talk2tosep: How many hausa know nairaland!who should we be fighting with here? have you at least condemned the killing of yorubas by the ordinary hausa fulanis? Tinubu does not care about the yorubas but about his cake share at the center. what of the oba of Lagos? |

amiskurie: Because they are not filled with hatred, they are very cohabitable people.
Goan die But what of oba of lagos who threatened the igbos if they did not vote his choice candidate? But now the hausa are about to install the new emir of Lagos and he is not saying anything. |

Politics › Hausa And Yoruba War: Why Are Nairaland Yoruba E-warriors Cold? by ekafine(op): 5:05pm On Mar 05, 2016 |
I am yet to get it! why are yoruba e-warriors calm and cold since the past 2 days the Hausa-fulanis have been pounding on them? Where are the likes of aresa, superstar2, dropshot, ekoile, passingshot, ngeneukwenu, orlandoOwoh, clerverly, modith, gbawe, etc.
Why are yorubas even the ones on nairaland so cowardly that none of them have come out to at least condemn this Hausa actions even if they can't threaten or give ultimatum. At least let them say something in retaliation, even if they can't come out in the open to say it.
Where is the Oba of Lagos when you need him to save his subjects? Is he still in Mecca or Medina for lesser Hajj?
Why are yorubas proving to us that truly they are slaves to the hausa fulani?
I repeat it again, Hausa cannot try this type of nonsense in Akwaibom. |

More reason why we must not allow APC in Akwaibom State. Imo state people should continue to pay for electing a non performing looter. |
Politics › Okorocha Flees Nigeria As EFCC Queries Diversion of 2bn bailout- Thisday by ekafine(op): 6:32am On Mar 05, 2016*. Modified: 8:03am On Mar 05, 2016 |
Imo state governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, has jetted out of the country as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) beams the searchlight on the alleged diversion of over N2 billion from the bailout fund given to the state by the federal government for the payment of civil servants salaries. The EFCC had rounded up three senior aides of the governor in connection of the diversion of the bailout money. Those arrested by the commission included the principal secretary to the governor, Dr. Paschal Obi, who was until his appointment a deputy director in the Ministry of Health, in charge of optical services, Director of Finance, Government House, Casmir Uzoho, and Government House Treasurer, Iheoma Kenneth. Okorocha, who had expressed regrets for accessing the bailout fund from the federal government lamented that the money had put the state in a mess.
According to him, the N26 billion the state took from the Federal Government that was used to pay agitating workers has put Imo in trouble as more money is being deducted from the state’s federal allocation than anticipated. http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/03/04/okorocha-jets-out-of-nigeria-as-efcc-queries-diversion-of-n2bn-bailout/

Politics › Re: "We Can't Pay Salaries, Imo Is Broke" – Okorocha by ekafine(f): 4:59pm On Jan 28, 2016 |
Chiwude: Imo is not broke. Okorocha should quit saying such trash. for the first time Rochas is facing the reality. You want your governor to lie that all is well when in actual sense the State is broke, down and out? whoever that will rule imo state next will have to beg for another state to annex imo state. APC should stay very far from Akwaibom. |

Shymm3x: This arresa guy is a clown.
He basically just posted shitty pictures of mediocre projects and pictures of private industrial estates and companies. Yet he wants folks to celebrate this utter failure. Even the vicinity of the lousy projects look like they're stuck in the 20s.
The current governor, past governors, and OBJ ought to be thoroughly flogged in the market square for how messed up the state looks. Arresa here! |
Politics › Re: Ogun State In Focus. Amosun In Action...pics.. by ekafine(f): 4:07pm On Jan 28, 2016 |
Shymm3x: Lol. These obtuse loafers and paid hacks know better than to question my Yorubaness cos they all know I'm more Yoruba than they will ever be. Being Yoruba is about being ingrained in the virtues of the Yoruba ancestors who placed priorities on excellence, hard work, and creativity - not mediocrity and lack of achievements.
The only thing these folks are good for is waving non-existent and castrated dycks with Igbos about which of the two regions is more backward. Apart from that, they're just as useless as the walking utter failure of leaders they exalt.
Ogun state is a disgrace. I've been trying to collate pictures of the state for weeks now and there's absolutely nothing presentable to post from the state. Heck, even Ondo and Ekiti are far ahead of the state in terms of infrastructures. And as bad as Ibadan is, it's light years ahead of Ogun state. Yet this clown is posting pictures of lousy projects and companies.
Based on how decent the architecture of the old buildings in Abeokuta looks - I'd even wager that Ogun state in 1920 when those buildings were still new should be better than what it's today. Yet the state like all the other Yoruba states are swimming in an ocean of debts. It's just shameful and pathetic. Arresa how do you react to this your brother? Lol |
Politics › Re: Ogun State In Focus. Amosun In Action...pics.. by ekafine(f): 6:27am On Jan 28, 2016 |
Shymm3x: Shut ya gob before I smack the amala that corroded ya brain cells out of ya putrid mouth. Ogun state is an effing disgrace to all Yorubas - dead and alive. That's meant to be a state next to Lagos and a state occupied by two of the most prominent Yoruba subgroups that have produced arguably the most prominent Yoruba sons and daughters, yet the darn state still looks like it never left the 1920s.
Take a look at the Egba part, and Abeokuta that's meant to be the capital of the state here: http://www.viewphotos.org/nigeria/images-of-Abeokuta-440.html Don't even let me post pictures of the Ijebu part of the state that was posted in the culture section last year, cos that's even far worse than Abeokuta. Even Ekiti looks better than Ogun.
Is that something to be proud of? You lot are just so ridiculously dumb and stupid that you can't see how effed up you're and you revel in lauding mediocrity and non-achievements. And the idiot spammed everywhere with pictures of companies and industrial estates that were built in the 60s by the western region, yet the state and the whole of the SW is heavily indebted. Just STFU before I smack the shyte of you, prick. You are one yoruba that I respect for your sincerity and love for the real development of your people. Arresa likes to live in denial and illusion than face reality. Cc: AtlanticBreeze |

