This is as a sequel to my post where I claimed the North might adopt Peter Obi for presidency come 2027 and some attack dogs came for me.

I wrote how I perceive whatever opposition the North will cook up to involve Peter Obi (PO) and the Obidient movement but was laughed at.

I just brought evidence to validate my permutations in form of tweets.

There are three in all. And they were tweeted by the former governor of Kaduna State's son, Bashir El-Rufai, he confirmed my permutations. And to think I hadn't seen that tweet before my post!

In one of the tweets, he referred to himself as a "fellow obidient", in another he said how PO is a great leader (we know it's mere political speak but let's just pretend and play along). The third tweet was of someone mentioning wishfully how they'd love it if the SDP coalition (the party Nasir El-Rufai decamped to) included personalities such as Peter Obi, Atiku, Prof Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, and El-Rufai. Bashir answered that many of those were already part of it.

Less than 24 hours and I'm already being proven right. I eagerly wait to hear what opposing opinions will have to say now.

Igbos are doing well despite the situation. Igbos will always do well because over the years, Igbos have positioned themselves to do well no matter how bad the Nigeria's economy and leadership is.


A lion never eat grass no matter how hunger hits the land.

If Igbos were economically underprivileged like the North, 2023 Presidential election heist by Tinubu/INEC was enough to cause nationwide chaos, but no because most Igbos are gainfully employed in either their trade, business, menial, artisan, middleclass and well paid jobs, while most are abroad shrugging it out, so no courage or desperation to hit the streets like the North that's ravaged by hunger, mass unemployment and poverty due to large population of idle, hungry young people, whose elites and the upper class depend mostly on government help, aid, jobs, contracts, appointments and whatnot for survival.


One of the reasons some of us Igbos wanted Peter Obi to emerge President aside his good leadership credentials, was to bring peace and security back to Southeast that used to be one of the safest regions in Nigeria until Satan Buhari became President in 2015 and used wickedness, nepotism and inhumane policies to destabilize Southeast and push some senseless Igbo youths to the edge.


We believed Peter Obi's emergence would have buried the cry of political marginalization by Igbo youths and possibly buried the issue of Biafra secession forever as they wouldn't have any other reason to agitate or complain of marginalization.


So only the North deserve to revolt against bad government like Tinubu's own because they suffer the most of it.


Dont get me wrong; Igbos do have poor people, but the number of poor and completely idle people in Igbo land is less than those in any other region of Nigeria and the reason is not far fetched; Igbos dont rely on paid jobs or government like most regions. They always resort to self help and self development, and couple with the fact that they dominate trade, commerce and small scale businesses in Nigeria, it helps reduce the number of idle youths in Igbo region compared to other regions.


And it's not easy to catch up with Igbos when it comes to business and trade because Igbos have spread all over the world over the decades making it easier for an Igbo person to startup business today with ease. While others mocked them for always touring the world including unheard countries and regions, they dont know that it's a huge advantage to Igbos and their business endeavors. That was the same thing that made Europe to dominate and conquer the world, Chinese are repeating same today.



So people should keep laughing at Igbos migrating to Cambodia, Nauru, Tivalu, Kiribati, etc, while the sophisticated tribes focus on migrating only to developed countries like UK, US, France, Canada, at the end of the race, we shall count miles

These videos made me reflect deeply:
If I were in their position, would I pass this test? Is my Iman strong enough to reject such an offer?

Now, ask yourself honestly:
If you were in their shoes, would you stand firm or fall into temptation?

We may think it’s easy to reject money in a social experiment, but what about in real life?

What if you were promised a life-changing job but asked to compromise your faith?

What if an opportunity came that required dishonesty, fraud, or abandoning your religious duties?

What if you were pressured by society to remove your hijab, save your beards, skip your prayers, or abandon halal for haram?

These are real tests that many Muslims face daily. The true test of faith is in such moments—when our love for Allah is weighed against the glitter of this world.

As Muslims, we should have a deep understanding of our religion and hold onto it firmly, no matter the temptations. Breaking the fast for money is not just about skipping a meal. It’s about compromising our principles and selling our Iman for a worldly gain.

Allah reminds us:
“And among the people is he who sells himself, seeking the pleasure of Allah. And Allah is Kind to His servants.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:207)

No matter how much we are offered, Allah is the true provider. He is the source of all wealth and barakah. If we hold onto our faith, He will bless us beyond what money can buy.

May Allah never test us with trials we cannot bear. May He strengthen our faith, grant us contentment, and keep us steadfast in His obedience. Ameen.

Every year for the last ten years, food prices have consistently increased in Nigeria at the start of Ramadan. 2025 is the first time since records have been kept that food prices have actually reduced during Ramadan.

And the amazing thing is that this year, both Ramadan and the Christian fasting season of Lent are occurring simultaneously. This should ordinarily have put more pressure on food prices. But we are seeing the opposite happening. Why? This is the TInubu Effect occasioned by the Office of the National Security Adviser's capable management of Nigeria's food security.

For the first time, Nigeria now has an NSA who is not just focused on physical security, which has seen Nigeria's Global Terror Index score improve from 8.065 in 2023 to 7.575—our best score in over eight years.

The ONSA is also focused on food security and other aspects of security, such as fuel and power security. In furtherance of this, the ONSA has stopped the practice of staple goods leaving Nigeria for neighbouring countries during festive seasons while providing physical security for farming communities whose operations were once hampered by insecurity.

Every truck carrying farm produce is monitored up to the market so it cannot be diverted to neighbouring countries. Livestock is monitored when it enters Nigeria. Dams are being surveilled, and water distribution to irrigate farms is now treated as a National Security issue.

Additionally, the practice of smuggling Nigerian petrol to our neighbours has been nipped in the bud. Last year, the ONSA facilitated the closure of over 1800 fuel stations that violated smuggling regulations. That punitive measure put the fear of the law into the sector, and now fuel smuggling is at an all-time low in Nigeria. The result is that, along with a rise in local refining, Nigeria is now witnessing a steady reduction in fuel prices. This intelligent approach to national security is now bearing fruit.

Look at the first headline from 2022, bearing witness to food price increase because of Ramadan. But in 2025, the headline is the reverse. The Tinubu Effect is real!
