the problem with people who think they know everything is that they don't know; that they no nothing. You have zero military training yet you know how it should be done. You know how they should engage in fire fights and everything all from watching movies and YouTube videos.

Na over sabi they worry you.

PoliticsUS Pro-gay Group Infiltrates Nigerian Civil Society - Onwubiko by EFX001(op): 3:25pm On Jul 05, 2015
The Human Right Writers Association of
Nigeria (HURIWA)has raised alarm over what
it called the infiltration of Nigerian Civil
Society by some American group to mount a
concerted campaign against government to
repeal the anti gay law in the country.
Speaking to our reporter at the weekend, its
National Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel
Onwubiko, said HURIWA has been
approached severally to accept a monetary
offer to join the pro gay campaign targeted
at Nigeria. “In recent time, within this week,
they made contacts with us. They gave us
the assurance that there is a funding package
if we agree to sign on to a well coordinated
campaign for the Nigerian government to
repeal the extant anti same sex marriage Act
passed and signed into law by the immediate
past administration of former president
Goodluck Jonathan,” Onwubiko said.
He continued that there was a global
campaign that specifically targeted Nigeria.
He said “The plot is beginning to manifest .
The methodology employed by the
campaigners for what they called the LGBT
right for Lesbians, Bisexuals and
Homosexuals came like the western
missionaries. But unfortunately many
Nigerians are not aware of this.”
Onwubiko, who is a former Federal
Commissioner of the Nigerian National
Human Rights Commission (NHRC), added
that a meeting was called where they made
monetary proposal to HURIWA. He stated
that “Their approach took us by surprise. I
was there when some proposals involving a
huge sum of money were made. They are
willing to wave off some conditions for
accessing the funds for us to join the
campaign to undermine Nigerian
understanding of gay marriage as a new
western culture that we must accept. They
are willing to give us as much as 15,000
dollars to embark on a campaign to pressure
Nigerian government to repeal the law that
prohibits same sex relationship”
He said HURIWA was raising the alarm so
that Nigerians should be aware of the well
structured campaign on ground by the pro
gay campaigners. “Our President will be
meeting with the US president soon, it is
possible that Obama will ask him to abrogate
the law against gay marriage in Nigeria, ” he
said.
The National Coordinator of HURIWA said he
had approached some respected church
leaders in the country but it appears this
was not a major problem for them. “What
we are doing should have come from the
religious leaders and traditional institutions
because the attack is fundamentally targeted
at weakening our traditional understanding of
marriage and to make Nigeria become
excessively lose and reckless in terms of
sexuality and other things that has to do with
man and woman relationship. This is a very
serious moral question which we must
tackle,” he said.

BCraig: As if tribalism is not rampant in Naai-geria?

As if I'm the only person who calls others monkeys here?

The only thing that upsets you are the facts that I dish out on a daily basis, which no one can deny, by the way.

Spare me the race card. It wont work. If you think like a monkey, you will be called a monkey by me.
Tribalism is indeed rampant in Nigeria but we are individuals and calling a human a monkey is not tribal but racist. We do not need to use such derogatory terms to make our point. If everyone uses it don't you think you should hold on to your class while making your point? Well, i forgot, you have none. I will not bring myself down to your classless and tasteless level. Well, such is common where you are from so yeah, all your money and good education cant buy class. Enough said!

Nawah! For una! So, i that whole article thats all you dunce could pick up? Our military chiefs are tired of the poor substandard equipment being bought by the defense minstry. Imagine civilians that know nothing about army requirement, tanks, kits etc are buying trash for the militry to use in combat. This is an eye opner, it shows why the navy has no good vessesl, why the air force has chinco jets and why the army are fighting boko haram with toyota hilux instead of MRAPs. Soilders keep dying in combat with hilux that has no armor protection! Shame! They have had enough, the procurement of the MOD office has to be probed!

Madam might have gotten her statistics wrong. But she is right on the facts. A huge percentage on Nigerians are less corrupt. The smally minority, the ruling class (the connected few) are the corrput ones destroying the country. So, i think she has the point there but the numbers where someworth exagrated. To add, i think she has nothing to do with Alams pardon and hence cannot comment on it. The buck of the nonsensical pardon stops with the Commander in chief (you all know his name) He made a mokery of the Nigerian state and he alone should answer for it!

A QUOTE FROM EX SANDF COMMANDER EeBEN BARLOW (PLEASE GOOGLE FOR MORE ON MR EEBEN)

Unfortunately, South Africa like many African countries, accepted the “free” advice that was given by foreign military advisors and governments. One of the “suggestions” was that the new SANDF (it is no longer the SADF) should purge all those in combat units that “posed a threat of conducting a coup”. The end result is that many soldiers, black, white and coloured were “retrenched” leaving the new SANDF with a very limited pool of knowledge. Even sadder still is that a weakened SANDF has no ability to project any reasonable amount of force – anywhere.

The old SADF was, despite its antagonists, not really a political machine and the idea of staging a “coup” was never really on the cards as it saw itself as an instrument of the state. Had it wanted to conduct a coup, of course it could have done so – but it didn’t even consider that an option.

Those of us who love our country and our continent are extremely concerned at what we see and read.

Sadly, the merits of affirmative action are no longer really seen in the SANDF or the defence industry. What army in the world has private soldiers in their 40s and 50s? Our defence industry was sold to those who advised that we didn’t need it. Our technology and intellectual property was likewise sold for a nickel and a dime. The once-mighty ARMSCOR is now a financially-challenged DENEL. And, to crown it all, we ended up buying equipment (again on advice of…) that we really did not need.

Many of our naval vessels are now in dry-dock and no longer seaworthy. Our air force is likewise not too operational.

To me this is not a black and white thing but rather an unintended consequence of poor advice that was heeded. I find that both disturbing and sad. That is my opinion…

Rgds,

Eeben

I GUESS THIS SETTLES IT!

its like you guys are naturally programmed to be negative. Instead of supporting your troops going into combat like other Nigerians at the beegeagle forum are doing, a lot of empty vessels choose to critisize blindly. No matter how well equiped you are technologically, you cannot fight with an empty stomach. A well fed soilder is a happy and motivated soilder. Our heroes are going into combat. A lot of them will not make it back and all you guys can do is laugh at the fact that they are loading their food. Should they go hungry to mali? The fact that they are soilder doesnt mean they dont eat. They are human like us as well. SUPPORT YOUR TROOPS AND STOP THE CRITISIZM!!!!
