I restarted the phone and restored factory setting. I checked my Opay account and noticed my money was gone. . How do i get my money back? Account operated and later money vanished from it.You have a strong case against Opay. The truths are two: First , some fraudsters are in the banking system. They compromise information with fraudsters outside. Second, we should limit the amount of money kept with the fintech banks without nearby branches. They may be funny occasionally Keep pressing up ,the identity of the fraudsters will be revealed soon |

Family › Re: How Do Men Become Bold, Fearless And Confrontational? by ejimatic: 9:17am On May 12 |
iyke484real: Good evening fellow Nairalanders.
Something happened today that has really made me question myself as a man, and I sincerely need honest advice from mature minds here.
Earlier today, my younger one went to the field to play football. After some time, he came back home crying seriously with blood rushing from his head. According to him, he had an altercation with someone much bigger than him, and the person picked up a stick and hit him on the head.
Immediately, I became angry and asked him to take me to the field to identify the person that injured him. Deep down, I was expecting myself to react aggressively because I felt any normal man would naturally defend his younger one and confront the person strongly.
When we got there and I saw the guy, something happened to me. Instead of fighting or causing a serious scene, I just started asking questions about what happened. I couldn’t bring myself to react violently or aggressively the way many people probably would have. I eventually carried my younger one and went back home.
Since then, I have been feeling ashamed and disappointed in myself.
The painful part is that this is not the first time I have noticed this about myself. I always seem to avoid problems, confrontations, or situations that may escalate. Even when I am angry, I still start thinking about consequences, expenses, police issues, public embarrassment, injuries, and other complications that may arise if things get out of hand.
Because of this, I often withdraw instead of standing my ground fully.
Now I am beginning to feel like I am too timid and not confrontational enough as a man should be. Sometimes I feel weak, powerless, and unable to command respect the way other men do. I see some people react boldly in difficult situations while I keep overthinking consequences and avoiding escalation.
Honestly, it is affecting the way I see myself.
Please, I need sincere advice from experienced people here:
- How can someone stop being too timid or fearful? - How do you become more confident and confrontational when necessary? - How do you stand your ground as a man without always retreating? - Is this kind of behavior weakness, or is there another way to look at it? - What practical things can I start doing to become mentally stronger and more assertive?
I would genuinely appreciate honest advice, especially from men who may have struggled with similar issues before overcoming them. Thank God for your life.Your personality will make you live long. There is nothing good in being confrontational. You can however express yourself on matters without violence .Keep enjoying your life! |

Omooba77: Arsenal continues to push by travelling to London rival, West Ham. With 3 more games...... #COYG......... The yard of the goalkeeper is sacred in football. You can block his face and deceive him there. However you should not touch his body ,draw his jersey ,choke him and put your body on him.Any goal scored in this process will be cancelled. That is exactly what happened yesterday. Raya was choked ,His jersey was even drawn and Pablo even put him down to prevent him from taking the ball. This is a foul in the small goalkeeper yard..That is why the goal was disallowed. If it took place in the large box 18 ,it would accepted as a goal. The cancellation of the goal is in order. Congratulations to Arsenal! |
Education › Re: Popular Short Codes We Used In Secondary School To Remember Things by ejimatic: 6:45pm On May 07 |
guobe: Earlier in the week, I had a conversation with a friend of mine who is a chemistry teacher and asked him if he taught his students short codes to remember elements in chemistry and he said he didn't know of it.
I told him that in my secondary school days, there was a short code we used and it made us to remember it .
The short code was He Has Large Brain But Can Not Offer Full Nine Subjects May All Silly Painters Stop Colouring Articles Kept Carelessly. The first letters represent the elements like Hydrogen, Hellium,Boron,Carbon,Nitrogen, Oxygen, Fluorine,Neon etc.
Other popular short codes were MRNIGERD for characteristics of a living thing with M for movement, R for respiration, For nutrition, I for irritability G for growth e for excretion, R for reproduction while D for death.
A lot of codes in those days that really helped,I wonder if this generation still make use of it. Kubi Salewa Kubisaleh. The capital of ancient Gold Coast |

treesun: https://dailypost.ng/2026/04/17/2027-why-tinubu-should-be-scared-adc/ It is disturbing that ADC is weak in opposition. It is true that PBAT has policies that require review especially on fuel matters. However where is the opposition now? APC was stronger in 2015 because many governors decamped to the party. How many Governors will leave APC now and decamp to ADC? Kwankwaso is only known in Kano? Can he win in NE and NC? Atiku is known in NE ,can he win in any other states apart from Adamawa? Can Obi win in the North East ,NW and NC SS and SW? It is untinkable to expect a party with 32 governors to lose an election! If the election comes tomorrow ,PBAT will win again. That is my opinion. |

Politics › Re: Some Expected Outcomes With The Implementation Of The “Electronic Transmission” by ejimatic: 5:02pm On Mar 18 |
I'm BluntCrazeMan: SOME EXPECTED OUTCOMES WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEWLY INCLUDED “ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION” INSIDE THE NEWLY ENACTED “ELECTORAL ACT 2026”.
1. Most of the Presiding Officers would transmit the results from the Polling-Units with the BVAS Machines as usual; but then, THE TRANSMITTED RESULTS WOULD MOST-DEFINITELY NOT BE VISIBLE ON THE IREV PORTAL IMMEDIATELY. This is just exactly the way it had always been happening in all those past elections where there was no direct provision for the “Electronic Transmission” inside the Electoral Act --- But now, according to the requirements of the new Electoral Act 2026, “the Presiding Officer shall ELECTRONICALLY TRANSMIT the results from each polling unit to IREV Portal”. This means that there is not supposed to be much delays between the time when the transmission was done and the time when the transmitted results appear on the IREV Portal --- except of course if (and only “if”) there is “communication failure”, then that would be the only “excuse” why the transmitted results may not appear immediately on the IREV Portal.
2. Some of the Presiding Officers wouldn't even do any transmission of any results in the first place --- and they will quickly declare that “THERE IS COMMUNICATION FAILURE”; and that the “transmission” itself even refused to work from the BVAS Machines.
3. Some of the Presiding Officers would genuinely try the transmission of the results many times, BUT THE TRANSMISSION FROM THE BVAS MACHINES WOULD ACTUALLY REFUSE TO WORK, not to talk of the results appearing on the IREV Portal. And then, the INEC would end up Not providing the reasons or excuse for such failures which were not as a result of “Communication Failure” of any sort.
4. Due to some sharp games which might be played by the INEC Officials at the different levels of the results management, there might end up being up to five different versions of THE SAME Polling-Unit Results.. a) the INEC’s version which are provided in the CTCs b) the BVAS version which were captured and stored inside the BVAS Machines c) the IREV version which were successfully transmitted to the IREV-Portal. d) the PARTIES Duplicate version which were the duplicate copies that were given to the PARTIES. e) the POLICE Duplicate version which were the duplicate copies that were given to the POLICE. All these five versions of the results are fully supported by the Electoral Act, and they are all supposed to be the same thing all through. If at any point, there are discrepancies between any two or all of the five versions of the same results, then it becomes a clear case of “Institutional Manipulation of Results.
5. All of the above-mentioned scenarios would definitely happen on the Election Day, and still nobody would say (or do) anything about them, and FINAL RESULTS would still be announced --- (even when the discrepancies in the various versions of THE SAME RESULTS are very clearly visible to everyone). Be wasting time on election that has been won already by the BAT. |
