So long as baby is healthy, mama is healthy and feeding welll, i don't think there's any cause to worry. If your doctor gives you the all clear, then it's all good.

All the best mama.

Using two private clinics (one of them a catholic hosp) the catholic hosp dr says I shud relax that it's nothing that from 30 weeks there wud be a great difference, I was confused, 2day I went to the other one, the same reduction by 1kg tho, but chief dr wasn't on seat I had to leave to return on Monday. Kinda confused & not settled, thanx all the same, will seek for help from another clinic. Appreciate!!!
Roseey0:
Are u using a private clinic or a govt hospital?
In one of my antenatal days, a lady checked her weight before mine and while the nurse wanted to record it noticed she had been on that same weight for a while. She ask her to come back to recheck, that she cant be weighing same thing every week. The.result came back the same and she took her straight to the doctors. Later saw her going to admision ward.

I dont really know if it means anything. But if your hospital isnt doing anything pls seek a second option asap.

Please o, who else has experienced this? It's becoming scary, for the past one month my weight at clinic days keeps dropping from 90-88-87-86, thought I'm supposed to be adding at least 1kg just as baby is adding weight & I'm in my second trimester not first where I would say it's because of burping, vomiting or d bleeding I had. Please, put mouth o, tho I still feel d baby's fluttering, dunno what's wrong. Hope I'm in good shape cos I eat well now?

StrongWoman333:
Hello yes I had same experience from week 8 or 10 to 12 can't remember cos I'm already 25 weeks gone. The only difference is that I didn't bleed like you just pains. All the pains gone since week 16 or so can't recall. I feel the same thing like big lump too whenever I lie on my side and I know it's the fibroid. My tummy is also big like I am already due.
Provided baby is fine I ain't worried. Just ensure you don't stay dehydrated all will be well. I don't feel any pain just baby kicks and movement ....you don't have to be scared of anything keep a positive mindset. So many women have fibroid and end up having 3 to 4kids before going for surgery. Some don't even bother removing it after childbirth because it doesn't disturb them. Happy bumping smiley
thanks darling, I appreciate, now I'm at peace (rest). Further questions subsequently.

No golden chair or red carpet for me. No problem, there's God!!!! Have some questions tho & I'm being bothered but dr says I shouldn't, like I stated earlier, I'm a July FTM but with fibroids cry , been on paracetamol for the pains however I bled at 12 weeks & was on admission for 5days & dr says all I need is bed rest, I just kukuma stop work to observe d bed rest at home jeje, I'm practically walking on eggshells with this pregnancy, hubby looked at me this morning & like your tummy is just too big for your current duration (20weeks/5months) to be candid, I look 8months gone, I felt bad. The main koko I'm having now is when I lie on my left & I'm rubbing or slightly massaging my tummy, I feel this lil hardness on my right, midwife says I shouldn't be worried that it's the fibroid, but I'm not impressed that's why I'm here asking, anyone had similar issues? NB: my scan at 15weeks showed intramural, subserous & submucosal masses (only me) but baby is doing fine, viable & active. Should I be scared?

Thank you, was ur bank statement stamped by ur bank, cos mine was stamped. A friend of mine got his visa without any verification and his statement was stamped
Of course, it was stamped & signed with a reference letter attached as well. It isn't compulsory for them to call or verify, though. I guess they did because I had applied before & someone didn't do what he/she ought to do then. In all, I guess GRACE played a major role.

I can imagine the feeling when it took this long to come out.

Congratulations though, it worked out at the end.

That huge could go to a nice person around you this xams grin
@justwise, you can say that again. Sure, I will give the hug to them. But that doesn't mean I shouldn't urge you on to doing the good things you always do. God go bless you richly for all your inputs & grant you WISDOM like that of SOLOMON.

What did they call u to verify, I'm in the same situation now, I submit my application on 28/11/16 and go the email saying application not straightforward on 13/12/16 and I'm still waiting for decision made email
Verification of my bank statement (SOA). I guess the bank was called because the bank officer that called, asked me to respond in the affirmative loudly IF I can give my consent for my account to be verified by a third party (in this case, I guess the UK Embassy), sharp sharp, I say YES, PLEASE DO!!!! Meanwhile, in my previous application six months ago, it wasn't so. Don't fret much, you will get it BY GOD'S GRACE.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Ehimeomo(f):
Glad to give back to this house @justwise, thanks for your input, it propelled me into doing a lot of thinking work and lots of brainstorming. I went ahead "stubbornness" against @justwise advice to reapply and today i got my package with my six months visa. Thanks @justwise, You have been a source of wisdom, wish I could meet you and give you a hug. In addition, I think the addition of a personal letter to my application helped a great deal. Though, I had my heart in my mouth all the full one month because it took longer than expected, i think the UK application format too has improved a lot because i was called for some sorts of verification. My timeline :
21-11-2016: Submitted application at VI
21-11-2016: Application transferred to UK Visas & Immigration
22-11-2016: Application received by UK Visas & Immigration
22-11-2016: Visa application received in Sheffield
6-12-2016: A mail came that my application wasn't straight forward and would take longer than expected (na here I die wake up)
13-12-2016: Application assessed by UK Visas & Immigration
14-12-2016: Application ready for collection/courier return
15-12-2016: Application return by courier
19-12-2016: DHL called me to come carry my property and as I open am, I see six-months visa o.
NL is highly recommended for DIY o, no time for agents. STORY OF MY LIFE.

Your budget is still high for 5days trip considering your net monthly income, if you go through with it you will end up spending more than 4months of your salary in 5days.

