If a man around you constantly says, "I am fine," take a moment to genuinely check on him. Sometimes the people who appear strongest are carrying the heaviest burdens.

One honest conversation can save a life. One listening ear can restore hope. Silence has never solved mental health problems. Compassion, understanding, and timely support can.

There is no divorce certificate but judgement legally ending the marriage. The judgement will include Degree nissil( That is both parties would wait for three months before they enter another marriage since an appeal may be instituted by either of the parties against the judgement.)


Note : If a couple contracts a statutory marriage,only the High Court can end the marriage not a magistrate court or a customary court .


If it is a traditional marriage, the return of the bride price is enough to end the marriage.. If requested a customary court can issue a document of judgement divorcing both of them. This however is not compulsory in Law.

Under Nigeria’s Electoral Act and the 1999 Constitution (as amended), the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) can deregister a political party. The power comes from Section 225A of the Constitution, which was added by the Fourth Alteration, No. 9 Act, 2017.

Legal grounds for deregistration

1. Breach of registration requirements

• Failing to meet the conditions in Section 222 for registration: proper registration of national officers, submission of constitution to INEC, national spread, etc. •Any violation of the requirements an association must satisfy to operate as a political party.

2. Failure to meet minimum electoral performance thresholds

INEC may deregister a party if it fails to win:

Lawmakers have also argued that parties that don’t field candidates, lack structures, or only litigate without participating should be deregistered. INEC has said more parties could be deregistered “so long as they fail to meet the requirement of the law”.
