When my grandchildren talk about Messi, I'll be able to say 'Look at this picture I have: the grandfather carrying him, ha!'. That moment (my goal vs. Nigeria) was incredible. It was the goal I screamed the most in my life." [tyc sports]

Cameroon's Italia 90 World Cup team to get promised houses

Leocadia Bongben
BBC Sport in Yaounde

Cameroon's famous side that reached the quarter-finals of the 1990 World Cup in Italy will finally get the houses promised to them by President Paul Biya 30 years ago.
Three of the players, Louis Paul Mfede, Benjamin Massing and Stephen Tataw have already died.
The long wait was because a list of 44 names was submitted, instead of 22 players on the team. A request for just 22 names was made but then the minister in charge changed and the issue was forgotten about.
An association of former Indomitable Lions players, headed by Bertin Ebwelle, revived the matter through a letter to the presidency in June.
The president signed a note giving the go ahead for the houses to the director of housing on Wednesday.
The houses are located in the capital, Yaoundé, the economic hub Douala and the coastal city of Limbe.
Roger Milla, Cameroon’s roving ambassador and one of the oldest players in the squad, has thanked the head of state for the "supreme recognition".

What are you saying? How do you want the owner and his mods to feed if not through advert. So because they advertise for obaseki now that made them have selfish interest?
What happened to neutrality in politics? This is a perfect picture of what goes on in this country

The other day someone was scammed because of one of those said Ads that they "feed" from, because they feed from it doesn't mean they have to throw caution in one and be insensitive

Lolz, so you think is your comment they are using to maintain the site?
Because they don't use my comment to maintain the forum doesn't mean they have to promote anything that brings money to them irrespective of wether it's scam or sensitive matters as this where neutrality is golden
The other day someone lost money after visiting one of those ads

Don't doubt it...
His failed stint at Leicester notwithstanding,I believe Musa still has a good reputation in Europe... with his performance in Russia and at the world cup,he can still bag a move to a decent league in Europe if he wishes to return...
Lols What World cup performance? there's no reputation bro, He is now a shadow of the Musa that played in Russia.... I'd be surprised if he moves to Championship but the Premier league doesn't seem realistic at all

Head coach Imama confident of Lifting Abia Warriors

August 06

Abia Warriors head coach Imama Amakapabo has stated that if things go the right way with the right resources, he will deliver as expected.

In a chat with brila, he expressed confidence in his aspirations to the club but warned that it won’t be accomplished without hard work and also the the idealism between himself and the management.
“Everybody dreams, it would be folly of myself and the management if we have this pact and we don’t aspire, but a lot of work had to be done and let’s not forget that this team had been able to sustain herself and they are one of those teams that have not gone to relegation after coming to the apex league.
However, they have been a mid-table team but with the harmony and unification of working with the management we will be able to go to the top, “he said.

He plays in a poor league, and is rated the same as Etebo, Semi Ajayi, Dessers and Ejuke. Must be some talent.
I've seen his clips, He is good and a transfer of 10m or around that will put him in the spotlight

Het Nieuwsblas reports that FC Midtjylland have rejected an unacceptable bid of 3.5M for Player Of The Year, Frank Onyeka.

Not only do they want more than double the offer, but the player is rated 4M on Transfermarkt.
Club Brugge is such a cheapskate club, 3.5M?
They can surely do better

Rangers International On Preparation For The Resumption of the League

With the expected start of the 2020/2021 football season in a few weeks’ time (Covid-19 Pandemic allowing), the management of multiple Nigeria league and challenge cup champions, Rangers International F.C have sounded it clear that the team are set to challenge on all fronts.

In an exclusive session with RangersMedia, the G.M/CEO of Rangers, Davidson Owumi, stated that with the expected retention of the majority of players that defended the colors of the club last season, the management is confident of making the club numerous supporters proud.

“I am sincerely glad with the way we are going about our preparations for the fast-approaching football season. Our coaching crew is at work and will soon come up with a list of players retained and those that will bid us bye for the season. For management, it is our belief that a handful of quality legs will be sourced to fill noticed areas of lapses in the team,” stated Owumi.

On the list of players that made the cut from the previous season, the former NPL boss, said,“As stated earlier, the coaches are working round the clock to ensure that the best legs are retained from the players that defended our colors last season as well as getting just a few more to add to the team for the new season. A comprehensive list of players to defend our colors will be made public as soon as the coaches complete their work in that regard.”
