Reports coming right out of France claim that Monaco offered 8.5M including bonuses not 17M for Osimhen. The Manager of Partizan said that they would sell him if a bid of 15M comes in, but no club has met that valuation.

Lille and Gent are very interested but Monaco seem desperate after losing Slimani and are expected to sell Wissam Ben Yedder.

The bid of 8.5M has not been accepted or rejected by Partizan, though.

I think Liefering is a feeder club of RB Salzburg, when they get a youth player he will start from Liefering before moving to RB Salzburg, after that if he is really good he can move to RB Liebzig another club owned by the Red Bull Company.
I think that might be the pathway of Tijani, but I just hope he starts from RB Salzburg, instead of their feeder club

Four Nigeria-Eligible Players Feature As Chelsea Thrash Queens Park Rangers In Friendly

Chelsea thrashed Queens Park Rangers 7-1 in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon, with four players of Nigerian descent involved for their respective teams, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

Queens Park Rangers trio Bright Osayi-Samuel, Eberechi Eze and Luke Amos, and Chelsea's teenage prodigy Faustino Anjorin were given minutes in the friendly.

Frank Lampard's team led 4-1 at the break with Mason Mount, Willian, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Olivier Giroud getting on the scoresheet.

In the second half, Loftus-Cheek grabbed his brace and two goals from Billy Gilmour helped Chelsea register a comprehensive win ahead of their trip to Aston Villa on Sunday, June 21.

It is looking likely that Amos's loan spell at Queens Park Rangers will be extended beyond the end of this month as he has been part of preparations and featured in last Wednesday's friendly against West Ham United at the London Stadium.

The Tottenham Hotspur loanee, whose international future has been the subject of debate in recent days, was a key player for QPR before football was halted in March, starting 19 games in the Championship.

Sidos FC Sporting Director Egbukwu Gives The Lowdown On Amoo's Transfer To Hammarby

Earlier this week, Hammarby confirmed the capture of former Nigeria U17 international Akinkunmi Amoo on a four-year deal.

In this interview with allnigeriasoccer.com's editorial staff, Sidos FC Sporting Director and respected Nigerian talent spotter, Dominic Egbukwu sheds more light on Amoo's transfer to the Swedish Allsvenskan side.

So many clubs were linked with Akinkunmi Amoo. We heard clubs in England, France, Italy, Germany and Spain attempted to sign him, so why is he going to Hammarby that is not as popular as the top European clubs that were chasing him?

The clubs that showed much interest were Leicester City, Monaco, AC Milan and Ajax Amsterdam. Almost all the big clubs showed interest in Amoo but we did not get assurances from them that he was going to play for their first team.

We also got some information that most of these big teams buy promising young players and immediately loan them out. We remembered what happened to Kelechi Nwakali so we did background checks on the clubs before reaching a decision. We did not want that kind of experience for our player so we selected Hammarby.

Hammarby assured us Amoo will play for their first team. When the boy visited the club, he trained with their U17 team, his level was too high for the squad and they shifted him to the U20s then first team.

The financial package Hammarby came with is not big, the money was not bigger than the other offers we got but there are other benefits for example they partnered with us because of Amoo, to be picking Sidos FC players for trials in Sweden every six months.

Hammarby came to Nigeria with their sporting director and chief scout to finalise negotiations, they were very serious. They came to see our players at Agege and selected some of our players, among them Alfred Olaniyan who was with the last U17 squad and Isaac who trained with the Flying Eagles last year. So the two players will be traveling together with Amoo to Sweden. The invitation letter of the players has arrived.

Myself, Oliver Noah, Chairman of Sidos and Solomon had a meeting with Hammarby officials at Beach Hotel and concluded. You know money is not everything, we saw the bigger picture, and we are also having a good percentage of the sell-on clause, 20%.

AC Milan were ready to pay 1.5 million euros with a five percent sell-on but no assurance of first team football.

How long have you known Amoo, how did you discover him? When did he join Sidos FC?

You know how we go around before before any tournament, we normally go to all the 36 states in Nigeria to go and check for these players but Amoo was discovered in Ibadan.

We scouted in Ibadan for five days, we found Amoo and he played well. From Ibadan we took him to Ife to see what he can do and he performed very well again before we brought him to Lagos.

We go ourselves to look for these talents because most of them don't have money for transportation to Lagos, where scouting tournaments are held.

We are waiting for the lockdown to end before we resume our scouting. Me, Sidos and Oliver Noah discovered Amoo at Lead City University, Ibadan.

What role did the famous Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic play in Amoo's move to Hammarby?

As you are aware Ibrahimovic is a co-owner of Hammarby, he has some shares in the club. We are surprised that he made a video call with Akin and tried to convince him to choose Hammarby.

Ibrahimovic heard several clubs were interested in signing Akin and he made sure Akin chose Hammarby. He talked to Akin himself and talked to our Chairman.

He played a big role for the successful transfer of Akin to that club, spoke to Akin one-on-one, phoned him, so Akin did not want to disappoint him.

What is Amoo's best position on the pitch. Is he a winger or attacking midfielder?

