maziude: Man, you are confusing everyone here with your random statements.
I would suggest you lay it out as it is, so whoever will help you can give you suggestions.
But note, getting a job here on visitor visa is next to impossible. Please forget the issue of sponsorship with a visitor visa. Many companies here are not sponsoring even those that are here easily.
But if you have a tangible skill or talent the company needs then you might get lucky, but for now focus on other options- school or express entry.
Please, to avoid being banned from entering Canada, ensure all you are doing is legal.
Peace yea true, nobody is perfect. There is nothing inlegal okay, just that i have gone for the biometric before finding out that it was a TRV because he did everything online. Everyone is looking for a way to better his future and take care of him family that is why we are looking for a way out |

Reasonabledoubt: Seems like the agent mislead your dad knowingly. may be but my dad did not pay any money just the visa fee and biometric fee, so that is why i am following the forum to know more of it and how i can get a working permit |

Blackbuddy: Did you get your TRV on the basis of student status? You could apply for a post graduate work permit after your programme. There are a number of ways to apply for a work permit and you could find all the relevant info you need at this link, https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/permit.html the reason i am asking is that the agent who my dad contact told my dad that it was a working permit visa but after i went for biometric i saw thst it was TRV that was on my receipt, so that is why i am asking if i can fine a way to get a work permit |

TheCongo2: Hello maternal, That is a good point you made. I was thinking about that as well. But then again what about the nannies. Many ladies are getting permanent resident status by working as nannies. There are agencies bringing nannies from the Philippines. You can also sponsor a nanny from your home country. Would you say there is a difference between a nanny and a barber? so some one coming from nigeria with a TRV can not get a sponsor |

maternal: That's hard to believe. Barbars are not in short demand. so with my TRV i can not get a sponsor to help me out with a work permit |

TheCongo2: There are few ways you can go about it but there is no guarantee it will work. You can apply for permanent resident on humanitarian grounds but there is no guarantee you will get it given that many people are turned down under this program. You can apply for asylum if you qualify. Or, a family member can sponsor you.
My best recommendation is the federal skilled program. Else, you may waste 10 years of your life in Canada and then end up by getting deported. thanks you so much, because some body told me that an employer can do that for me |

jnyuwa02: Sir, sometimes it takes more than five days to be called for biometrics. I have seen someone called for biometrics after 30 days. But if this person claims he filed since October and was only recently called for biometrics, I sense something amiss. you are right when i ask the agent after some months what was the problem he said to me that canadia source he is using to get the document is not ready yet so i just thought of forgetting the whole thing and move for a different country, so i never called him again. Just for him to call me just last week that the delay was over and everthing is fine now that i should ready for biometric on monday 22 april |

Omonoba1981: I am planning to send in my student application, but got bad news from a friend who got his reject in 3 weeks. He seems to have put in a good application, but was rejected based on purpose of visit.
And he applied online and did his biometric in Abuja. The decision was made in Embassy of Canada Visa Section Cinnah Caddesi 58 06690 Cankaya Ankara Turkey
Any reason why decision was made in turkey? why turkey |

Frankrobbn1: Eichie123,
Yes you were called for biometrics last week, if I may ask you this question again, who submitted this application? You or the agent? If it is your agent ask for the details of your application, so you can keep track of your application day to day processing since you're unable to track it using the tracking number that was issued to you at the local VFS tracker website. Ask for your cic account details of your application from your agent. Better still, patiently allow your agent to finish up the entire visa process while you leave everything in God's hands and wait for a positive outcome.
This is what I have to say.
All the best thank you so much i am greatfull for this breakdown |

Newman1010: Since October? That’s not possible. Stop trying to track it and contact your agent, he is not telling you the truth. It take not more than 5 days to get a biometric request after application. Kindly visit your agent with some military men. |

Frankrobbn1: Newman1010,
Hehehe you guys don't seize to amaze me here with the bold words. Yes, the agent might not have being sincere with the applicant or maybe the agent just applied recently that's why the applicant was called for biometrics last week. Either of the two might be the case here. yeah he told me that there was some delay with the procees that was why he take him so long to get back to me |

Frankrobbn1: Eichie123,
Yours is different, considering that you made use of an agent, you should ask your agent the progress of your application since you are unable to track your application using the local VFS tracker. why cant i track it. Since there is a place every one can track it. I started the parkage since october last year and it was just last week i was call for biometric |

It might be you're still missing out some vital informations you filled on your IMM1294 form. A friend of mine was complaining the same, but as at last week when I helped out, he find out that he was doing the wrong thing and now his application is finally linked online. Have you tried following the below link step by step guidelines and you're still not getting it?
https://www.nairaland.com/4390108/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/33#66255587 same issue but it was an agent did everything for me so i dont know if he use the cic acoount to get every information |

Frankrobbn1: Eichie123,
Oh! I see, you agent must have filled a representative form in your visa application, so all correspondence from cic will be sent directly to the agent.
Yes! Use the below link to track your application using the tracking number that was issued to you at VFS office. https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/nigeria/track_your_application.html i have try to do that and it say know match found |
