why is it that you guys never mention my name amongst APC supporters? do I have to spell it out to you that i am also a MAJOR APC NAIRALANDER...I really really am becoming sick of this..this is not the first time God Damn It.

it's not like anyone wants to be paid or recognized..but if you must do so, then be fair..Gosh
Sorry. I have always enjoy all your posts. I usually do post names like that.

Here is an idea:
When you create a new topic, copy all those names, add yours and paste them, when you do that often, your own copy may be used by anyone on Nairaland. Here is why I say so, most of the names there were not entered individually when that comment was made - mostly it was copied somewhere.

But all the same, I love all your post - may your desire to see a developed and functional Nigeria be achieved. Cheers!

Politics › Re: Please,i Want To Know The Achievements Of General Buhari When He Was A President by egift(m): 4:59pm On Feb 03, 2015
sapientia:
Please, My dear supporters of Gen Buhari, as a Nigerian, I respect the fact that you are free independent beings that have the right to make any choice you want.

Having said this, i need you to understand that my question is borne out of genuine desire to know the reasons behind your stances.

Please, what were the achievements of Gen Buhari when he was head of state?

I believe that if he did it before, he can do it again.

But he if didn't do it before, i doubt if he will ever do it now.

Am just looking for proof to support the great amiable General.
- Buhari fought the massive corruption that was in government then like we have in Jonathan's today to a standstill.
- He reduced inflation.
- He did not go borrowing to pay salaries like Jonathan, despite austerity measures in place. Even refused IMF loans.
- And many others.

When he was in charge of NNPC, he played a very important role for the establishment of 3 of Nigeria's existing 4 refineries (although he was not the head of State then).

He led Nigerian soldiers to repel Cameroonian soldiers when they invaded Cross River State.
When Chadian army invaded parts of Northern Nigeria, Buhari personally led the soldiers that chased them back, right deep into their country.
When a Religious Sect (like our Boko of today) came up, Buhari personally led the fight that defeated them.

As head of PTDF, he performed so well that till date, it is the most successful Nigerian Government Agency of all Time. It was even dubbed "Alternative Government" as it was doing most of the things the government provides. Note that Jonathan's SURE-P was modeled after it.

The good part of Buhari's come-back include to:
1. Clean Up the way Government is run,
2. Terminate corruption,
3. Constitute a competent Economic Team to revamp and diversify our Economy to positively impact the common man,
4. Defeat Boko Haram and provide security. He will also review/restructure the Nigerian Security Apparatus and Law-Enforcement Agencies to function better.
5. Revive, Boost and Develop Health, Education, Housing, Agriculture, Technology and other sectors to work better. He has promised to get Civil Service back to its glory.
6. Others include Developing a comprehensive Social Security programme for every Nigerian, financial support for Nigerians with business ideas, Job creation, and many others.

Some Agents of Lies were here telling us how Buhari will shut down Nairaland, I just laughed. Nairaland is Nigeria's number one social media - like everything Nigerian, a Buhari's administration will support it in anyway required.

Buhari will run a very vibrant, interactive and youth-oriented administration. Change is here to stay. Sai Buhari.

Like Chief Nanga, the corrupt politician in Achebe’s Things Fall Apart, PDP politicians have taken too much for the owner to see.
$49 billion, $20 billion, $10.8 billon (from NNPC), N1.7 trillion (Illegal Subsidy payments), N21 billion (illegal donation), N10 billion (Allison's illegal flights), $49 billion per yr (AU figure of Nigeria's loot under Jonathan), and many other figures are now trademarks of Jonathan looting spree.

As a professorial colleague put it recently, what are regarded as Jonathan’s achievements lie squarely within the normal run of governmental duties. In this thinking, there is nothing transformational about what he has done.
This is exactly what everyone is saying. Vote for Change. Sai Buhari.

Let him keep dodging the debates and continue with his monologue of town hall meetings, his eyes will be cleared come on the 14th
Even your fellow comrade Barcanista has voiced his opposition against Buhari shunning the debates
We all want Buhari to attend so that he will drag JonaSambo through the mud. But with limited time to election and more voters to meet face-to-face, Buhari is utilizing time efficiently and meeting directly to voters, while Jonathan in empty stadiums begging for Jonathan. Politics › Jonathan Begging Buhari For Debate by egift(op): 1:45pm On Feb 03, 2015
All the handlers of Jonathan and his failed re-election bid, come out daily to beg Buhari for Special Appearance. If they are not peddling one rumour, they will try to cajole him - all in a plot to get him to feature in their charade.

While there is nothing wrong in attending the Debates, the fact remains that it is Jonathan that needs it, not Buhari. Gen. Buhari, Osinbajo and the entire APC Team have been engaging Nigerians directly. Outlining and emphasizing their plans and programmes to the Nigerian masses. Also from one gathering to the other, Buhari have been taking questions and answering the voters directly.

There is nothing to compare between them; everyone know Jonathan's failures and can feel the impact of the massive looting Jonathan is presiding over. We want Change for a better and more focused leadership.

Buhari is riding on a bright light of issue-based campaign, he is not interested in sharing it with Jonathan and his candles. Stop begging for Debate and start packing your load. The Time is Up.

Sai Buhari/Osinbajo. God bless Nigeria.

Mike don't tell me you are supporting to eat the N32 Billion and clean mouth? And you are not closer to Jonathan than Frank. As a Federal Commissioner in the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission - he is in position to know what he is saying.

Jonathan should refund the money - Jail or No Jail, I don't care just refund the money.
