Obago!!! What Mazi Okechukwu is saying now is what I have stated over and over here.

I told those miscreants that their quest for a Caveland in Ala Igbo is a conjecture of a minority few (old men whose only shot at relevance is lame war tales and some few youths who have no ideas what happening during the last civil war).

What we want is the development and empowerment of the South East. Those who want war and destruction of the East can join Nnamdi Kanu in London.
PoliticsRe: Resign Now, Labour Unions Tell Saraki by egift(m): 4:51am On Sep 27, 2015
Saraki has no business legislating for Nigerians from the docks. He resign, hire more lawyers and defend his case. Dragging the Red Chamber to shame and ridicule for his greedy quest to cling to power is unacceptable.

Nigerian politicians must learn now that "one day their "thiefry" will come to light.

egift, I disagree with you that Saraki will swiftly pass the nominees to stay as president. If that is the reason Buhari is intimidating Saraki, then he has failed. People like Zakari of Inec and Fowler of FIRS should not just appear on the list because we Nigerians already detaste them for what they are.
@Bold:
It is only some minority PDP TANoids that "detaste" them. Is that why there are all these paranoids in tarnishing people's name so that they will be "detasted"? It is like when if Amaechi makes the list and PDP start kicking because they "detaste" the guy for working against the re-election of Jonathan.

As I stated earlier, Saraki cannot stop Buhari's nominations for personal and political reasons. Any day he becomes a significant clog in our wheel of progress, Nigerians will remind him that our collective well-being is far superior to his greedy quest and dubious deals with the PDP.

Yinmu. Na hot air you dey blow jo. Who will reject the nominees? Saraki or his PDP gang? How many are they in the Senate? Quote me: No APC Senator (besides Saraki) will be a party to the rejection of any nominee of the President and survive it politically. Quit fooling yourself old man. Saraki cannot singlehandedly reject any nominee of the presidents coz he lacks the numbers to do so, especially since he's depending on his minority PDP Senators. If he's expecting APC senators to collabo with him this time around he's a joker, just as you are. cheesy
Don't mind him.

Address the issue at hand. Stop being evasive.

Last time I checked, APC is still playing full-time opposition.
According to you, if APC is both the Ruling and Main Opposition Party in Nigeria presently - that means you also agree with us, PDP is dead and forgotten less that 4 months after being kicked out.

If the Senate finds any SW ministerial nominee unworthy and rejects him, what business of Saraki is that? For example the acting FIRS boss who put a Fake PHD on his CV,do you expect the Senate to confirm him?
My brother, am sure you read the highlighted text from my original post below. Saraki will not bite, else Nigerians will remind him we kicked out a Seating President and came out victorious.

My take is that Saraki and his gang can do nothing to frustrate President Buhari's nominations more than due diligence within the purview of their constitutional mandate.

We are in democracy my friend.

Common sense demand due process and chronology to avoid evil insinuations.

You cant jump steps to probe me if you leave others, this will amount to political vendetta as posited by Tinubu's lawyer during his CCT case.

"... I was being prosecuted because I am the leader of opposition" - Ahmed Tinubu.
Your insinuations and innuendos is insignificant. What is important is that those being prosecuted and put in jail, committed the crimes they were accused of. Buhari is not into Chronographs or a Genealogist. It is as many criminals as possible. That is the Change we voted for. Don't forget you did not vote for the this Change - therefore your reservations had been noted long ago. So stop over repetition. grin grin grin

If the evidence being used against the Senate President is still VERY hot after 12 years (2003-2015)

Then I don't understand what you mean by 'COLD'
Cold or not, the fact is the Buhari administration's effort is to setup a system that prosecutes all cases of corruption (irrespective of who you are). Once your case is on, you get your lawyer and defend yourself.

So your effort of trying dictate get prosecuted first and the sequence of who should be next, is completely irrelevant.

We need it to be re-open in chronological order..

Saraki

No. By then, the evidence against GEJ would have gone cold. BTW, the court and anti-corruption agencies are there for you to institute any criminal case against anyone you believe to have looted Nigeria (be them in APC or PDP).

We want the case file of everyone to be re-open and re-investigated until there is nothing else to find in their cardboard. Be you in APC or PDP, it does not matter. What is important is that the politicians are made to be accountable for their actions and crime.

Saraki should get his laws and get the best defense possible. If found wanting, he should bear his cross and keep the crocodile tears to himself.

