Skills and Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP, Laravel5 and Lumen
- Solid experience with Laravel - All features including queues, crons, broadcasting/web sockets (Laravel Echo), Active Record (eloquent), middleware, service providers, database migrations, etc.
- Experience deploying Laravel applications via Docker on AWS or similar environments.
- Proficiency with Postgres well beyond the scope of Laravel’s DB abstraction
- In depth understanding of Building and Deploying Micro-services.
- Hands on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design, API (session-less) authentication using oAuth, JSON Web Tokens, Passport
- Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec)
- Experience with modern front end tools like Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience building fintech or banking solutions is a huge advantage.
- Creative and efficient problem solver and great communication skills.

I for one, have always been lazy typist when it comes to virtual keyboards. I used to have tons of third party keyboard apps because they seem to provide features that help me type less and do more until i realized how easy and convenient google android keyboard (default keyboard app) is.

We will be working with the latest vesion of laravel which is 5.3 as at the time this post was created.

Assumptions: during the course of this tutorial, i'll assume the following
You have a local server up and running ( eg: xamp, wammp, laragon, etc ). if not, then learn how to set up one here before proceeding as it's required.
You have basic html and css skill
You have basic knowledge of Object Oriented PHP
