Blazing99:
The UN is only going to make the situation worse. Ghadaffi's trying to put his nation under control. He is not killing civillians, he is killing the rebels. If u take up a gun and fight against any government, u're like commiting suicide. If he was massacring his people how come it's less than 2000 dead so far. Now the UN supported by the world's superpowers now invovle themselves in this conflict that could worsen the civil war that is almost over.

I am not a Ghadaffi supporter, but I have a conscience to differentiate good from evil. If Ghadaffi was a madman, the west termed him to be why did he abandon a $500 million nuclear project for peace in Libya. He's got his problems but his country is far better than 75% of all African countries. Would a mad mothafucka achieve this.

The UN's act is killing civillians and is therefore no better. I hope Saif, Ghadaffi's first son, convinces his father to give in. These counties are far more powerful than Libya

Supporting UN is being dumb and accepting whatever the world powers say and letting them give you a conscience. Diplomacy MUST be engaged to ease this issue.
Diplomacy must be engaged true

[size=13pt]How many silly, sexual, frat boy jokes does it take to fill a 2-hour movie? That must have been the question on the minds of the makers of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin." With the exception of the chest-waxing scene (which seemed fresh and genuine, or genuinely painful), this unfunny, disturbing film should have been left on the cutting room floor or, perhaps, as a adjunct to the next "Porky's" movie. It was repetitive, predictable, and just plain dumb. This movie had a novel premise; unfortunately, it was lost in all the pubescent humor.

Shame on the reviewers who sang this film's praises and conned me into renting this!  lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

oh come on take a chill pill yeah it was predictable and all maybe it is not a movie u will see twice

denitro:
The African Union's panel on Libya Sunday called for an "immediate stop" to all attacks after the United States,
France and Britain launched military action against Moamer Kadhafi's forces.

It underscored the need for "necessary political reforms to eliminate the causes of the present crisis" but at the same time called for "restraint" from the international community to avoid "serious humanitarian consequences."
The panel also announced a meeting in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on March 25, along with representatives from the Arab League, the Organisation of Islamic Conference, the European Union and the United Nations to "put in place a mechanism for consultation and concerted action" to resolve the Libyan crisis.
The AU committee on Libya is composed of five African heads of state. But the Nouakchott meeting was only attended by the presidents of Mauritania, Mali and Congo. South Africa and Uganda were represented by ministers.

The declaration said its authors felt inspired by Kadhafi's "vision for a strong and united Africa."
"The AU as an organisation has benefited significantly from Kadhafi's wealth," said Fred Golooba Mutebi of the Institute of Social Research at Kampala's Makerere University.

The African Union should demand an "immediate halt" of the Somalian pirates and the atrocities taking place
in most of their Countries, what a joke, "African Union".
Tell them to go @#$% themselves!
Cant wait to see where all this is going

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Pledges To Establish Airports In 36 States by eghost247(m): 4:57pm On Mar 19, 2011
yeswecan:
Why do we need airport in 36 states?  why build an airport where there are no potential air travelers  - Lagos international airport is the worst i have employed thus far and Jonathan talks about building 36 new ones. .  In my opinion this kind of talk mirrors the main issue with the country today - we build without good foundation - roads that needs renovation in 2 yrs - schools that won't function properly -  who are we deceiving? It is better to build one good road than 100 bad ones - we do things for people's approval not necessarily because it is right.

Jonathan is totally uninformed about what is going on - as much as i like his humble nature, i do not see any special qualities in him - his rhetoric has been itching so far. .
Potential travellers now ur wrong about that one bro

It's only in Nigeria you'll see a man who looted $8 million from Saigem ID card project, $16 billion from PHCN, $350 million the day before he vacated presidential office, converted federal government property (Ota farms a.k.a OFN a.k.a Operation Feed the Nation) to his personal property, orchestrated the worst rigging in Nigeria's history and much much much more. . .pointing at the toothpick in another man's eyes whereas, there is an iroko tree stuck not only in his two eyes but the tree is growing right through him.
