Kindly select the first option in the column you selected 5yrs for, and leave only the 3yrs column along with your revealed 6666 scores. Then come back with your findings, if till world end ITA go reach your hand, make I wear clothes baff next year xmas.

So I was asked to update my baby's details (medical, passport and processing fee). Called prime medicals PH and was told they no longer process medicals for cic. This is a huge inconvenience for me. More expenses. Am just weak.

Pls which of the Lagos hospitals is cheaper for a new born.

You don't mean it? This is not good at all as the entire south south and south east region will now have to travel to Lagos or Abuja for medicals.
Please do well to either send a tweet/mail to CIC informing them of this development, in case they are not aware yet. So that they can appoint another hospital as soon as possible, perhaps this might work in your favor and eliminate the stress of traveling to Lagos with your new bundle of joy.

When we advice some, its not like we dont know the minimum requirements nah but we try to tell them what will give them edge and higher score. With ITA hovering around 441....what will 6666 in ELTS do for such person? Even with Masters degree.

I'm on same page with you on this, as I'm not on a parallel line with you. I only enlisted those factors as what can only exempt one from his alleged magic numbers. I got your back on this.

I may have a poor educational background, but I believe at least means the minimum you can have to stand a chance. But this is not the case. Many people would read that and get discouraged thinking that is the absolute minimum. For clarification, minimum IELTS score required for Canada Express Entry is 6 in all skills tested.

Bros, no one is questioning your educational background either is anyone saying the minimum language score has changed from CIC website. While, you are right about people taking the "magic numbers 8777" to be the minimum standard as against CIC recommendation. Don't fail to ask yourself what will the CLB 7 amount to if you give people that advice? Especially newbies. With overall band 6, Msc, 3yrs work experience, single and less than 30yrs, the CRS score is just 363; that won't do much in this race. Mind you, we are here to help ourselves by pointing the best direction to make you competitive for possible ITA.
So I hope you see why the 8777 is recommended to averagely maximized IELTS scores.

A similar situation is CIC recommendation for spouse to evaluate their credentials and take language test. But, not all PPR clinchers here did both, some did only one, while others didn't do any for their spouse, yet they get PPR. So my friend, you can now see the basis of that advice, it is to get a good CRS score in this hustle.

Bros, they are not saying it is a must if other factors are already to your advantage, like age, Msc degree, Canadian work experience/education and a sibling in Canada too. Those numbers are what you need to averagely maximize your IELTS, thus, put your CRS score in a well competitive position. Who says you can't also exceed those numbers? Of course it is doable. If you know you know.

This has a far reaching consequences on Niaja, this will now delay the rate at which we get ECA report ready, as this will greatly affect our new entrants into the pool, whether or not you aced IELTS. As we go come dey wait for ECA, as if we dey wait for government promises. Thus, reduce our(niaja) chances/numbers into the pool.
ECA don turn scares commondity, with WES + Confirmation + now WAEC, or other bodies of average of 3 months waiting period.

Last last Canada is not for the fainted heart. Both eyes on the bull's eye. Focus unwavering is the name of the game. Ride on people!

Wifey is at same stage of awaiting verification and she got it as explained above. I am tired of this dumb decision of theirs irrespective of their reasons. If it is because of the much requests on the football age thing, that is, those that have disparity with DOB on transcript vs their request, then let the decision to be applicable to such people only, instead of making it a general affair.
They will explain to me better at 3pm when I reach out to them. Fingers crossed!

The Hnd won't do any plus to her crs. In my opinion, I think she should focus on PNP route, since she doesn't have a spouse that can push her up. Let her get all her documents ready and vigorously pursue the available pnp she is eligible for.

Going by that 2yrs diploma gives 91points, while Bsc gives 112 for with spouse category, thus bringing two or more certificates to a total point of 203 as against 119 points when using the CRS tool calculator.
Please those who used two or more certificates in their EE profile, what point/score did this earn you? I need to know biko.

Wow! These statistics are very good for this journey as both of you got advantage of age, your French degree will do you good if you can converse in French and also take TEF along side IELTS for higher scores. Try and locate the crs simulator to see your present scores and think of how to boost it with additional degree if need be.

3.5 Milla is not beans, this is clear case of man's inhumanity to man. Sister, you have been defrauded by this so called agent, and he will still feast on you further if he/she is given the room.
Only God knows the details he used to secure your visitors visa, as it might be falsehood based. So, I will advice you to forget the idea of traveling with that visa and also forget the asylum road, because it is totally illegal and you will be rejected when you don't have strong proofs, and that is back to square zero.
Humble yourself and invest time to read through the road to PR here, part 1 -4 with special emphasis on famous page one. If you do, I am sure you would have covered at least 60-70% enroute to your PPR testimony. I wish you all the best in life devoid of such sad tale.

It seems there is discrepancy on educational points between EE pool and the CRS calculator. Using CRS tool, Bsc + diploma as two or more degrees will give 119 points, but on CIC site under FSWP, only 2yrs Diploma gives 19points, while only Bsc gives the usual 112points. So, will it be right to say 112 + 19 = 131 points is what will be earned with two or more certificates (Bsc + diploma) when entering the EE pool?
I also saw post here saying Masters gives additional 30+ points aside your Bsc points of 112 points, as against Crs tool that awards 126 points only to Masters degree.
I need clarification on this my people.
NB: It is married status for the above scenarios.