Flyoruboy: Yinmu. No be you? The same Punch you quoted has been vilified by you and your fellow hypocrites many a times for reporting news that don't favour your y'all -- remember 'Lagos-Ibadan expressway propaganda media' appellation you all call her and the rest? I'm sure you will pull up SaharaReporters (another news source you all love to hate) sef if you fit. Ogun will conviniently swallow up no less than 4 Anambra village-states and change go remain. You and everyone else have seen the quality of housing estates and infrastructures in Ogun displayed on this thread, nothing of the sort and quality exists in the entire SE region = FACT. You should be thanking Elombah for bringing you the same news you are rejecting, at least now you know that Obiano is a scam. I never bought into the hype anyway. you mean this? This is Abeokuta, where is the quality housing here? This is not meant to run your state down but it is the true picture of houses in the state. smh 4 u- eket1stdaughter

AshiwajuFoward: Akuko. Lol. Your bitterness reeks like conk otapiapia. Oluwole bureau of statistics? LMAO! I know say e dey pain you for body. That city will forever be the boss of your entire SE glorified villages. Even the Cocoa house you alluded to, till today una still never fit build anything that comes close to it, after more than 40 years, in the entire SE. Face Aba abeg. I can smell the stench of Aba oozing outta my macbook. Stop bragging, yoruba land is a stone-age. Is it not the same ibadan you are talking about?

Politics › Re: Is There A Governor In Oyo State? by ekafine(f): 8:19pm On Jan 24, 2016 |
AshiwajuFoward: Yeah, Oyo may be in shambles compared to a Lagos or Abuja, but certainly not any state in the SE. Even shambles sef get levels. Ibadan is not comparable to anything in SS and SE. Even my little Eket is by far decently developed than ibadan. Ibadan is better demolished than standing.

Politics › Re: Is There A Governor In Oyo State? by ekafine(f): 6:41pm On Jan 24, 2016 |
The truth be told development in the yoruba land stopped since awo built the cocoa house. It is clear from the above picture. |
Politics › Re: Is There A Governor In Oyo State? by ekafine(f): 6:38pm On Jan 24, 2016 |
ODVanguard: Smh. It's obvious that you Igbos need psychological re-engineering. Seriously. The civil war loss has done irreparable damage to your collective self-esteem. So much so that you feel you always have to override it by being obnoxious. You for one are a coward, always hiding under different monikers to act a fool. Ibadan still attracts more non-indigenes daily than any of your cities in the SE (which are depopulating by the day due to lack of opportunities beyond buying and selling/trading), coz Ibadan offers more opportunities for success than anywhere in any SE state. I can understand your frustrations with the Yorubas though, but quite frankly, it is bad for your health. Like I said earlier, Oyo state (a non-oil producing state) ranks higher than your best performing state in your region (Imo) as well as Anambra GDP-wise , ditto IGR-wise. The state has yet to fire any worker let alone 3000 as recently done by Imo. You people are hopeless. So opportunities now mean rustic r oofs and muds houses? Ibadan is still in the stone-age like the entire yoruba land.

^^is it this same ibadan or another ibadan? I recommend that ibadan should be demolished to the ground. what you have in ibadan is nothing but a sea of rustic red roofs and mud houses. I shake my head for you guys whenever you talk of development.

PassingShot: EFCC is busy with corruption cases that took place at federal level. Let each state prosecute their state's treasury looters. It's five months since Wike vowed to implement report of his panel on Amaechi, what is stopping him since? The same EFCC arrested and even detained my own gov akpabio! |
Politics › Evidence Magu, EFCC Chairman Lied On ‘No Petition Against APC Members-Thewhistle by ekafine(op): 11:32am On Jan 08, 2016 |
EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu has told a lie. He Magu, recently told the press that his agency has not received any petition against members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He made this statement in response to mounting accusations that the EFCC under his leadership is being used as a tool for political witch hunt. His words; “Such accusations have come up a lot, but we work with petitions before us. In fact, I am eager and waiting for something from the other side, but nothing has come so far,” he said.
But here is a proof of a petition received by the EFCC and duly acknowledged against the former Rivers state Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, who is not just a party leader within the APC ranks but Nigeria’s Minister of Transport and Aviation. See Evidence below: Source: http://www.thewhistleng.com/see-evidence-magu-efcc-chair-lied-on-no-petition-against-apc-members-comment/#sthash.o3WF884I.dpufThe question is why is EFCC dragging their feet over immediate arrest of Amaechi? Amaechi, Fashola, Tinubu, Obj should be in jail before we can take Buhari seriously.
