wildkat:
Africa my Africa… I weep for Africa
Na only Africa dey rig? Didn't Donald Trump complain about rigging and mail in ballots and January 6 became an insurrection because of stolen election in the US? Don't attribute everything to Africa. That's racist.
Politics › Re: Amaechi More Credible, Stronger Than Obi to Face Tinubu in 2027 - Sowunmi by ejieddy: 2:02pm On Jan 16
Ttalk:
My point is who will bankroll ADC in the presidential election. Those that stole money and ran to ADC are being picked one after the other while others like El Rufai are scared of spending their money now when they have 2031 to contend with.

The permutation doesn't favour opposition, my advice to Peter Obi is to decamp to APC
Hmmm... This would have been plausible and a better advice but APC isn't the kind of party that he can thrive. Too many corrupt people and. After Tinubu's term, the influence of APC won't be strong and Nigeria is moving away from this corrupt set up. APC is surviving because of Tinubu and like him or hate him, the man is a strong man, probably the strongest politician Nigeria has ever produced. But when he's done, it would be left for the wolves as he'll be too old, just like PDP and obasanjo.

bewla:
Ok settle this matter with money
Give the girl money let her and her money no this just to help them start life
You are not the father
She will come back for more if he succumbs. I feel he would have given her some money after the previous DNA tests, so they already see this as a format for extortion. Davido actually has a kind heart, so he is pissed because he sees this as blackmail for money

Politics › Re: Katsina Governor To Release 70 Bandits After Peace Deal by ejieddy: 7:29pm On Jan 12
I just wonder how Nigeria would truly have been without the North... What is this for crying out loud? The North truly is a burden on Nigeria's greatness and shared prosperity with the kind of leaders they have and the version of their religion they follow
Politics › Re: Ekpoma Youths In Edo Attack Fulani Settlements Over Kidnappings (Video) by ejieddy: 5:06pm On Jan 11
This should be enough to declare a state of emergency... State on emergency on security and kidnapping and a SOE in Edo State but no... Na APC State. I don't blame them though... They voted for someone that's more concerned about the cap you were to exco meeting... Shame. We deserve our leaders.

Politics › Re: Over 140m Nigerians May Become Poorer By December - PriceWaterhouseCoopers(PwC) by ejieddy: 7:11am On Jan 08
Kemetian:
My OPINION completely aligns with the AI analysis.

The economic reforms are painful, but are setting Nigeria on the path to GLORY.

Tinubu will take Nigeria to the next level.

In fact, he's already taking us there.

The absolute worst thing we can do now is vote in another party that will destroy the reforms and overturn all this sacrifice we've made for the future, just so they can return to chopping money and doing nothing!!!!!!
We will vote another party in whether you like it or not. 140m people isn't a joke. It's not even accounting those that already have nothing and are already poorer. Tinubu has failed, and all his cronies are doing is worry about Pitobi changing party. He promised to fix power, but all he ended up doing is create a caste and racist system in the power sector by calling some people Band A, and others who he feels should be poor Band D. So those ones don't deserve the good things of life. Security gets worse by the day and all the money saved from subsidy only empowers him to borrow more and more. That's failure. If this was your company, you won't think twice before sacking him.

Politics › Re: Consumers Pay ₦1.13 Trillion Electricity Bill Despite Blackouts by ejieddy: 8:12am On Jan 07
seunmsg:
Apart from occasional times when the national grid has issues, most Nigerian households enjoy a minimum of 15-20 hours of electricity in urban areas. So, which blackouts are they talking about?
I don't know the household you are talking about... We go days without power. Speak for yourself. Don't hype a failing ministry or administration. 7hrs power maybe, but stretching it to 15 hrs is a lie from the pit of hell. Through out late last year was terrible. Sometimes Days unending without power. You can't even store food anymore and that makes it very difficult to save. So pls speak for yourself.

