APC won the Leadership of the National Assembly. Nigerians are celebrating. While TANiods are crying and spinning the coven of their wizardry.

What a great day in Nigeria. Sai Buhari all the way!

Here is another TANiod dancing on APC victory in the National Assembly.

Buhari is the leader of Nigeria, wile Tinubu is one of the leaders of APC. TANiods and ex-con Bode George should get that into their brain.
PoliticsRe: Is Buhari Responsible For The Outcome Of The Nat. Assembly Leadership Election? by egift(m): 7:13am On Jun 10, 2015
The events of yesterday was a good one for APC. Like in the case of David killing Goliath, APC run the National Assembly leadership, while TANiods of PDP are singing like the Hebrew women for APC.

Change is here to stay. Sai Buhari all the way!
PoliticsRe: Buhari's Nonchalance On NASS Elections Shows How Out Of Touch He Is by egift(m): 7:06am On Jun 10, 2015
This is a big win for APC and for Buhari in particular. Next is the Cabinet where APC and Buhari in particular have unlimited latitude to select who will be on his cabinet.

The only individual who did not get exactly what he wanted in Tinubu. But there are still opportunities to consolidate. No matter how you look at it, the outcome is a good one.

TANiods can always cry, wail and agonize. Change is here to stay. Sai Buhari all the way!

stinggy:
The swap arrangement makes sense to me too. We should focus more on that till we can get our refineries in good shape and do away with these thieves called Importers.
I too agree on that. It save cost and ensure the price is not too much for the masses. Since we have the raw materials, it should factor in the finished product (though this will certainly reduce the usual revenue a little).
PoliticsRe: IPMAN Plans To Import Fuel Without Subsidy Payment by egift(m): 7:09am On Jun 08, 2015
We thank God for Buhari. When a good leader is in power, even all the corrupt channels will be thinking of noble ways to conduct their business.

TANiods can keep hating. Nigeria will get better.

PoliticsRe: Do You Think Corruption Will Ever Stop In Nigeria? by egift(m): 8:45pm On Jun 06, 2015
YES. At least reduced to the possible minimum.

People engage in corruption because it is profitable. What happens when doing thing the right way bring profit and if done in a corrupt manner has a high risk of repercussion?

The Solution is not to put too much punishment on corruption, but;
- To discourage Nigerians from engaging in corruption (or dubious shortcuts).
- Make sure that doing the right thing pays positively, always.
- That those who engage in corruption get punished every single time they repeat the crime.
- And finally that mechanism, policies and law-enforcement are regularly fine-tuned to catch perpetrators in every possible means they may try.

YES, corruption can be subdued and Nigerians can choose a better alternative. It requires someone with the political will - and now we have a shot at it in Buhari.

Cry me a river. The crocodile tears of TANiods is disgraceful at best.
PoliticsRe: How Many More Deaths? How Long Shall We Mourn? by egift(m):
This ridiculous new-found crocodile tears by TANiods is very porous and lame. The vigorious attempt to cast a 6days old administration as a failure is very dubious and shameless.

1. It is on record that over 15,000 Nigerians died as a result of Boko Haram exploits under Jonathan. And it is disgraceful that the same OP that is implying that Buhari has failed is one of Jonathan's loudest singers.

2. President Buhari has made the restoration of security and the defeat of Boko Haram his first agenda. Even on his inauguration address, he sounded it loud and clear.

3. Apart from announcing the moving of the Command Centre to the troubled region, PMB has also met with the Nation's Service Chiefs to assemble a marshal plan for the fight ahead.

4. Just yesterday, President Buhari returned from his visit to Niger and Chad where he went for a meeting to ensure that the fight against Boko Haram is coordinated from all angle.

5. President Buhari has also been meeting with many prominent Nigerians across political divides all in the bid to harmonize efforts, ideas and action plans.

TANiods who are yet to brace up to the reality that their paymasters have been kicked out by Nigerians after years of perpetual failure, looting and under-development, have been jumping from one to wordpress to brandish this gossip and lies - aimed to depict President Buhari as a failure.

