If an Atheist can prove it to me that this website came by chance or has no intelligent creator, I will convert to an atheist now now. As far as I know, even

a 'simple' living cell is more complex than this nairaland website thousand of us are all sharing ideas on. You know what I mean. Waiting,  smiley
SportsRe: Why Is The Press Relatively Silent On Siasia? by efeboy(m): 9:32pm On Oct 13, 2011
Look at Nigerians talking about contract, contract, contract. Is it that contract on paper that is our concern now or the eventual effect that destabilizing things

would have on our football (team) that is our problem. O boy we confuse for this country, everybody na im know book.
SportsRe: Siasia's Records-the Facts by efeboy(m): 9:04pm On Oct 13, 2011
lacidi:
Siasia is a youth coach who succeeded by playing old men against boys. Now that he is playing men against men, we have all seen the results.
•   Vs Sierra Leone: 2-1
•   Vs Ethiopia: 4-0
•   Vs Kenya: 3-0
•   Vs Argentina: 4-1
•   Vs Ethiopia: 2-2
•   Vs Madagascar: 2-0
•   Vs Argentina: 1-3
•   Vs Guinea: 2-2

When he was having all those high-scoring wins why didn't any single soul alarm us that Siasia had sent teams into relagation? No, rather it was all

praises and encouragement from the media for the man and his boys. Now he drew a vital game, and the talk around town is that he is a bad coach,

he once led 20 teams into relegation. My brothers, this spur-of-the-moment emotions dangerous ooh!! I am not saying that Siasia is bound to be eagles

coach, however this decisions we always take at the wrong time would always affect us badly.
SportsRe: Siasia's Records-the Facts by efeboy(m): 8:24pm On Oct 13, 2011
When Siasia was hired, even before he was hired, many people (at-least majority of the clueless journalist asking for his sack now) said we needed Siasia to

engage himself on a long-term project of building a super eagles team we can be proud of, in the future. In fact many agreed that we should not expect

immediate results now as it would naturally take some time before a rebuilding process would yield favorable results constantly.

More questions.

1. What happened to the long-term project we expected Siasia to work on? Or are we suffering from a short memory problem?

2. Do Nigerians really understand what these words - Long-term project, Rebuilding process - mean at all?

3. Did we ever consider the possibility of what has happened when we (or at-least the Nigerian media) were busy talking about long-term project?

4. Do Nigerians abhor the idea of enduring present circumstances for the reason of building for the future? Or is it just in Our nature to always

want and do anything for quick quick success.

More questions,
SportsRe: Siasia's Records-the Facts by efeboy(m): 7:59pm On Oct 13, 2011
It's very clear. We are a very confused people that allows spur-of-the-moment emotions to cloud our thinking. Worse yet, as a people we don't know what we

really want. Vvvvery sad indeed. sad

Questions:

1. Why did we sack Amodu that was always qualifying us for the nations cup and world cup, to hire Siasia?

2. What did we want when Nigerians clamoured for Siasia and he was hired?

3. Do we really understand the nature of the present situation of Our football?

I really hope the knowledgeable and politically aware class of Naija's youth keep on this good work for the next four years.

Keep monitoring the Jonathan and other elected thieves until they are forced to do at least one meaningful thing in the lives of Nigerians.

This is a serious matter although ladden with some very funny comments. Yaradua must have been very prudent to promise only those 7 pointless agenda.

This is the way our elected officials can be held accountable for the posts they occupy,  For all those that voted for GEJ's person and not his party, please note that all these promises were made by him and not his party, so he will be held accountable for all the successes and failure. We will keep this thread alive for the next three years.

So please let us do well to respect ourselves by leaving PDP out of anything that comes or doesn't come up in the next four years, OK.

When you grow up, finish school and get a job/start earning money, you will start paying taxes. When you start paying taxes, you will then obtain this same feeling of entitlement some of us who are your elders already feel.
Very appropriate answer to tutor the boy.  smiley

Maximip:
Even if he didn't make these promises, the people who voted for him would have still voted for him anyway.

Their only reason was "Lets give him a chance"
I will keep saying it : "If Nigeria fails today, then it is - PROBLEM OF THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE"
PoliticsRe: An Open Letter To President-Elect Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan by efeboy(m): 10:04pm On Apr 28, 2011
This would be the second time I am hearing some people (the first being a political analyst on Radio Nigeria) already giving excuses for Jonathan should in case

he fails to satisfy Nigerians.

If these over-sentimental people start giving Jonathan excuses even before he starts delivering on his RESPONSIBILITIES, then it is very obvious that

the problem of this country is not some group or some cabal but over-sentimental Nigerians.
PoliticsRe: Police Nab Vehicle With Over 100,000 Presidential Ballots by efeboy(m): 9:02pm On Apr 12, 2011
My heart bleeds to see how religious, tribalistic and sentimental this long awaited election has become.

Some few months ago, a reasonable amount of knowledgeable and politically aware persons were talking about the elections without any sentiments or religious

view attached to it. The guiding thought was that - this was the time for true change in the country. The general talk was about who the

MOST CAPABLE MAN FOR THE JOB was.

bababuff:
LOL

May be in the republic of Gkoko Haram.  grin
How come is it that some people are forgetting all this and bringing tribe and religion into this. Maybe this is showing that Nigerians are not really ready for the

change they really need.

I never wanted to comment on this issue before, but after enough reading of 'results' (though I have not confirmed them myself) and nairaland post, this is my

my humble and honest contribution.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Barcelona Vs Arsenal @ UCL: 3 - 1 (8th March 2011) by efeboy(m): 12:48am On Mar 09, 2011
Barcelona is the best football playing team in the world. I wanted to see them beat Arsenal in that manner, without some Agbaya refree trying to do

wetin dem no send am
.

To be honest, I don dey fear for barcelona oh. They might seem to be on a jolly ride this season but resilient teams are begining to expose their frailties.

Come out, and start your defending high up the pitch, I bet you are going to demystify the Barcelona team anyday anytime.
