Ask me again, did I ever say G treaures was the same as Gulf treasures, the OP wanted a clue, and I gave him a clue, of which I never said I was certain, its left for the OP to find out wat company sent him the text, maybe by acknowledging the invitation

Decided to sign in today to say congrats to all who made the final list, God has indeed shown his mercy and kindness to us all, deep down in our hearts we know it is by his grace we're alive to share testimonies.

Abrespect, I happy for u no be small, could remember when u posted on naijahotjobs about ur fears concerning height issues, u were even more discouraged when someone replied telling u his got credible info that all those with any issues would be dis-qualified. I strongly opposed to the post, saying that God alone knows the best and no human judgement should alter ur faith. Alas, here u're jubilating and rejoicing, don't forget to give praise to whom all honour is due to.

To all who didn't make the final list, just know that God would use wat u have to bless U, he has not forgotten ur tears and prayers, one day u would be celebrated as well, do not relent in applying to other job vacancies, it is well.

EducationRe: What Are The Benefits Of Student Relationships? by Ejay(f): 11:08pm On Apr 14, 2013
Anyway I'm not surprised at the comments I'm getting here, this is due to the fact that u can hardly see matured guys in terms of age and mind in undergraduate degree programmes today, about 8yrs back, when I was still an undergraduate student in, u could see men of between the age bracket of 27-40 in the same class or higher levels than you, even many of the ladies were single 24-32yrs. Majority were full time students and business men, some rarely even attend lectures cos they were oil workers (shift stuff). So many were there for their second degree, no be now wey post-utme don take over. Tell me then, if u were a 24yr female why u wouldn't date a 28yr old guy that's in ur class or is in higher level that urs.

The story has changed today, tell me wat're the prospects/plans of an 18yrs old 300level guy dating a gal of 15yrs in 100level, the guy is not even thinking of settling down even 8yrs after graduation, the guy probably sees the university environment as a means of exercising/satisfying his sexu*al desires, most of the guys/ladies are youngster so they term it as fun and not relationship.

My elder sis married her boyfriend whom she dated back then in the same uni, countless number of my friends married the the guys they dated while schooling in the same uni.

Abeg university don change jare, so maybe that's why all the comments is saying the only benefit been s*e*x, nothing more.

Lack of Funding stalls Police Surveillance Scheme.

A counter-terrorism surveillance programme meant to assist the police in their counter-terror has died following non-release of funds by the Ministry of Police Affairs, which proposed the idea.

The programme, designed to recruit informants and spies that could penetrate the Boko Haram Islamic sect and other militant organizations in the country, failed to leave the drawing board as its proponents denied it of funds, it was learnt.

Saturday punch investigations indicate the programme entails the recruitment of ordinary people like commercial motorcyclist, bus drivers, artisans, kiosk owners, petty businessmen and women, student and other members of the society, who could pass useful information and security tips that could be processed into hard intelligence for use by counter-terror personnel and intelligent officers.

To implement the programme, the sum of N345.3m was budgeted by the ministry in its 2012 budget, but the money was not released and it could not be immediately ascertained what it was eventually used for by its ministry officials.

A senior police officer stated that no money was released for the programme, adding that there had been no recruitment of spies by the anti-terror surveillance unit.

He explained that 10 officers were sent abroad for counter-terror training in 2010, and were expected to train other officers.

"But since they came back, nothing has been done, personnel from the force were drawn to form the unit, but money was not released to keep the unit functional and Force has not recruited even a single spy for the past years; the issue has been no money and the ministry has not released anything," the source stated.

The idea for the surveillance programme was said to have been borrowed form a United States security programme, the Terrorism Information and Prevention System, a domestic intelligence-gathering program proposed by former President George Bush.

When contacted, the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, claimed ignorance of the surveillance programme. "I don't know anything about the programme," he said curtly.

The Deputy Director, Press, Ministry of Police Affairs, James Odaudu, could not be reached for comment. Calls to his phone and an SMS failed to reach him.

I don't know why so many of us here are worried and perturbed over mere hearsay. And so wat, if 90% of the list has been hijacked by politicians as some people claim, which is not true. The truth would soon surface when the list finally comes out, my name is there already, because my connection is the strongest and most reliable.

Good day great officers, been wondering when all these would be over, this PSC people have made so many vibrant people disappear due to the waiting, where's Gfrey, the originator of this thread, Abrespect, thread police pastor and several other.

MJ, I really commend ur effort, even when all previous speculations were defeated, u still believed that one day one of ur speculations would turn out real, u're indeed a true believer living by faith.

At all, I wouldn't say I'm so strong, I've lost hope countless time, I've said too hell with the police job, who cares about the men in black, I'm doing Nigeria a favour by accepting to do such a tedious and dangerous. Still after all said, I still log onto nairaland job vacancies forum searching, scrolling down looking for a trend with topic 'Invitation for written exams police ICT Professionals into Nigeria Police' for possible updates as to if the final list has been released, logging onto PSC website everyday, reading dailies everyday just to know if my name is on the final list. Very funny, I care so much about wanting the damn job, I wanna be there, I want to be called as one of the final applicant that made it, I want to be a POLICE WOMAN.

Lord Almighty, show us mercy, for we've suffered so much for wanting this job, wipe away our tears, getting this job is a big miracle to so many here, help us Lord. From whom shall our help come from, from The Lord God who made Heaven and earth.

@ delex 012, not our list, they produced their own inner cacus list, in every government recruitment, there's always an underground list which is not usaully released with the main list. Now those candidates goes for training on their own wish, abegi all these things dey happen.

I went for an eighteen months programme all niger delta states conducted, after rigorous exams and interviews, merit list was released, I was lodged in an exquisite hotel for my documentation, third day during the exercise, a State Government owned bus conveying about 60 candidates arrived the documentation venue, it was a tug of war between the documentation officers and the newly arrived guest, why? Their names were not in any of the list, so after much debate a call was put through to their boss, who within 20mins arrived the documentation venue with a four page list containing some names, he apologized to the officers. That was it, I got to know later, that was special list from office of the state Government. It was not released with the main list, not even as supplementary.

Things dey happen, when we start training some people would come for documentation after 3months self

Goodmorning fellow officers in the forum, kudos to u all for awakening the silence that has almost overtaken this house for the pass four days, I feels so motivated and inspired.God bless u all.

@ eldee, I don't blame ur perception of the whole recruitment been highly polluted, every recruitment process in the government sector is filled with corruption and political godfatherism. There's this question I would love u to answer, are there not those without any human connection getting offer of employment in places like NNPC,DPR,NIMASA,INEC,Civil Service, just to mention a few. There are my brother, why? Because God wants them there, so I need u to believe one thing, u achieve great goals in life not because of ur strength or abilities, but because its Gods will.

This is my second time applying to NPF,if I eventually get the job, praise God and if I don't make it,praise God. All I pray is for God to crown my effort with success, and any man that tries to inject his evil deeds such as deleting some candidates names and replacing with those that didn't even write the CBT, may his live be cut short.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Invitation For Written Exams For Police ICT Professional Into Nigerian Police by Ejay(f): 8:18pm On Feb 06, 2013
@ nateboijones, when u're given an appointment letter into civil service, u would be under probation for 3yrs before u become a confirmed staff. So that's why in training college u would be called cadet ASP/INSP. After training u would still be unconfirmed until ur probation period elapses and u would be a full fledged ASP/INSP. I stand to be corrected though.
