Normally, this shouldn't take more than 12 hours to full, even 10 hours and some minutes is enough.

This is what I've realised is people mistake. People don't use the correct charger for this power bank. Although the charging speed is slow at 10Watt for a 27000mah battery.

But try buying an original 10watt charger, could be an Oraimo charger or even a better brand.

Positive Criticism..

1. Pages are too plain all the way to the Sign In window. Just dragged and dropped UI kits. No actual design.

2. Designs kick in after Sign In. Nice layout. Button sizes are bit too wide and basic. Style the buttons, customise them. They look very bootstrap

3. Play with gradients and add a bit of fun to your background. Don't keep it regular

4. Play with colors. Especially Pantone Web safe colours

You are gonna be very good I can already tell. You just need more work. Put in 6-8hrs a day.

I started with 9-16hrs. Lol. Sometimes 24hrs+. And I lost a lot of weight in the process eating quick food. That's how i usually learn something i am extremely desperate to learn.
Lock yourself indoors for days. And go at it.

It changed my perspective and the results today are amazing

I understand you. And this is because I used to think this way too, till I got better advice.

UX Design deals with branding too, and it's something you can learn on the get-go. You'd surely learn the principles of design too, colour, typography, contrast, proximity and all of that. Trying to know everything might just be overwhelming.

UX is all about solving problems, and coming up with solutions, and not just Figma and tools. You need to know why you are doing UX first, not just because it's trendy.

Coming from a graphics design background is sure a very good leverage, cos of the transferable skills, but if you're just starting out, start learning about UX straight up, inside UX, the more you know, the more you'd streamline your interests into either UI, visual design, interaction, research, writing, etc...

I have seen good graphic designers do very poorly in UX, cos they are two different things.

Of course, good graphics designers can do bad job. it's not a guarantee .. it's just an edge

You really don't need to learn anything about graphics design before you venture into UX. They are two different fields, and you should be able to tell the difference...

There are UX specific tools, AI and PS are just additions.

Having an Indepth understanding of them is good, but if you're doing UX, focus on improving your skills in UX.

So before you jump into figma, have a basic understanding of design, principles of design, colour, typography and all of that

you don't need to beg to differ actually cos we are still saying same thing..

I know graphics design is different field but it will only make things easier , the reason is mainly because of all those design principles. take for an example, branding, how color and typo is very important when creating a brand and designing for a brand.

A two week crash course on graphics design/ branding can rectify this very well ,now I'm not saying they won't learn this in Ux design, but Ux design is a broad discipline, so any tutorials on Ux design might not necessarily teach these principles in depth looking at the fact that it is just like what small fraction of Ux but also important.
What I've seen mostly is majority just want to jump into figma straight, I don't know if you have noticed this though.

And of course you know that it's Ui/Ux .. so Ui too is important .

whatever rocks anybody's boat though .

id advice, for anyone just starting out to go into ux design.

please before you jump into figma, learn a lil bit of graphics design /brand identity design first. work with PS, AI... things will be much more easier for you

Don't bother yourself,make do with what you have. You'd be using figma (an online tool) most of the time, so It won't require much processing power like it would be required if it was offline.

Use pending when you can get a better one coz at one point in time you might want jump in and out of photoshop, illustrator etc.

I have a question... How do you guys choose colours when creating a design. What are the steps you go through to it...

I'll try to keep it short as possible.

Depending on the brand you are working for, there's something called color psychology, you cant use red for a banking sector and expect people to trust you and like green now denotes life, fertility. etc

read on color psychology and how the color wheel operates, the complementary colors, analogous, triads, etc it will help you when you want to combine them.

first have a base color that defines the brand, then, have like two other colors that goes with it, could be triads. it will be much easier like that.

there will be a base color, a mid one and an accent color, for a start anyway.

then if the brands have their own color, good for you, just find colors that compliments it, you can use Adobe color (a site) to pick colors too.

i have the opportunity to do it now that i traveled to visit my family members, so I want to drop the phone here and travel back to my base, with this, there won't be any temptation of switching it on to check anything online.

logo design love just walks you through how some iconic logos were made and the thought process behind them.

there should be reason and purpose for everything of choice including font, color, design modes.
Logo is a form of branding ,when you understand the branding, you'd be able to make good decisions for your clients including font type, color, etc... but then most people learn it on the way sha but do not know it's a form of branding.
