Good day everyone, Please I need information about the likely date for the PHD level interview. I'm trying to make some plans for the year and this will be very helpful. Thanks. |
I don't think that's right, the invite clearly specified credentials and eas forms as the documents to be photocopied into 4 places. Pls check properly and ask well if not certain. The info is really important. See this screenshot from last year thread

Three men find themselves in a serious problem, Information reaches them that the solution they need is up a very tall building. 1st man ignores the information and continues suffering, 2nd man tries to get to the top of the building through the staircase only to discover that his strength cannot carry him to the top but the 3rd man uses the building's elevator and gets to the top where his problem is solved. If the three men=everybody alive on earth including you, Problem=sin and its consequences, Information=the gospel, Top of the building=God, Staircase=the law, morality, Elevator=Jesus Christ, Solution=Salvation, Which of the three men would you be? John 3:16 (Msg) "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life." #Get_saved_today Please share |
BEFORE THAT KISS Just after the rain She felt she should be embraced A deep embrace by a man... Yes, she is born again and speaks in tongues Where is he? My dear fiancé ... She wanted that kiss again... The urge to be curdled was rising... Thoughts running out of control really She held her pillow tightly to herself. She was hot. And then... There was a tap at the door... It was him. Brother Charles has come! Mixed feelings... She felt something could go wrong.... Strangely, she wanted it all the same... Her moral wall was so down... She needed help now... Charming Charles came in with his irresistible smile Awesome dentition with the smell of her favorite perfume As usual, Charles landed that kiss on her lips To express his love. He has been innocent as she has been... But unknown to him, he has been charging her 'battery'... Charles held her shoulder with his right And held the back of her head with the left. She loved the kiss... She held on to him a little... Then a little more... Suddenly... There was an ignition. It was a spark! Bossom fire was lit She could not control herself anymore... Her hands went under his shirt And then down to his trousers Things were going on so fast. Very fast. Charles' heart was beating very fast... He knew this was wrong but could not push her away Her hands went under the trousers Their blood boiled It was intense... They were simply helpless Tears rolled down her cheeks as she pushed him to the bed. There was light out. NEPA contributed its quota They ravished and explored their bodies And then, her blood flowed. The teeth of her virginity broken. Her innocence taken away. Hmnnnn.... Weeks later Morning sickness began She started vomiting... Charles said he was not ready. I am not ready to be a father yet, he sneered. Alone, lonely and abandoned. So she wept. One thing led to the other... And she found herself at the abortion table. With a mighty stroke The abortionist crushed the foetus More blood flowed.... A seed taken down A baby murdered A nation wiped out And Jehovah sighed. The Holy One wept. Oh! My beloved. That innocent kiss That turned to a bloody kiss Blood. Sorrow. Tears. More Blood. That kiss. That kiss. Ignition of bosom fire Innocently bloody The killer kiss... Releasing the libido power Like fire on a dry forest It burned recklessly Consuming vision and destiny. Whose fault? What happened? Before you land her that kiss bros Ask yourself sir. What do I want to achieve? Love or lust? Is Jehovah pleased? Apart from fleshly gratification, any other thing? Are you deriving some pleasure in it? Tell the truth now... Watch and pray. Don't kill that relationship. Keep the kiss Delay that TOUCH There is time for everything. Help her to help you Help him to help you He that thinks he stands... Take heed, you can fall You are flesh and blood. Don't tempt temptation. Waiting does not kill. Be strong in the Lord Watch it bros/Sis... #Copied

Good God! This is wonderful |
The power of salvation is hidden inside evangelism. Calvary is clearly visible only when a saved soul relates God's saving grace to an unsaved person. [Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.] Share the gospel as often as you can!!! 07038073522 |
The test is stereotyped: questions on arithmetic progression, mixing problems, differentiation and integration, etc for maths and electric circuits: resistors, capacitors, inductance, etc for engineering. There were also a couple of questions on power factor. I hope this helps |

Good morning everyone, I'm really happy over the way we've been trying to help ourselves on this platform. Its wonderful. But we can do better, people who wrote yesterday can share the questions they met (as much as they can remember) so that others can prepare better. We don't always get opportunities to help others so let's make use of the few we get. Please guys, try a little kindness... I know everyone is hussling for cash but ask yourself: if I don't share these questions with him because he didnt roger me, what do I really benefit? A SINGLE GOOD DEED IS BETTER THAN A THOUSAND WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

This snake probably killed a rat inside my house and instead of just moving away, it started trying to swallow the rat. My mom saw the struggling snake, quietly went to get kerosene and poured it on the snake which weakened it. The snake tried to escape but she matched on to its head and pressed it very hard, holding it down till we got a machete and cut its head to pieces. Greed kills, evil desire kills too. Thank God for the way it all turned out!