If i were you i will leave it till mid 2017 as you suggested.
Thanks, i appreciate.

Ehimeomo:
Thanks. I actually went with an account statement of about 1.6 thereabout. It was an oversight or should I say "oversabi" dat the higher d budget, d better or so......, not knowing it was my undoing. I intend spending just 5 days now & would want my budget looking good. Pls, I would need all d scolding in d world to make it right this time around. Not that it's a do or die affairs anyway, but it's what I've nurtured to achieve, I've always wanted to visit d UK. So, please am I eligible to reapply now? Does this budget look good for a 5-day vacation : FLIGHT- 500GBP (200k+), ACCOMMODATION - 235GBP (90k+) & COST OF LIVING EXPENSES/MISCELLANEOUS - 500GBP (200k+) or make a reduction to somewhere around 800GBP?:
Will this fly for me? Or should I give it a break till mid-year 2017? Lastly, d itinerary d ECO made mention of, I think I did my best & that's why I want to know if I should stick to MANCHESTER or LONDON or even another city. Thanks for ur prompt response. God bless U, richly.
Earnestly waiting an advise cry @ justwise.

justwise:
Considering the fact that you spent more than 50% of your salary on family needs leaving you with little over £200 a month to survive on you shouldn't be surprised that the ECO refused you a visa.
You stated that the trip will cost you more than £2000 in just 10days that means that your family will struggle to survive after that trip.
Is the 2.5M you have now from your salary? If yes then how did you managed to save that much between June and Nov?

Did you travel to USA after the UK visa refusal?
@ Justwise, I went to the U.S. last year at my leave period & intended going to d UK equally for my leave, but when I was denied I went to UAE instead. I have a 10day off work every end of year, aside my leave at the mid-year & dat prompted me reapplying this November against December.
The yardstick for my denial baffles me, please help in any way to assist or address my new application. Thanks.

First, remember that everything that you have told them is on record forever.
If you change all your figures and dates they may wonder why.
If you apply too soon they will only think that you are desperate to get to UK.

Best to wait some time and build up finances.
Thanks for your response, I appreciate a great deal. Even if i ain't altering what's on the system, at least can't i reduce my expenditure in the UK since I will be reducing my vacation days to 5days, I am asking this because a friend says I can reapply after 6months or thereabout. I am just all of a sudden a travel-freak (ajalatravel) "smiles" as I intend visiting "developed" countries for starters & since i have a 10-day end of year- off work break. My intention at the time of my first application was to go to the UK for my leave of absence since I have visited the US, but was denied instead I went to Dubai & returned immediately to resume work. Thanks for your input!
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Ehimeomo(f): 12:37pm On Nov 03, 2016
Please house, i am a first timer in contributing or asking questions here. kindly assist justwise & fellow experts; my refusal decision was 1st June, 2016. i intend reapplying this November against traveling in December. i receive a monthly salary of #350,210 (after tax). in my earlier application, my living cost & supporting family as filled by me amount to #230,000 leaving me with a balance of #120,000 monthly. i was denied on these grounds:

1. You state that you will travel to the UK for 10 days. When asked on the visa application from you what you will do in the UK you have stated tourism. You state that you have no family in Nigeria and that you intend to travel alone to the UK. Additionally, you state that you have no family or friends in the UK and intend to stay at the MANCHESTER AIRPORT HOTEL. You have given little indication as to how yo intend to spend your time, where you intend to travel, what sites of interest you intend to visit, and why in particular you have chosen the UK for your holiday. The Home Office website clearly advises applicant's on what could constitute acceptable evidence and information to support their application. I consider it reasonable to expect you to be able to demonstrate you have knowledge of your chosen destination and plans. In the absence of such information it is difficult for mr to make any considered judgement as to your true intentions.

2. You have stated on your application that you are employed as a marketing manager and earn 350,210NGN/1,216.12GBP (1GBP: 287.97NGN as per OANDA exchange rate) per month.

3. You have stated that you spend 230,000NGN per month on living costs and supporting your family leaving you with a disposable income of 120,000NGN/416.70GBP. You state that the cost to you personally of your visit is 2,261GBP. This is over 5 times your monthly income once family and living costs have been deducted and i am not satisfied this is credible considering your personal and financial circumstances.

4. In light of the above, I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the United Kingdom or that you will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Furthermore, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds available to cover your costs whilst in the UK without working or accessing public funds. Your application for a visit visa has been refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) (e)

Further Applications.
Any further UK visa applications you make will be considered on their individual merits, however you are likely to be refused unless:
* your personal circumstances change significantly between now and your next application.
* you provide compelling new evidence with your next application.

NB: Please Note, my circumstance. I am SINGLE, I have been to the US & DUBAI (UAE), actually my US visa is still running and have used it once, secondly I never stated i have no family in Nigeria, I have my mum (who stays with me & in charge of her care as well as my young siblings I equally help with little stipends for school). I don't know if not having my own family (married) amounts to me not having a family in Nigeria. I equally stated in my form that i would be visiting OLD TRAFFORD as a MAN-U football fan/enthusiast, also MANCHESTER ART GALLERY, CHINA TOWN & go shopping at the TRAFFORD CENTRE.
My questions are : 1. Can I change this my new application to LONDON or stick to MANCHESTER?
2. Can I reduce my monthly living costs to about 170,000#/180,000# or stick to my previous 230,000#?
3. I intend staying now for just 5days ( is it okay). NOTE NOW, I have about 2.5M in my account as i submitted all necessary docs. Kindly assist me. God bless you!