One thing is certain - to TANiods, Boko haram, Looters, kidnappers, armed robbers, etc - President Buhari will deal with all lawlessness. Forget your crocodile tears, Nigeria will be great again. Nigeria will overcome all the destruction PDP brought upon us.

We told everyone that listened that "God have remembered Nigeria and will find a servant for service in the person of Buhari". The imagination of Jonathan continuing his Doctrine of Corruption is unacceptable.

Am glad that I and majority of Nigerians supported Buhari even when TANiods will insult and make fun at the Notion that an incumbent will be defeated due to the enormity of his failure and the magnitude of the Candidacy of Buhari.

Our prayer now is that the Almighty will guide Buhari and Osinbajo to repair the damages PDP had cause. Nigeria will be great again.

Thanks to all the Nairaland Progressives - we made it.

PoliticsRe: Gej's Administration Trying To Hide Their Loot In The Grave - Read Before First by egift(op): 12:44pm On May 30, 2015
eph12:
Its wrong obviously that any one would say that. But one thing you must understand is that we have a fragile system. Any wrong move even though its for the right reasons may be dangerous. No matter how you see it, GEJ can't be probed and the likes of OBJ and Atiku are celebrated in the APC camp. Come to think of it, do you honestly believe Amechi would escape the wrath of the law if probed? Or Fashola et al? You should also know that before the end of Buhari's tenure he would have done something wrong. Either doing it himself or having to cover a wrong move of one of his aides. That's how the world works. GEJ is gone. Buhari and his team should do what they can to move Nigeria forward.
I agree. But the part of don't probe is the problem. While ensuring looting public funds is not carried out blatantly, the past excesses that come to light, should not be swept under the carpet. If the table was turned, the story will not be the same. But my joy is that the boldness to loot, has been crippled.
PoliticsRe: Gej's Administration Trying To Hide Their Loot In The Grave - Read Before First by egift(op): 11:48am On May 30, 2015
eph12:
Was the administration before GEJ not PDP too? Why the hesitation in probing the 16 years of PDP after all its so obvious that they destroyed Nigeria. Don't let people see it as witch hunting. I fully support the probe of every past democratic leader, state or federal.
I think the System should be open to carry out its mandate without limitations. Like strenghtening the Anti-Corruption Agencies, setting up a special Court for Prosecuting only corruption cases and reviewing our laws like the Penal Code and Police Act to reflect the realities of how public office holders steal in the 21st Century, etc.

What I find absurd is saying that unless other administrations are not probed till Independence that no one should ask question on how Jonathan and his cronies looted the Nation. It is wrong. The other day on "Political Voices" on Radio, someone even said it should include till the time of Lord Lugard or else it will amount to witch-hunting any effort to investigate what happened under Jonathan as President. Imagine!
PoliticsGej's Administration Trying To Hide Their Loot In The Grave - Read Before First by egift(op): 10:58am On May 30, 2015
I strongly believe that by insisting that the Buhari Administration stay away from Probing or Investigating possible criminal activities that bother on looting of public funds under the administration of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan - unless it will also probe every other past administration, that it is a deliberate attempt by the PDP to hide their loots in the graves of our past leaders and even keep some in plain view.

It is undeniable fact that huge funds of Nigeria were stolen under the time Jonathan held sway. And the perpetrators are all here looking us in the face while the Nation crawl under the burden of the devastated economy Jonathan left behind.

While nobody want Buhari to spend all his time chasing hardened looters up and down, it will be bad to overlook obvious cases corruption. That Jonathan did not investigate the criminality of those before him is none of Buhari's business.

The Buhari's Administration should proceed with it's plan to setup a system that handles all corruption cases without fear or favour. It your case is up, you get a lawyer and head to court. Spare us all the crocodile tears.

Nigerians will not allow Jonathan and those who looted under him to avoid probity by hiding their loots in the shadows or the graves of past leaders like Zik, Balewa, Lord Lugard and others who led this Nation in the past.

Nigerians are united, enough is enough.
