FreeGlobe: When in Port Harcourt can you compare with independence layout? Can you compare Enugu GRA with PH GRA. Ph that has only one expressway? PH is overrated, there is more money in ph yes but Enugu is a better city than PH.. I don't think you know Enugu Apart from the fact that there is more money in Ph, there is equally very beautiful areas like old GRA, cocain estate etc that suppases anything enugu has to offer. Enugu is a very tiny town compare to Ph. I bet you are not even resident in enugu because I can't imagine a youngster living in enugu. Its quite unpleasant. |

FreeGlobe: Enugu is finer than ph, believe it or not. Ph is overrated. You can't compare... We have argued this severally on nairaland... Spacetour I'm still waiting for you.. I am loaded with pics I am i say it is not. I have been to both cities and I know that Enugu is very far behind Ph |

ibadanfinest: Bros I said Uyo is in the south south. South South has no 'east word' in it. If u are referring to the old eastern region then delta state should not be in your analysis because the old bendel state(Ben for Benin while Del for delta) were part of the old western region before the formation of mid-west. Are u 12 years old, how can u call someone who legitimately correct u an illiterate. You must be one hell of an ingrate. the old man is sounding like a bitter frustrated person. smh |

Afam4eva: Go and open your own thread and discuss illiteracy there. Dullard. excuse me? do you actually insulted a woman? are you supposed to be a mod? seun is this the sort of arrogants moderating for you? well this is not your webnews so we have to put things right but saying it the way it is. i still insist that a city is a product of the state so all must be judged generally. if you don't like it vamoose. |

Afam4eva: @iliterates Pls, this thread was opened to compare cities and not states. Read the original post again or go back to school. you are the illiterate here because you cannot divorce a city which is a product of the state. In other words city or town is inside the state so all of them must be judged generally. This is the same mentality Africa is backward. |

FreeGlobe: Does Rivers state start and end in PH? Have you been to Emilia? Agreed the Whole enugu is not developed, ditto for Rivers state, but if we want to compare Enugu capital with PH, I think Enugu is more beautiful and planned. Fact I am not here to argue with anybody, i only said what I saw. was it not the same enugu capital that we passed to garriki park? Enugu is messed with its red and dirty environment. Have you been to garriki park, is like where animals live. Ples, do not for once compare Ph to enugu. enugu has a long way to go yet. I really do not fashie the place one bit. |

FreeGlobe: hehehehe, you are just ignorant.. If you want to see mud houses go to buguma, go to Khana, these are real villages in Rivers state It is not true, i schooled in uniport. you cannot compare Rivers to Enugu state. Its world apart. greater part of Enugu state is undeveloped and lacked human capital. I have been there few years back. Enugu people should focus on development of their state because what i saw at Igboetit is still ringing in my head. seeing huts was very common over there, to the extent that i decided to go back the same day because i couldn't sleep there. |

Chinachriss: Do you think I am a dunce like you? You need to travel okay. I travel a lot so I know what I am saying. I was born and bred in Aba, currently schooling in Uyo and spend ma hol with my friends and relatives in Rivers state. I have also gone for hols in Enugu, Kaduna and Abuja. Will be going to Edo for xmas hols. Not ma fault sha. Just step out and travel out. The last time I went to Enugu, I was seriously unhappy seeing Enugu state virtually empty. You can travel for about 20 kilometres without seeing a single hut cos you guys have huts in your villages. Hahahaha. Just travel to Imo, Anambra Akwa Ibom and Rivers. You will be astonished seeing lively populated village towns. In Imo, the Mbaise- Mbano- Mbaitolu- Ikeduru- Isu- Nkwerre - Orlu axis is heavily populated despite many Imolites reside in their hundreds of thousands outside Imo state. In Aba, we are more than the native Ngwa in the city. Go round and check and stop blabbering. you are very correct. the day i went to somewhere at igboetiti in enugu state for a trad. i was so disappointed in enugu state. i was seeing huts after huts. they have empty land and very low population and very little development. |

Yorrrobbers do not like the truth. Discuss Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has said that all States must look inward for survival as funds coming to them from the federation account can no longer support their development projects.
He said, “We must at this point tell ourselves the truth, there is no money coming from the Federation account, 34 million barrels of Nigeria’s crude oil are on the sea without buyers”.
“Money coming from the Federation Account has dipped seriously and our hope for survival is in our hands, what our forefathers lived on was agriculture.
“We must now go back to the farms and work. We also need to pay our taxes so that government can meet its responsibilities”.
“For September, our state got N55.8 million. The money we received cannot pay for the power supply by Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) that we use at the state Secretariat monthly”, The Governor lamented.

qreem231: Every race with its own culture and tradition, the king visiting the forest is one of the traditional rites,im very sure the brits have their own rites which must be followed religiously. P.S Yorubas and Africa generally are learners beside the brits when it comes to being fetish. show me the fetishness of britons below alone is the end product(backwardness) of this constant forest visitation by the yorubas. they will never learn

IlekeHD: Lol funny. You sound like you came into this thread with an amputated brain
Yes, Yoruba's population is 60+ million, so logic would have it that we'd be popular for it, even thouigh other tribes do "fetish" stuff, especially igbos.
I say name the tribes that don't do fetish stuff......stop foaming in the mouth. u leave igbos out of your nonsense you this wounded old woman. are you actually paid for being online on nairaland 24/7? don't you at least have something doing than camping on nairaland? by the way have you made up with shym3x? i had you wanted to snatch him away in your usual manner? get a life out there madam. |

Or are you from Akwa Ibom where they still kill child witches? Which tribe in Nigeria aren't involved in "fetish", as you call it?
Name them and let's talk about it. stop sounding like a wounded woman. yorubas are the most fetish tribe in nigeria. accept the truth for once. |

IlekeHD: Don't igbos do fetish things? Don't igbos do rituals in their evil forest and okija shrine?
Must you lick the white's azz?
House slave. i am neither igbo nor yoruba. as a neutral person, i see yorubas as rather too fetish and mentally backward. just look at what it had to take them to get a mere oba for one rural town of ife. |
Culture › Re: Ooni, Enitan Ogunwusi, Returns From The Forest With The Traditional Crown by ekafine(f): 5:31pm On Nov 23, 2015 |
IlekeHD: It's you that's backwards.
Why don't you ask Britian to end the Queen/Princess/Monarchy nonsense. Brainwashed pygmy. me think that yorubas are rather too barbaric and stark backward in their thinking and way of life. you made mention of the british, do the british do fetish things like the yorubas did with their oba? why is the oba had to go to the forest? probably to fortify himself for merely world dirty throne in the backward yorubaland?

This is true of yourubas. I served in osogbo, it is very common with yourobas. They useful defecate in the waterproof inside their house and throw it into the gutter. Others poo on nearby bush or drainage. I think unicef has youroba in mind when compiling this. |
