FEGEITOK: Did you earth your panels?
Just asking because during my initial install the installer didn't.
I did it myself after the fact.
When I asked, he said it wasn't necessary.
But I knew better and had to sort it out myself.
If you haven't, please do. How does one go about earthing the panels? Edit: response seen. |

Edrizz: My brother, add an additional 580watt panel to ur existing array n everything will hence go smoothly. I'm also using that brand n type of ur inverter and I have 5pieces of 400watt on it n on a good sunny day I use the system to power my 2kw electric kettle n sometimes inductive hotplate self, those two appliances draw 1,300+ from my panel n then draws additional 900+watt from my 5.888kwh lfp pack cos my freezer is always in use with any of the said appliances...but in a hot afternoon when I use my 1000watt philip iron + freezer, my battery will keep charging at around 100w+ while I consume 1.2kw+ from my panel for the said load... all in all, my 2kw panel have never gone above 1.365kw in this rainy season, though I'm yet to experience dry season harvest sha Your LFP is 24v or 12v sir? |

Betnomore: I have done severally. Now its flunctuating between 2-7mbps after calling Airtel customer care. Airtel are very deceptive which I know from the beginning. My other airtel line is doing 40mbps per second. So it's not Network issue, rather they throttled it and if one doesn't complain vehemently, they expect you to use it like that Good you are calling them out. Hopefully they get to restore it by doing the honourable thing |

Betnomore: Its the 20mbps unlimited plan. Ive used 1tb so far this month and the data has throttled yesterday Hv u tried restarting the router or something as a last resort of some sort. |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by EduTechTainMent: 6:44pm On Jun 20, 2024 |
tivta: I messaged them asking if the service was still available over 2 months ago and still haven't received a response Best is to visit their customer centre and purchase one. There is an airtel agent on NL who maintains a thread and sells those units. I know some folks on here who bought from him. I think he is based in Ibadan. |

Betnomore: Bro ow far. I'm experiencing data throttling down to 1mbps once i reached 1tb of data usage on the airtel 5g router. Have you experienced such because it shouldn'tbe as there is no FUP. Please do let me know your experience with such issues. I never experienced this although I use the ODU. Also I don't even bother checking my data usage since I know it's unlimited. I shared my experience here https://www.nairaland.com/8107167/airtel-unlimited-internet-subscriptionYou could ask on there if any other users experience same issue |

Trippledots: I don't really understand, because normally the wall controller has two cables that is supposed to be connected to a battery bank. Once you leave those cables disconnected it works simply like an AC powered DC fan. Hope the electrician followed the connection diagram in the manual I want to believe he did cos he is an experienced technician. I use both the remote and the wall controller for mine. Both work without issues. |

Trippledots: Eh! 😳...I know they have a DC cable meant for connecting a battery and it can charge the battery when there is normal power supply.
How was your fan connected? You mean the dc cable cable can charge the battery when there is grid power supply? Can you pls elaborate. I don't seem to understand your post. |

How was your fan connected? It was connected by an electrician using both AC/DC. So it auto switches between both ac and dc seamlessly without any need to turn it on when grid power outage. |

Dam5reey: There is Li mode on the Inverter, this has to do with Settings.
What type of batteries is it, and what are the charging Voltages? Lithium Bulk and Float must be the same. Provide more information about the charge settings, Current and charging mode, etc. What's the best LFP setting for powmr 60A cc? Or default would do just fine. Secondly, you recommended use of Qasa AC/DC ceiling fans which works absolutely great. However I noticed it "back charges" the LFP batteries. I mean it also contributes to charging current of the LFP battery. Have you noticed this? Pls note that I am not the only one who observed this. Infact my attention was called to this by some of those I recommended the qasa ceiling fan to. I initially doubted it but I can now confirm this is true. Is there anyone else who is experiencing this on here? |

dollarnaira: All good. Well I have never turned off my inveter even when it rains with lightning. It is too boring and dark without power during rain. Was surprised as well. Perhaps it better not to err on the side of caution. One can never be too careful |

osayuwamwen: Yes the reviews are good, it has all the 7 to 8 basic protection but na to they off am and off all my breakers once weather change sure pass, I don learn lesson in hard way Why not only switch off the breakers. Will the lightening still affect the inverter that is on even though the circuit breaker has been switched off and no supply flows through to the Panels - > cc - > inverter - > battery |

gifted65: Please what does 1.2kw means.. Just switched to Tubular so I saw 1.2kw on my powmr charge controller. What's your setup in terms of PV arrays, how they are connected, your inverter and battery capacities? |

BadMaster: The router sim and unlimited 20k, 35k and 50k data works on phone. I have tried it myself. However, 1. Did you buy the simcard as a standalone sim and then subscribed for the unlimited plans or 2. You used the already provisioned simcard that came with your router/ODU by inserting it into your phone after subscribing to the unlimited plan on it? |

dominique: Ok thanks. The router model is MF 286C ZTE. Can it be unlocked? Also if I do the airtel unlimited, can it work with phone as router? I believe it can. I can't answer the 2nd question because I have not tried it out. I doubt it will work with any sim card that has not been provisioned to work as such. You could try asking airtel agents though. |
