A vote for buhari will divide Nigeria. The north should not be greedy. Breaking d country is for buhari to win. God forbid. VOTE PDP VOTE JONATHAN.
Is that new PDP's campaign scaremongering. Don't worry Buhari has an antidote for that. You will be amazed.

Some people have no idea what Buhari faces if he is mistakenly elected.

I can say it on good ground that it will mark the end of this useless contraption called Nigeria. The parasitic North and some of their slaves will be in for a long thing.

Una go know say BokoHaram dey learn by that time, Go ask Obasanjo and Yar Adua.
If you imply militancy, then you really don't know Buhari and that strength of the Nigeria Nation.

When Buhari assume office, governance and development will commence. If anybody wants to convert his village or community to a war zone, then we will be there to fight it. When you get tired, Buhari will commence the needed development to that same community.

God bless Nigeria.

Your explanation on resource control is wrong. Resource Control is not the same as restructuring of our Federalism.
What you spoke about is restructure of Federalism.
However, even at that, Buhari has never at any time make commitment to what you wrote. And APC has never speak about convening Sovereign National Conference so don't misinform people. Stick to what you hear from Buhari and not some concocted opinion.
What is True Federalism if it does not include Economical and Power restructuring? Anyway the National Assembly will have a handful.

Sai Buhari.
Politics › Re: Campaign Managers Of A Major Political Party Passed My Article As Theirs - HELP! by egift(m): 4:42pm On Mar 22, 2015
faith405:
Helpful, thanks. When I was there, we disseminated articles under the company's letter head but with the name of writers printed on the articles. The employment contract is not really vocal on this - somewhat silent, although it says anything done with company resources belongs to the company. I think this is where my case loses some weight.

Anyway, to be frank, I would have been happier if I was credited in the party's write up because as things stand now, the campaign people have stolen my ideas and mus have earned millions doing this.. As they failed to mention my name, I was hoping I could at least get some sort of financial compensation. But again, the company I worked for could well say it owns anything done under its roof with its resources.

I don't want to drag myself into politics, but I also believe intellectual laziness should have no place among affiliates of any reasonable political party, not to talk about a major one at that..
Base on the highlighted portions, below are my recommendation:
1. Contact your former employer and review his response to your request.
2. Write the Political party (use the platform the article was published) to submit your request. Do threaten. Else they will be defensive.
3. Except those you hold in confidence, don't ever disclose specifics with anyone. Their opponents will like to milk your story to the last drop, while that party will try to soil you as much as they can.

But if you do not care about the morality, the other opportunity is to sell your story to another media house or the opponent political political party for a fee. (But just know it may be rowdy).

The choice is yours.

Cheers!

But is it not true. You can draw lines all you like but that is the summary of Nigeria. Politics has never been about good governance.
The reelection campaign of Jonathan should be a review of what he has done for the last 5yrs and his plans for the next 4yrs. Rather than Shadow-Chasing and Fabricated Lies to cover his Failures.

Nigerians can see through him and we are voting him out. Sai Buhari.

Thanks, that's exactly my point!! This is why I ask whether to contact former CEO.
First you really need to review the employment document you had with the media firm to determine if the said article is yours of belongs to your employer. For instance, when you were there, did you have the right to share articles you wrote for them with other establishments?

The the other thing is what do you want from all this? To have your name mentioned or to get paid?

Finally, can you let it go and forget it? Knowing the first issue I mentioned will determined who you are to deal with (Your Former Employer OR the party that republished your article).

NOTE: In all you do, don't be a pawn in Nigerian politics and don't expose yourself to Law-suits and ridicule.

Cheers!

If what you say about Buhari wishing to streamline the government is true then I hope that he wins - the primary problem that Nigeria has is that different states are at different stages of development, the size of the Federal government makes it easier for some to be held back by others.

Do you have links regarding Buhari's statement on the Federal government?

My claim is really true. I've been asking people whether to first contact the MD of the company I once worked for, where the report was written, before taking any legal action.
And if say you worked with a media house that first published that article, you will also have to review your contract with them to know if what you wrote during the time of yous stay is yours or theirs.

Cheers!

