These officers just take laws into their hands and behave without caution because of the way the country is. They don't act professionally at all. What is the purpose of the stationed FRSC vehicle parked at the checking point. Can't they alert their nearest point/location for this? Of course, the vehicle was never stopped for genuine reason - it was for selfish reason of enriching their purse which is the order of the day in most, if not all, of their points. In my area, they even work in the rain and as early as you can think - just to exploit motorists without checking the vehicle at all except for the stubborn drivers that refuse to offer anything.

You may try this:
Get floating feed of about 2kg, floxinor, palm oil and salt. Pour the feed in a bowl. Using the lid of the floxinor bottle, measure 7 lids and mix thoroughly with the feed using your hands. Add small quantity of palm oil and mix thoroughly too. Floxinor is bitter, so starve them so that they will be forced to eat the feed. Give them the feed, at first throw they will rush it well. Sprinkle salt (500g will do) on them so that it touches their body. After sprinkling the salt, throw the remaining feed mixed with floxinor and palm oil.
Note: If you are going to try this, starve them for about 12hrs so that all will be forced to eat the feed. And observe them for some hours or a day before you continue with the feed you are giving them.
Moreover why would you by local feed whose formula you don't know?!

Good evening all. Please I direly need your advice especially the gurus in the house. I am new in catfish business but have a friend that knows about it. I moved the fishes (about 2100) from 2 earthen ponds of 30*50m each to a virgin pond of 30*55m 3 weeks ago. My friend treated the new pond before introducing the fishes. After 3 days, we sold about 400 and there was no death before and few days after the sales. The average weight was 0.7g to 1.0kg after 4 months 1 week from juvenile at the point of sales. The fishes were fed with Durante for 1 month, then Vital feeds for 2 months and local feeds afterwards. we were buying local feeds from a feedmill but unaware of the formulae been used as they refused to disclose it. After a week in the new pond, I started observing 1 death daily and later it became 2 daily.
We then introduced another feeds formulae last Thursday for improved results but now have disastrous deaths - over 10 today. There is no strange physical observation on any of the dead fish. The details of the newly introduced feeds is as detailed below for your review, analysis and advice:

My friend has treated the pond about 2 times after the few deaths were noticed but this did not work. Also, I don't know the details of the treatment my friend gave. Kindly advice urgently please to salvage this situation

Why are the legislators beating the shadows? They have not refuted Fashola's claims of the "smugglings" into the budget. This would have spoken volumes instead of dedicating time, out of their schedules, for his invitation.

Some people just take delight in making the polity unstable and we will be clamouring for one Nigeria when we all know how sensitive religion and ethnic issues can be in our country. What are our leaders getting right in this country self? There are more pressing life - impacting issues that should have been given more concerted efforts and brainstorming than this selfish agenda. Will this improve the standard of education in the country? If you are removing CRS, then remove IRS and ARABIC Language. Nigerians have been deceived enough - this is an attempt to make Arabic Language a compulsory subject in the near future as French will naturally phase out. The handshake between IRS and ARABIC language is obvious to all and right - thinking Nigerians will never give in to this except those who are religion bewitched.

Good evening all. It is an understatement to say that this thread is invaluably imparting. I am hell bent to go through all the threads - I have gone above 70 now. The contributions of the gurus in the house, robonski, excelsiorfarm, ab1x amongst others are so wonderful and their dedication and sacrifice to see others succeed in this field is highly commendable - may the almighty God bless you all immensely.
