Nice2023:
There is the yahoo that they called "mirror yahoo...

Let explain,u see this method of yahoo it is the craziest. 70% of the guys in it are most from the southern region of this country and Lagos boys. It is better referred as the version of yahoo where human beings aren't involved at first but after about three years, the request for blood would most likely from come from ur family.

This yahoo type, does not pity u,it would start needing human blood until the day it would face u squarely. In fact,it is so bad that u will live to regret it.

It is done in some parts of Delta state,Edo and Ghana. It all started in Ghana before they brought it to Nigeria.

Stay in your lane. Yahoo will now be seen as an option for him to make money. When you get a job, you will know no other means but putting effort into something. He may be caught soon. Let’s see what happens. People have different destinies in life. He may get caught after fifteen years, you may be arrested in your first week. Do you want to test the odds?

In life, always do the right thing.

Obogidi:
I’ve been thinking about this for weeks, and I just need to say it out.
I have a friend—we graduated together. Same class, same struggles.
After NYSC, we were both job hunting. Sending CVs, attending interviews, doing everything the “right way.”
Nothing was working.
Then one day, he told me he wanted to “try something.”
I didn’t take him seriously at first.
Few months later… everything changed.seriously at first.
Few months later… everything changed.
This guy moved to a better apartment.
Started dressing differently.
Bought a car.
Even started sending money to people.
At first, I was happy for him.
But deep down… I knew.
Meanwhile Me…
I’m still here:
Applying for jobs
Managing small gigs
Counting every naira before spending
Sometimes I sit down and ask myself:spending
Sometimes I sit down and ask myself:
“Am I the one doing it wrong?”
Because let’s be honest…
Nigeria no really reward patience again.
The Part That’s Messing With My Head
This guy is not even hiding it.
He once told me:
“Guy, forget all this suffer-suffer. This country no send you.”
That statement has been ringing in my head.statement has been ringing in my head.
I’m Stuck Between Two Worlds
One side says:
Stay legit
Keep pushing
Your time will come
Another side says:
Look around
See reality
People are cashing out fast
I won’t lie… the temptation is real.
But At What Cost?
Every day, I keep asking:
What happens if things go wrong?
What about peace of mindpeace of mind?
What about the future?
Because fast money sometimes comes with long problems.
I Just Want Honest Opinions
No insults, no judging.
If you were in my position, what would you do?
Stay patient and keep grinding…
Or follow the reality on ground?
Because right now…
I’m honestly confused. 👇 :::

It reminds me of a work colleague who always prayed that God will right his girlfriend from cheating continuously. I didn’t know which way to tell him that it was a waste of manpower.

dauntless15:
you're missing the point, its not about being religious, its about how you funnily have to pray for everything in Nigeria, even the ridiculous basic things every govt should've provided for you, you won't have a reason to pray for a job in a country where there's employment opportunities.
Car TalkRe: How Much Is It To Enroll For Driving School In Lagos? by eepeepook: 12:44pm On Jun 11
I will employ a private driver to teach me. I’ve done the theory thrice and hardly done enough practicals. I’m budgeting about 30K at most.
Car TalkRe: How Much Is It To Enroll For Driving School In Lagos? by eepeepook: 12:43pm On Jun 11
Learning road signs no be mind. Go to a driving school. Thank God companies force drivers to attend proper driving schools first before getting employed.

I never went to a driving school I used my car to learn within a month I drove to the east with the car and back. Everything na mind

Years of constant driving....

You are correct but you are also wrong. Even in driving there is something called talent.

The first day I sat behind the wheels of a car I was just 19 but drove it for 200 meters like a pro

The man teaching me and three other guys was very surprised. He kept asking if I had driven one before and I told him no.

The only problem I had that took some correction was that I was not putting my feet firmly on the gas pad... But I was handling that car like I had been driving for at least 5 years

The truth is I have been driving for more than 10 years in my mind before that day

iPhone 17.

Bought: 2025

Price: ₦1.8 million

Experience: A minor upgrade from my 6S. The biggest positive changes are camera and sound quality. Speed? Meh. It’s new; it’s meant to be fast. The major headache was a lot of software had yet to catch up when it was a month old. Now, at almost a year, every software has a 17 compatible version. Battery health is at 99%. I lost 1% when I installed a protective case.

TravelRe: SA Woman Relocates To Nigeria With Husband As Anti-immigration Tension Grows by eepeepook: 9:02am On Jun 09
This is news, why? Tebogo, what should I do with this information? Many Nigerians relocate to your shores. Why don’t you post each and everyone since you feel I should care?

RandDigital:
A South African woman has gone viral after documenting her move to Nigeria with her bae and young son, with many social media users linking the relocation to growing anti-immigration tensions in South Africa. TikTok creator @leratoinam shared videos of her family's journey to Nigeria, where her husband was born on 7 June 2026. The video has been viewed over a million times.

The family's move comes as debates around immigration continue to dominate public conversations across the country. In recent months, the March and March movement has staged demonstrations and campaigns calling for stricter immigration enforcement and the removal of undocumented immigrants from South Africa. She captioned the post:

"Hope you guys are happy now.”

The group has repeatedly stated that undocumented foreign nationals should leave the country by 30 June 2026. Its members have organised marches, community campaigns and public demonstrations in several provinces, arguing that stronger immigration controls are needed to address unemployment, crime and pressure on public services.

As the deadline approaches, concerns have grown among immigrant communities and families with cross-border ties. Some foreign nationals have reportedly begun making plans to leave South Africa, while others remain uncertain about what could happen if tensions escalate.

User @leratoinam showed snippets of the family's departure from the airport to Nigeria and their efforts to settle into a new environment. The situation has also attracted international attention.

Earlier reports indicated that Nigerian authorities were monitoring developments in South Africa following concerns raised by members of the Nigerian community living in the country. Many netizens argued that immigration laws should be enforced consistently, maintaining that legal status remains the key issue rather than nationality itself.

Despite growing up in ghettos, I believe many of you were the type who stayed indoors and watched neighbours play outside. It’s why you can never feel good for someone living his/her life.

Congratulate her for graduating and move. It won’t take anything from you.
Nairaland GeneralRe: I Observed This Too On Young Men by eepeepook: 7:18pm On Jun 08
Nowhere in the world are 30 and 40 year old men considered young. Young adults are people in their early 20s. By 26, every person you meet in the street calls you “sir.” I don’t know if women have the same transition.

Gorillas become silverbacks at age 35. That means they are old enough to secure territory, keep a harem and father multiple offsprings. I don’t see why humans will be any different. The average human male greys at 35. For some earlier. Men who stay in shape grey at 45 or a little earlier.

Stop looking at other people and focus on your life.