If I do that, they will remove it from their website. That's why I'm not specific about the party. Are you a lawyer?
Write them. Don't be shy, be specific in stating what you want. Don't be greedy. Include proof you were the original author. Take a complete screen shot of the content on their website.

Apart of the from the remaining bundle of dollars that Nigerians want to snatch from Jonathan and few others who fear he may undermine their years of career in civil service, by now, Jonathan would have been standing alone.

Once Buhari is declared winner, people will be avoiding Jonathan recommending or endorsing them for anything, because that will bring badluck to whatever you are pursuing.

Jonathan's next best friends are Lawyers as they battle to keep him out of jail. Also Accountants will be his best pals as they work even hard to bury all the loots in some fancy Statistical Tables.

Ex-Presido, safe journey back to Bayelsa. You do well grin grin grin

PDP are now into Chasing Shadow and Caricatures just because failure is slapping Jonathan down to Bayelsa.

They keep repeating one mistake and expect a different result. Attacks on Buhari, his family and those around him will not get Jonathan a single new vote. Rather it will make Buhari more popular and get him more votes. PDP really have no idea at all, Kontinew!

This Change is Unstoppable. Sai Buhari.

Truckpusher:
And What's wrong in agitating for self determination and resource control if you truly believe in justice and equality ?
On resource control: Buhari have consistently said the more Federal Powers in Abuja should be seeded to States (Jonathan have never said it, not even passively). Buhari is a big proponent of having Federal, State and Community Police with varying degree of Jurisdictions. The Penal Code and Police Act will be streamlined to accommodate such restructuring. (It is not in Jonathan's purview). Buhari has consistently stated that ND region needs clean-up and we should refine locally to satisfy local consumption of petroleum products. He promised his administration will build 4 new refineries and revamp the existing ones.

On Self Determination: While every human has the right to do whatever he likes, it does not change the fact that it is a treasonable offense in Nigeria to try splitting this nation. Today in Enugu, under Jonathan, some members of Biafra Zionist Group are detained and on trial. During the civil war, over 2million Ndigbo died (I also lost a sister in that war). So instead of beating up your rusty chest and threatening to sink Nigeria, how about we spend that energy empowering Nigerians, proving good governance and build a peaceful society?

While this election should have been a time to Nigeria to ask the candidates to outline and explain their plans moving forward, Jonathan and his PDP believe the best thing is to attack the person of Buhari. Spend billions smearing his name. Emptying the content of his Military records. Demonizing him, redefining him and misrepresenting the truth about his person.

Am glad APC has maintained and issue-based campaign, while the Jonathan has executed the worst hate campaign in the history of Nigeria against a poltical opponent.

Nigerians cannot reward such. We refuse to be an appendage of Failure, just so that Jim Agbaje and co will not ask their boys to sabotage Nigeria's Economy. #TeamChange.

A Buhari's Presidency is a victory for Democracy. A vote for Buhari will usher in a New Nigeria that will tame Corruption, sanitize the system and bring out the finest creativity of Nigerians.

Those who are looting Nigeria and their Agents are busy attack him at all front to get Nigerians to reelect Corruption. This election is beyond GMB vs GEJ. It is a peace full revolution for Nigerians to defeat the Cabals and their stooge in power.

You're a mad man but let me remind you that this ungrateful nation will not use a drop from the Niger Delta people's God given wealth to run your feudal North and all the other parasitic region.

The Niger Delta would become a war zone with your economy on a life support.

Go figure.
Jonathan's Presidency is not a payment to South-South. The Presidency is one that any Nigerian can contest.

While you keep fanning your divisive politics, don't ever forget that Nigerians are voting out Jonathan because he failed and has nothing to do with him being from SS. It is only a separatist like you who hate the Nigerian Nation will conjugate such madness.

Nigerians will elect their a President on March 28 and Nigeria will continue in peace as one as we all work towards building a better society for everyone.

But there lies the problem!

Why do Nigerians have to go to a website to know what Buhari's policies are and yet he has been running for President for 12years now
But his party keep discussing all of those in all their campaign outings.

The only place left to discuss them is in the debate, but the organizers are compromised and have not hidden their disdain for Buhari. So instead going their for a shouting match and joining their shadow-chasing, Buhari and his party has opted to engage the voters directly. It may not be the best, but it is a wise decision.