His normal position is to attack from the wings, we used him in that position at Sidos. We believe that this boy will make a difference at Hammarby.

Amoo is not different from Messi, the Barcelona captain, he plays the same type of football. He is very sharp on the ball, very skillful, it's hard for him to lose the ball, he is a playmaker.

Amoo is still in Ibadan, when do you think he can finally link up with his new team Hammarby?

We are waiting for the Swedish embassy to open so he can go and take the visa, because their league is starting soon. As soon as the embassy opens he will go for his visa and resident permit. There are no signals yet from the embassy.

We are just very happy that we have concluded the transfer, I told all the European clubs calling me that I won't pick their calls again once he turns 18. He's a hotcake. They were calling me, the chairman and president.

What is your advice to other Nigerian clubs and young players interested in moving to Europe?

Most of the club officials are greedy, they don't care where the players go, they are only after money. Osimhen's story has changed now but he was lucky. He wasn't supposed to join Wolfsburg because we already had a deal for him in RSC Anderlecht, where he can develop. Because of the big transfer fee they took him to Wolfsburg.

He could not play in Germany and it's still the same Belgium they took him, to a lower club. That was where he discovered his talent. He was lucky, if not it could have been a problem.

Are you hearing about Taiwo Awoniyi again? He could not play for Liverpool and has been moving up and down on loan to different clubs.

When we moved Omeruo to Chelsea, he never played for the club, that's how we learnt our lesson. It is not advised you sign for a big club first.

Our Chairman is trying his best to make sure everything with Amoo works out. We also want to thank the Nigeria U17 coaches who helped Amoo develop his talent. We are happy this transfer is finished.

RAHEEM STERLING QUESTIONS WHY WHITE EX-PROS GET MANAGERIAL JOBS OVER BLACK COUNTERPARTS

Raheem Sterling has demanded to know why white ex-pros get better managerial jobs than their black counterparts.
Sterling took the game to task after its claims that Black Lives Matter by asking why there is still no black presence at the top.
He said: “I always refer back to football, the coaching staff you see around clubs. I’ll give a perfect one. There’s Steven Gerrard, your Frank Lampards, you have your Sol Campbells and you have your Ashley Coles.

"All had great careers, all played for England. At the same time, they’ve all respectfully done their coaching badges to coach at the highest level and the two that haven’t been given the right opportunities are the two black former players.”

There are currently only six black managers out of the 91 in English football’s top four divisions. There are still zero black referees

A string of clubs have been criticised for posting black squares as part of a social media protest last week and for issuing messages of solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement when the English game remains riven with institutional bias.

Sterling, speaking on BBC Newsnight, has become the latest player to insist change needs to come at the top if the needs of black players are to be properly addressed in the game.
He added: “There’s something like 500 players in the Premier League and a third of them are black and we have no representation of us in the hierarchy, no representation of us in the coaching staff.
“There’s not a lot of faces that we can relate to and have conversations with. And I do think, with these protests that are going on, it’s all well and good just talking.

“But it’s time that we need to, have conversations to be able to spark debates and not just debates, because we’ve done a lot of talking, to actually start implementing change.”

This picture doesn't tell the true story..

Werner really wanted Liverpool... But apparently the coronavirus pandemic has affected our finance and we aren't willing to pay his €50m release clause..
Again,it's unlikely that Klopp would destabilize the front 3 of Salah,Firmino and Mane to accommodate him..he would have been a back up to them..
Chelsea appear to be willing to do the opposite of that..

Manyoo also tried their luck Sha. grin
The impact coronavirus have on clubside is so much that some clubs have to resort on getting loans from banks (Tottenham, Man u etc)
Chelsea is really lucky, because their transfer ban was actually a blessing in disguise, so da do hv some cash to splash on players sale.
With the sale of forgotten hitman Morata da can finance Time werner deal.

You have come again with your doomsday predictions.

Better players in their Academy, based on what? Someone has played a full season of topflight football in a top league, but the Academy players are better than him, if dem ask you now, you go say dem win U20 World Cup like Solanke, so, they are better.

Is there any Nigerian player from Nigeria you even rate? I mean, before they make moves and prove you wrong.
No mind komekn, currently Chelsea has no winger in their academy who can step up to the first team for now.

And if Pedro and Willan eventually leave, we are left with Pulisic, Odoi and Ziyech (who Lampard might deploy as a winger).

So I see no reason why samu chuks won't have game time or according to him will become a bench warmer.

Good Morning Family. I need you guys to help me answer this puzzle based on a Legend ( Chief Segun Odegbami) who loves our Local league so much and believes we should include Players from the NPFL in the Super Eagles.

Scenario: Chief Segun Odegbami owns a football academy. A bright talent in his academy has been spotted by a club in Belgium who believes this player has so much potential. The club offers to sign the player outright for 5 million Euros (N2.1 billion). With a provisio that Segun Odegbami's Academy will earn 5% from any sell on fees in the future. At the same time, Enyimba of Aba wants to sign the same player for one year so the player can develop in the NPFL.
Question: Which option do you think the Legend will take based on the fact he beleives so much in our league and going back to the "grassroots".?
