How will I know which fuse to replace
if you've located the place, take the fuses out one by one. You'll see the burnt one. You can replace it with the ones in your bonnet that is less important, like the ones for interior lights or wiper (pray make rain no fall o) .pls let me know how it goes. Where's your location? I might be close to you

Need an urgent reply pls car not starting after turning it off, and the battery is still okay. It doesn't even make any cranking effort to start. If I insert the key and turn ignition nothing happens
if it's a corolla, look under the Place where the knob for your bonnet is located,by your left feet. There's a fuse housing there. Replace the fuse if it's burnt and you're good to go. Shikenna. grin thank me later

There has been a lot of debate on Nairaland about engine oil and oil changes so...

Engine Oil and Filter
What is it?
Engine oil is a lubricant that reduces friction in the internal components of a vehicle’s engine. The oil filter cleans the oil entering the engine. Together, the oil and filter keep your engine clean and operating with reduced friction levels.

What does it do?
Engine oil’s prime purpose is to lubricate the engine. As a protective layer between the engine components, it decreases friction and heat, helping prevent engine friction and wear. The filter also protects the engine by preventing contaminants from entering and damaging the engine. When the engine has clean oil and a clean filter, your vehicle is in Road Ready condition.

Preventive Maintenance
Changing your oil and filter is the most important preventive maintenance to perform on your vehicle. Your engine relies on clean oil and the right amount of oil to function properly. Dirty oil and dirty filters allow for excessive friction and wear in your engine, causing serious damage. Clean and free flowing oil
will help protect your engine and prolong engine life.

Typical Wear and Tear
As the most frequently maintained part of your vehicle, the engine oil and filter endure wear and tear the fastest. The oil filter becomes clogged with carbon particles and ash from fuel combustion. Once the filter is restricted, the filter bypass valve opens and lets unfiltered oil circulate through your engine causing premature wear. If the engine is not getting clean oil, serious damage can be done to engine components.

Symptoms
•Three months since last oil change
•Low oil level
•Poor fuel economy
•Poor performance

SERVICE OPTIONS
Good
•Replacement engine oil filter
• Replacement engine oil with proper grade of
motor oil

Better
•Replacement engine oil filter
•Replacement engine oil with proper grade of
synthetic motor oil
• Top off oil fluids
• Lube chassis

Best
•Replacement engine oil filter
•Replacement engine oil with proper grade of
synthetic motor oil
• Top off oil fluids
• Lube chassis
• Fuel injector cleaner added to tank to
maintain efficiency

When to Service
Oil and filter changes are recommended every 3,000 miles/3 months or per your manufacturer’s recommendation. Service is also recommended if your vehicle endures extreme conditions such as stop and go traffic, the vehicle is at a very high mileage or it is used for towing.

Benefits of Service
•Improves fuel economy
•Prolongs life of engine
•Improves performance
morning ma. does this 3k miles or 3 months apply to synthetic oil which I learnt the change interval is 5 to 6k miles?

Please help

I use a 2003 camry. Recently I noticed it was smoking so I ringed the engine. After that I noticed vibration from the engine. It only stops when I must have accelerated up to 100km per hour. The vibration or humming is always there
Anyone ever had the experience? Please help your brother man
pls check your engine seats. Is thecar throwing the check engine lights? Pls do a comprehensive scan. Best of luck bro
