hey, with fluid "overflowing" you probably overfilled the power steering reservoir. Use a syringe to drain some fluid and properly guage to the correct maximum level. observe and revert back if problem persist. cheers |
.Didnt Specify car brand. Assuming the engine has no prior history of leakage or oil shortage, your problem may lie around the engine oil filter. it could have been punctured or loosely installed. Modified: You should have pulled over and turned the engine off immediately the low oil pressure light illuminated. with the knocking sound you heard, engine replacement or rebuild is on the cards. cheers |
Your documents are valid. Rule of thumb; before you travel interstate, make sure your car registration was done atleast 4- 5 months ago. Data harmonisation takes time and security personnels will always exploit that loophole. All the best |
samuelson06:Funny thing is; the fix was done like last week Thursday. Car runs great and the dashboard is cluster free. I had written this off but the dude didnt even care to check up on. I cudnt let dat shit slide, it aint abt the money. |
amdman:Encircled is the reason i didnt revert back to you. It was your last statement and It is open to different interpretations. So nairalanders: click "like" if it means "Go to Hell" Click "share" if it means otherwise

Dear Maxwell Asowata, Ordinarily i wouldn't have thought to make this public if only you had shown a little degree of after service concern. I had to wait a week to make this review in order to distill my emotions out of this whole ordeal. Your lack of concern is damming and for a client that never at any point haggle price with you, it leaves a bad taste. This review expresses perhaps one of the worst case scenario that could play out, if, during handling (loading, offloading, shipping or transport) of a car, it gets damaged. If the fix is somewhat expensive( as it is unforseen), a patched up job will most likely be done just to get it delivered to the owner. Your panel beaters are abysmal (from my experience) or maybe their performance is as a consequence that doing a standard job ll exceed a certain finacial threshold for you. Then a unilateral decision is made to cut corners without seeking the opine of the customer who may or may not be willing to reach a compromise just to get a tidy job done. In my case, I complained and you where quick to label my 3 months wait as a LOSS for you. After that, you go offline, read and ignore. This is to let you know that i spent well over 70k overhauling the whole exhaust system of the 2007 HONDA Accord i recently took possession from your team on the 11th of August 2020 with the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. From buying a new taiwan catalyst, upper and downstream oxygen sensor, upper net, lower catalyst (female side) mount etc. And to prevent a scenario where blames are apportioned to my mechanics, i did consider radoautoworks but i eventually settled for the team recommended by mr rowland aka luvinhubby (a nairaland cartalk honda guru) due to promixity and pricing. I shortpaid you by 10k and your reactions when i informed you of the possibility that a substantial amount will/may be further expended were: 1. " Your transaction was at a loss to me and i took your balance like that to close your chapter" 2. " i aint splitting any extra cost on repairs with you afterall i have paid for a sensor, what are you talking about? ". Listen boss, i have now overpaid you by over 70k and this transaction will be a profit to me, no regrets here and i choose to focus on the positives. I hereby grant you express permission to use and publish our communications in your defence as i have already attached evidences of the work i did plus a reliable alibi in the person of mr luvinhubby. You cant be big and operate small; Lanre ll go to the port, lanre ll take possession, Lanre ll do interstate delivery. Then, who, if i may ask, checkmates the mechanic, panel beaters and painters? Too much trust in these people brings about complacency. My advise to you is to apply the same standard used in canada here in Nigeria and to consider doing some sort of insurance on your operations To prospective clients, we all can't be lucky, we all can't be unlucky, things like these happen but concern, empathy and communication is key, so allow room for renegotiation if things go south. Maxwell will tell you the truth most of the time, your funds are safe and generally, his Canadian end of operation is near perfect. However, the Nigerian end is somewhat overhelmed and spread too thin without a proper framework, hence, end product quality assurance cannot be guaranteed. I advise you consider roro shipping to prevent avoidable damages and set funds aside for eventualities. Peace y'all. Client 101351

adanny01:Apt! You've beaten him to that argument, watch as he&them divert to the "Re-sale Value mantra" . crowd mentality |
Alfred74:You have comprehension issues.. read to understand.

cruzydal:Let's not do that. Counter my stance with a valid source. Mine is glaring for all to see. |

kingreign:Empty barrel makes most noise. And with over 500 comments on this thread, u r certainly a noise maker |
kingreign:Again, a seller that offered FULL after sale refund would have no qualms replacing a bad suspension; a lesson learnt from the whole codeylla episode some weeks back. I PUT IT TO YOU AND ALL OTHER MECHANICS/SALES REP OUT THERE: YOU CAN NEVER AND WILL NEVER DO A FULL REFUND ON A CAR PURCHASED FROM YOU |
Googlemechanic:This is purely de-marketing even though the statement is factual. It could have better been rephrased as: "I observed that this vehicle is ridiculed in rust. A combination of this and high mileage makes it a bad buy in my opinion from the little information gathered here". Facts still remain you do not have all the information to conclusively call it a bad buy and to jump to hasty conclusions shows u in a "pull him down light" Same goes for the 2005 camry with the broken side mirror. I guess u forgot to add that a car with a 65k mileage (if true mileage) is a fantastic buy. Bad shocks or no bad shocks. Enough with the pettiness |

Great work you are doing amdman. Please whats the cost of getting a 2012 honda civic from you? |
dgitrader:I dnt know of the total cost but I think 250k clearance cost may not be far fetched if he knows his way. |
HeavenlyBang:800k? How certain are u? |
Joehigashi:Are these prices fixed? Can't another source quote something else? |
I am creating this topic because i don't have 150k to borrow someone to settle Customs officers along the Benin- ore Highway. Long story short, a childhood friend of mine recently acquired a 2010 Toyota Corrolla imported from the States. Given that we both are from the same state of origin, it was decided that we are going to travel back to the east, along with other friends of ours, in his newly acquired car this forthcoming 25th of December. Yesterday, we were at a bar and i inquired from him the total amount he spend on getting the car cos i would like to get one too. He told me it cost him around 2.1 million to get the car. Initially, i assumed that excluded custom and clearing duties but alas he said it was inclusive of both. He said it cost him about 550k to clear the car and paid his clearing agent around 100k. I had my reservations and i called his attention to it but he wasn't swayed. I cudnt get that off my mind, is it possible to clear a 2010 Toyota Corrolla with just 550k? I dont know if he's lying or just ignorant but he seemed confident that everything was properly done not stating that this is actually the 1st time he is importing a car. Please gurus in the house, what's your take? Your responses will help me better sway him or clear my doubts. Thanks |

I went on a second date to the city mall with a bae i really liked. She is beautiful n i knew from the onset dat she had many guys hitting on her and hence, she had trust issues. Along the line while on our date, i pressed her severally to kiss me, then at a point she asked ^ y shud i kiss you?^. I cudnt give a straight answer then but tonite i intend to reply her thus: ^ you once asked me why you should kiss me? I still do not have any reason as to why you should, except i hoped dat if you did, u wud see me differently as someone you can hold, luv and trust Time is awasting and we may not be here tomorrow Its a full moon tonite; i pray n hope dat ur affection for me comes full circle. ^ Abeg sey i dey on point? |
