Radio/TV was copied from UK. However, such money was used to operate broadcasting stations both TV and radio. That is what BBC TV and Radio stations use to operate. Because the money is not subject to govt, it ensures broadcasting stations are independent. In Nigeria, imagine local governments charging 50,000 to 100,000 per year for radio license! How much is the TV?

1) Issue tickets to okada people and people pushing wheel barrow
2) Collecting money from people selling from road side at bus-stops.
3) Local government chairman coming to office mostly end of the month to distribute allocation.
4) patching small potholes on small streets after which they pick aso-ebi to commission the road that was patch.
5) distributing bowl of un-cooked rice gotten from party headquarter to party members with N500 for stew.
6) issuing tickets for TV/radio permit.

You are totally correct.
The funny part is the tv/radio permit, i remembered when I was working with karu LGA. Like why on earth should I be paying tax on TV I'm using for my own business

And unto your reasoning for educated Nigerians to go into politics, well, I do not know what to say about that, but personally, I feel Nigeria is not ripe for such. People will rather vote candidates that share same tribe and religion, not necessarily the man that will do the right thing. As someone that doesn't do religion, I doubt I will have a chance in that country to be elected.

I will rather choose to be the president of my own business (think Dangote, Jeff Bezos) than carry the baggage of ruling a largely uneducated population. Smart people are evenly distributed across the world. I am sure with a population close to 200M, there are more than enough revolutionary leaders inshore that can carry the mantle of leadership and revolutionize the country.

As of today 1st of March, students of uniosun okuku campus, came together to put a stop to SARZ harassment.
For some times now men of the special anti robbery squad (SARZ) have been giving students mostly boys hard times in school asking them to pay money for no just reasons and those that refuse to pay were arrested and taken to unknown destination.

It's not necessarily it change
The only reason it will change is if you've been offered admission to study another course instead of the one you applied for.
Once you have been offered admission you will see a congratulation message both on caps and the school portal.
