There is nothing special about him as a top 9, but same can't be said about Osimhen who seems to play like a Diego Costa kind of striker... The reason why Giroud was starting ahead was because Tammy struggled with fitness

He was out injured and struggled with fitness when he returned and that was the only reason why Giroud was starting ahead of him and despite this he ended the season with better stats than Osimhen

He did better even though he struggled with form and lost his starting shirt to an inform Giroud

As for your last paragraph, we are getting a better, more versatile player than both Osimhen and Tammy so nobody is saying Tammy should start ahead of him so use another line

FIFA Relief Funds: Super Eagles Austria Camp To Cost $150,000

The proposed training camp for the Super Eagles in Austria in September would cost the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, $150,000.

The president of the federation, Amaju Pinnick was quoted to say that the funds for the camping and two friendly matches in Austria will be gotten from the FIFA Relief funds.

The NFF had already received the first instalment of FIFA Forward fund of One million dollars ($1 million) and additional Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) from CAF.

However, NFF chieftains want the Eagles’ stars to be committed and that their clubs would release them for the game.

Though, consultation with the team’s stars’ European clubs would be conducted by Super Eagles’ manager Gernot Rohr.

Meanwhile, feedback from the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr on the assignment will determine if the federation would commit money into the exercise coming up in September.

According to the source, Sportinglife, the NFF chiefs want to seize the opportunity of having two European countries in Austria during the period to have the Eagles play training games with them, though the matches would be non-scoring since September isn’t a FIFA-free window where points accrue to such international friendlies.

In fact, NFF’s tentative approach to getting the Eagles to converge on Austria rests with the fact that September isn’t a FIFA-free window which means that the European clubs are not duty-bound to release their players to their countries for international matches, especially during this Coronavirus pandemic.

After consultations with the leadership of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Board endorsed the proposal from the Secretariat for the lump sum of $2,000,000.00 (Two Million American Dollar Only) to be shared across the various Clubs and governing bodies of the various Leagues, viz Nigeria Professional Football League, Nigeria National League, Nigeria Women Football League and the Nigeria Nationwide League, as a booster for their preparation ahead of the 2020/2021 League Season.


The total sum is made up of $1,000,000 (being FIFA’s support for restarting the football season); $500,0000 (being FIFA’s dedicated support for women’s football); $300,000 (CAF’s support to its Member Associations); $200,000 (NFF’s support from Sponsors’ Funds).

Kubo is unpredictable and more direct than him. Without him Chukwueze couldn't get a consistent run of games, with him he would need to massively improve to to maintain first team status.

The only plus being the Villarreal board would not allow Emery to constantly favour a loaned wonderkid(no option to buy) over a signed wonderkid.

Chukwueze played probably his best game for Villarreal last season and if that alone is not form worthy to be maintained and improved on
