla when they win la liga or UCL, in the meantime they can compete wolves or arsenal their fellow small teams cheesy

As for Barca, seeing the AC Milan like destiny that awaits them it's safe to say that it's going to be 20 years with no UCL

Europa League will be available though, you'll meet qarabag, ludograts and your fellow failed team AC Milan cheesy