Akwa Ibom should work on Human development.. Enough of the roads and Overhead bridges. Their indigenes are not empowered. No industries. Just Keke and pos and filling station businesses everywhere. No real Jobs.
Well said. But people will say it's beautiful and fine, which it actually is. But they need more empowerment and industrialization

Events › Re: What Are The Events / Things That You Are Thankful To God For In 2025? by ejieddy: 4:43pm On Dec 31, 2025
God delivered my son from death and sickness... He's so fine now, and healthy. That was probably the most trying moment this year.

I was one of those that foolishly entered CBEX. Lost a million naira and was in debt of over another million... But as at today, God helped in clearing those debts without borrowing. Just Favour, mercy, hard work and faith. All debts cleared, we got good contracts that opened international doors. Jesus did it. He kept supplying our needs, and taught me to trust him completely.

My inlaw almost lost his life in an SUV. The car tumbled, though I heard it was on high speed. The car was totalled. It was gotten for N16m, it was this new GL series as at 6 years ago. I am beginning to believe this theory of lack of balance.

Let them go and eat their live stocks at home. Our greediness will one day bring down our country if we don't caution ourselves.

Christmas is a season of love but our traders will always make it a season of agony. Imagine selling a chicken for 30-45K, this are normal chicken of 10-15K but because it is Christmas season, everyone want to cash out.
God bless you for this. How will I buy chicken for that amount? Told my wife to join contribution to buy beef...N25k beef was so much, with different assorted. Just bought small 5k frozen chicken because of fried rice. Let them eat their chicken

These politicians do not ever learn. At the moment Yayi is even more popular than the sitting governor. Popular in all corners of the state and especially among the non-yorubas which is a significant voting block. He has a solid structure and has been spending money long before now. Only God and TINUBU can stop him.
As a non Yoruba resident in Ota for 33 years now, I know no other person apart from Yayi. We know no other person apart from Yayi. I am probably an indegene 😂
Business › Re: Dangote, Finally Explains Why His Cement Is Cheaper Outside Nigeria by ejieddy: 5:44am On Dec 22, 2025
yinkus6750:
His bringing PMS price down cos his refinery monopoly was been challenged by the cabals who wanted to frustrate him.
However, when BUA reduced price of cement, he didn't see the need to toe same path , been the highest producer of cement.
It's just unfortunate they busy reasoning is off ,despite the huge volume of raw materials within the country.
Simple question. Did BUA need Dangote to keep his price low? If he truly wanted to bring down the price, he would have maintained his price just like Dangote maintained his petrol price and every other person had to follow or lose customers. There are no emotions or sentiments in business.

abc115:
WHY I’LL VOTE FOR PRESIDENT TINUBU IN 2027

✅ To see Nigeria hit the $1 trillion GDP milestone.
✅ To witness the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway completed.
✅ To watch the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX) grow exponentially.
✅ To experience a truly private sector–driven economy.
✅ To see the naira trade below ₦1,000/$ without CBN intervention.
✅ To see our foreign reserves exceed $70 billion.
✅ To drive on the Sokoto–Badagry Highway and watch the North export with ease.
✅ To see State and Local Government Police become reality; for a safer Nigeria.
✅ To see the Pride of Africa reclaim its place as the continent’s most vibrant economy.
✅ To see crude oil production hit 3 million bpd, gas exported to Morocco, and lithium powering our industries.
✅ To complete the 2nd and 3rd phases of the Siemens Power Project, raising capacity above 20,000 MW.
✅ To see an economy funded by fair taxation, where the rich pay more and the proceeds uplift the poor.

Nigeria deserves a reformer, performer, and visionary.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ticks all the boxes.

Copied
All this without constant power is zero. I will only vote for Tinubu of he fixes one thing, power. If he can achieve power, he has my vote and campaign. Other things are mostly speculative and have no direct bearing on my livelyhood.

He's following the law.

The executive has pardon powers.
The court didn't set aside the pardon powers of the president, it only said the matter is still in court on appeal grounds. He can re-exercise those powers now that the court has concluded proceedings.

Medicine is not for the clingy faint hearted, they will leave you during a romantic dinner date or during intimacy to attend to an emergency... grin grin grin

Before agreeing to get married to anyone in the field, just make sure you'll have your own life outside of the marriage.
This isn't true. They all have shifts and rosters. During their office days, you can always have a great time.
