You should read the story before rushing to comment. They aren't buying the airline they are submitting bid to manage airline. Yes they do have Natural resources being natural gas. Nigeria took over Arik airways.

No matter how well run or how profitable Ethiopian Airlines is, no country especially a third world African country who survives on UN food aid to feed half its population should come and buy any indigenous Nigerian airline carrier especially as the giant of Africa doesn't even have a national carrier.
