Please i need advise on the possible problem with the vibration i am exriencing when i put on the AC in my honda car......it is usually strong when i am in traffic and generally on low fire.....i have tried increasing the fire and only reduced it back cos of some other issues....Also my mechanic have advised me to change my AC compressor which i spent money doing and still the problem persists...Any suggestions from fellow Nlanders or personnel familiar with this kind of issue? It will be appreciated..... |
It is a rather sad practise in nigeria even at the airport everybody asks for tips....if u want "grease" servise....i mean fast and easy attention u have to pay o....but our credibility has really taken a down turn as even my foreign colleagues here tease me with it...its so sad... |
By the way i forgot to mention...it was a 200 naira aboki ring...and she wore it with all her heart and even kept the faded ring till date until i was able to buy her a gold ring.... |
I proposed to my wife 2yrs before we got married....Then i had just concluded my NYSC,there was no job but i loved her and hoped for the best....that was a simple way to prove to her that i wanted to settle down with her...lo and behold just 8months after i got a job and after a year we got married.....and now i am doing very well working for an oil firem and she is enjoying the rewards of her wait.....So it really doesnt matter how long its just sinscerity of heart and ladies sure know when a guy has prospects and is sinscere...Lessons for ladies..... |
It will be really nice to know if we have an application for nairaland in the android market...I dont know if it already exists....so would like to know if one can download this application and access nairaland must easier and get/ post updates just like we do in facebook messenger, yahoo messenger and other android applications. If this is not available yet i think the owner of this site should seriously be considering it. Its much easier than going through the internet on our smart phone. Thanks ![]() |
mko abiola: But if I under go all dese courses u mention ,getting a job is it authomatic or am I so sure I will get any after d program@mko....nothing of real substance happen automatically...You just stand a huge chance of being employed...its a step in the right direction if thats your direction in the first place.....as u keep brooding over it God will respond to u.....so its not a matter of whether if u do the course u will get a job.....negative tots should not lead u in the path of inaction...no good thing comes so easy....May God help you..... |
scantee: well needless to ague with here, bt i can't stand that cage called offshore work. Bt mind you that, no matter how u make this offshore tins sound like heaven, ur package and ours can never be the same. I know what am talking about....@Scantee.....Yes u may be right....but it all depends on each individuals level, experience and age.....For a starter/young person i think working in the field should be what u should strive for.....for a young person making a salary of thrice govt minimum wage is considered a good feat .....as one grow older and become more experienced u can now resort to office work where ur remuneration negotiation will then be based on ur working experience........for me i prefer 28/28...i work 6months in a year and earn more salary than an average nigerian full staff oil worker working 12months in a year.... |
babaearly: @efe2luv@babaearly....It is more of experience my dear....and international certifications...if u are determined to be there u will have to pray to god to assist you...then can start from where u are....i for one as a graduate applied to an international oil servicing firm to work without being paid all to get experience in the job...i worked for good six months with they just giving me 10k for transport per month...i paid that price n guess what after 6months i was retained as a contract staff....n guess what after 6 months again i go another job with an international offshore servising firm as a staff.....determination is the key my dear.....taking actions no matter how minute they may seem towards your desire creat miracles....as for me in a space of one year i go a job/position that other guys who have been working for quite some time dont have... Its all determination. |
2/2 rotation is for local permanent positions....i am talking about international offshore working rotations where u do 28/28 or 35/35 or 8/4...thats where the cash is na...not 2 weeks in and two weeks out.....na ghana must go bag u dey carry go house after ur rotation...... |
If u notice oyibo people prefer to work contract jobs than being staffs.....so forget staff mata... |
why is it that when we talk about oil coys in 9ja the only ones that come to mind are SHEll.MOBIL, total ,lng, chevron...i know they are production coys...but when we want to talk about remunerations not only these popular coy pay well...oil servicing company and offshore construction coys give competitive packages too.. It may even suprise you to know that they pay higher than these production companies.....Also for the issue of contract staff n permanent staffs.....Internationally, contract staffs are paid better and higher remunerations than permanent staffs...we have people who go home for example in 9ja 500euros per day rate u can calculate that n see that people are paid salaries of 30 milliom naira or more in a year....shine your eyes it is true without mincing words.....i work offshore and i can confirm this to be true......on the other hand a permanent staff may not receive up to half of his yearly pay....contract staffing in 9ja is being abused by contractors who collect bulk of the money n chop the others....There are companies after paying u all these money gives u a fone for unlimited calling as u like and also open an a company personal account for u where they load it with minimum of 1000pound or so for company emergencies assigned to u..this is not part of your salary o.....guys things are happening in the oil/gas sector that if u hear more u will just be drooling......forget party n monthly food ...thats not the important thing..........Its fun working for oil servicing coys..esp the offshore company cos u dont go to work every morning and come back in the evening...u go offshores and when u are at home u have time for urself no work and your family...u can do whatever u like travel to which ever country u like and be free.....so leave SHELL, MOBIL...LNG...Or the others mata jare......LG.... |
I am currently working in an oil/gas firm in a particular career field of choice and i am thinking, which is much more valuable to employers aside from my working experience...Is it a professional certificate/Diploma or an Msc.....? Considering that one cannot leave a pid employment for school, distance learning seems to be the option but men i tell u its not really working for me right now...so am thinking Which is much more valuable for me a Internationally recognised professional diploma in my choosen career that i have the opportunity of attending classes or the distance learning Foreign Msc?.... Please honest and candid advise will be much appreciated.... |