I really enjoyed my stay in CRS and now that its over there are some lessons I learnt from the service year that I will like to share with you all 1. The greatest asset of a man is God's presence 2. To know God is to want to know Him more 3. God's grace upon a man makes him excellent 4. God's grace is inside the individual and not in the environment 5. The love of God cannot be hidden or faked for long 6. Developing your decision making is developing your life 7. You are the one to determine the effect of hard times on your life 8. The purest reward of hard-work is fulfilment 9. Family is a treasure and solace 10. A true friend is a great gift 11. Relationships are very important 12. The best life is a life of love 13. To love is to give everything and expect nothing back 14. People need your being nice as well as your being right 15. Leadership is beneficial and meant for everyone 16. Specific environments magnify specific character traits in people 17. Talking and doing are two different things 18. Public honour is not always honestly earned 19. Most people are only after their own good 20. Ethnic behavioural tendencies are real Change and growth are tools God has put in all of us to make life work...put them to use! #Eke_Emmanuel_C. |
If you are looking for a crossless Christ you will end up carrying a Christless cross. |
Hi, No matter where you are in life, there’s always something new to learn or explore. So this year, try adding one of these four new activities to your routine. These new pursuits may help challenge your brain or contribute to a fuller, more rewarding life —and you might just discover something about yourself in the process. 1. Learn a new language Learning a new language may do much more than make your travels easier. Bilingualism requires the flexibility to switch between languages, and a 2010 study published in Language and Cognition found that bilinguals were also faster at switching between other types of tasks. This study adds to other research suggesting that bilinguals have better executive control, a combination of cognitive processes that help you make decisions, control impulses, and plan thoughtfully. 2. Pick up an instrument You don’t need to become a rock star, but spending even a small amount of time practicing music may help keep you sharp. In a study by researchers at the University of St. Andrews, amateur musicians performed better than non-musicians on simple mental tests. The amateurs tended to respond faster while staying just as accurate. Pick up a guitar, flute, or harmonica this year. 3. Do a good deed for someone else The more altruistic you are, the healthier you may be. In a 2013 study, teens who volunteered with children for 10 weeks had lower cholesterol and inflammation levels than their peers who didn’t volunteer. It didn’t seem to matter whether the volunteer work was sedentary or active, but the teens who reported greater changes in altruistic behavior after the study ended also experienced the biggest health benefits. So do something for others this year — oddly enough, you might also be helping yourself. 4. Go on an adventure Going on an adventure may physically change your brain. In a recent study, mice who boldly went forth and explored their environment grew more new neurons than their less adventurous companions —even though all the mice were genetically identical. While this study only examined mice, it shows a direct link between individual behavior and neuroplasticity, and may begin to explain how we develop individual personalities. Whether you travel to a country on your bucket list or find a spot in your city that you’ve never explored, take an adventure of your own. |
Two men planned to run away from the psychiatric hospital. They started planning and agreed that they will go to the gate, beat up the watchman, open the gate and run away. When they reached the gate, the watchman was not there and the gate was wide open. They turned to each other and said "shit! our plan has failed, lets go back, we will try again tomorrow." one word for them! |
Neuroplasticity: how the brain is capable of change Scientists have historically believed that once a person reaches adulthood, their cognitive abilities are immutable. But beginning in the early twentieth century, that theory has been contested by evidence suggesting that the brain’s abilities are in fact malleable and plastic. According to this principle of neuroplasticity, the brain is constantly changing in response to various experiences. New behaviors, new learnings, and even environmental changes or physical injuries may all stimulate the brain to create new neural pathways or reorganize existing ones, fundamentally altering how information is processed. Mapping changes in taxi drivers’ brains One of the most dramatic examples of neuroplasticity at work comes from a 2000 brain scan study on London taxi drivers (Maguire et al., 2000). In order to earn a license, London taxi drivers typically spend about two years learning to navigate the city’s serpentine streets. What mark, the study’s researchers wondered, did this long, rigorous period of training leave on taxi drivers’ brains? Under the scrutiny of fMRI scans, 16 male taxi drivers were revealed to have larger hippocampuses than a control group of 50 healthy males. And the longer the time spent as a taxi driver, the larger the hippocampus tended to be. As a brain area involved in memory and navigation, the hippocampus seemed to have changed in response to the taxi drivers’ experiences. Most instances of neuroplasticity-based changes in the brain are much more subtle. But in recent decades, it’s cases like that of the London taxi drivers that have inspired members of the scientific community to pursue the next logical step in research: rather than passively waiting to see how the brain might respond to circumstances, is it possible to direct that capacity for change, targeting improvements in specific abilities? |

START SMALL: A tiny habit is easier to stick to. Do you resolve to exercise more often this year? Start with just 10 pushups a day or a short jog around the neighborhood —something so quick that there’s no excuse not to do it. Once a habit begins to feel natural, increase the amount of time or effort you spend. FIT NEW HABITS TOGETHER WITH EXISTING HABITS: Choose a habit that’s already second nature, then schedule your new habit immediately after. Think about your own days: what existing habits can be extended or transformed? If you’ve resolved to read more, place a book next to your cup of morning coffee. If you intend to brush up on a new language, stick vocabulary cards into your gym bag and take advantage of that post-workout jolt of energy. Existing habits can be a seamless gateway to new activities. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT: You’ll probably need a few nudges before your resolution truly becomes second nature. Create checkpoints to help you stay on track: enlist a friend to keep you honest, set alarms throughout the day, or mark your successes on a calendar. The more regularly you practice your new activity, the more quickly it’ll become a part of your life. That’s it! Whether you want to learn a new language, exercise more, become a better cook, or even create more nairaland FP materials, the road to success is paved with small first steps. I can’t wait to be inspired by what you accomplish in 2014. Happy New Year. |