PoliticsSaraki Vs Buhari's Ministerial Nominations by egift(op): 1:41pm On Sep 26, 2015
Following the current travails of Saraki in the Code of Conduct Tribunal, I have heard some folks brag how Saraki and those that support him in the Red Chamber, will use it as an opportunity to fight back at President Buhari for not intervening to protect him from prosecution and also against the APC leadership for being poised to replace him.

My take is that Saraki and his gang can do nothing to frustrate President Buhari's nominations more than due diligence within the purview of their constitutional mandate. In fact, any day Saraki becomes a stumbling block to the wheel of governance in Nigeria, he will understand that the stoning in Kwara is insignificant compared to what the Nigeria masses will do to him.

As it stands now, Saraki will pass any law and nominations of President Buhari very swiftly in a desperate efforts to stay afloat and seek favour from the Presidency and Nigerians in general.

By now most Nigeria politicians should have realied that our collective development in Nigeria is far more important and beyond the greedy quest of people like Saraki and his crew, in hiding their past illegalities and cling on to power at the expense of everyone else. Any day he constitute himself a nuisance, he will be dealt with accordingly.

The best thing Saraki can do now is to hire more lawyers to pursue his case at the CCT. Optionally, he can honorably step aside in order not to soil the image of the Upper Chamber as Nigerians cannot afford laws made from the Docks by alleged criminal.

As Nigerians look forward to the President Ministerial List that will be announced in the next few days, we all believe that the gains and platforms the President has laboured to put in place in the last 3 months, will be improved upon with accelerated tempo.

God bless Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: US House Speaker Resigns After Pope's Visit by egift(m): 6:42am On Sep 26, 2015
The Tea Party repubs and their wailing crew in the RNC want to defund critical social services unless the Obama administration gives them the funding they want in the next debt-ceiling fight at the end of this year.

So Speaker John is pulling a fast one with this announcement - it will help him resign after 25yrs in congress, team up with the Democrats to deliver the need votes and distract the Republicans by keeping them busy on the fight for Speaker-ship, save these welfare programmes and move on with his life.

While I may disagree with many John's stand on policies, I applaud his efforts to ensure that Republicans do not hold the economy hostage and ground it to a halt just to please the Wailing Tea Party supporters.

This democracy as being managed by APC calls for caution.
Saraki stole, Yes. But why go thru the back door to unseat him. Why not wait and for their politicized CCT to use the legal means to unseat him or better still lobby more senators to get the required two third for his impeachment.
I hear elrufai calls the shots in the executive while thief nubu does the same in the party. If Buhari is innocent of all these recent developments with saraki, then the country is yet again on a rudderless ship.
Even when you know he stole, you are still defending him and helping hide. Let him face justice. He has been enjoying his loots, time for payback.

For all I care, saraki is being persecuted by tinubu and his cohorts and if buhari doesnt take time, tinubu will jeopardise his efforts to effect true change.it is a known fact that saraki opposed tinubu's earlier plan to be buharis running mate which saraki advised against a muslim/muslim ticket. Tinubu assets I guess may never even be finished by a twenty generation of tinubu family.

'disgracing your life' is a rather strong line.....#JustSaying

Although, i've never been of the opinion that education is a yardstick for judgement for good leadership because one of if not the most educated president in the person of robert mugabe is not something to discuss.

BUT, while trying to make a point, i'd use comparisons that make sense instead comparing a collin powell with not just a BS but also a masters(note that i did not say equivalent) degree holder.

Except you mean the collin powell 'footballer'.

But still, these persons are not presidents and thats my point. Like i said, 'COULD PLATO BE RIGHT??' with special reference to GEJ and PMB for intelligent comparison.

I never claim to be right in all my actions, i KNOW NOTHING. Like a good friend says, 'we learn everyday'......and yea i do but i wouldn't appreciate insults while pointing out something to me.

Thanks.
Buhari's highest academic level is Master Degree from the US War College. It is therefore mischievous for the OP to keep flying the dubious lies and insults paraded by the PDP against Buhari.

President Buhari attend and passed out from the US War College. That Military qualification is equal to Masters Degree. Collin Powell and many other renown officers around the wold attended the same school.

Also on July 21, 2015, the firm obtained another interim injunction by Justice Mohammed Idris stopping the plan by SEC to hear the various petitions against it.

Prof Itself Sagay Committee and National Judicial Council should note and investigate these kinds of Judges
I have a hunch that it's the same Mohammed family.
This Judge must be very rich considering the "unique" critical last-minute legal protection he provides for desperate corrupt politicians. NJC should look into it before other judges will embrace such business scheme.
