Politics / Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by ekafine(f): 1:47pm On Nov 20, 2015
Mohammed Fawehinmi, eldest
son of the late foremost legal
practitioner, Gani Fawehimi,
has lambasted the governors
of Oyo, Ondo and Osun states
over their alleged failure to
develop the states.
He specifically demanded the
impeachment of the governor
of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi,
by the state House of
Assembly.
Mr. Fawehinmi stated this on
Thursday while delivering a
lecture at the Obafemi
Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,
Osun State.
The lecture, entitled “Youths
Impact in Free and Fair
Elections,” which was second
in the series, was organized in
honour of the legal
practitioner, who died in
September 2009.
According to him, the three
south west states have
remained at the same level of
decadence because of the
refusal of the governors to
make any meaningful impact
since the governors assumed
office.
“Oyo State is a shadow of
herself from what it used to
be,” Mr. Fawehimi said.
“Everywhere is very bad and
it is something that is
unbecoming, I clamour for
impeachment of Oyo state
Governor Ajimobi”
“Since he is incapable he
should be impeached from the
government. The last few
years in Oyo has been very
bad. I passed through the
place and I was unhappy.”
He also said there had been
no major improvement in the
State of Osun under Governor
Rauf Aregbesola, “except that when I got
to a part of the state I saw a new statue;
everything looks unchanged, nothing so
new or no improvement.”
He also accused Governor Olusegun
Mimiko for alleged “underperformance.”
Mr. Fawehinmi said but for the efforts
made by the students of the university,
his father would have died without
earning the title of Senior Advocate of
Nigeria.
According to him, it was the students of
the institution who awarded the late
lawyer the title “Senior Advocate of the
Masses,” that they now conferred on him
the prestigious title of SAN.”
He said, “My father would have died a
man without the apex title and would
have being robbed of what he deserves if
not for the effort of OAU Students.
“Nobody knows the role OAU students
played; it would have been miserably
painful for my family.”
Mr. Fawehinmi also accused OAU
management of falling below standard
and not paying attention to areas of needs
of the university.
He claimed that the institution had lost its
glory and could not boast of the standards
it was known for.
“I went to the hostels in your school
(OAU) and it is a shame. When I saw the
living conditions of students, it is even
dangerous for your health as students. It
is time to call the attention of the Federal
Government to the sorry state of this
school.”
The President of OAU Students Union,
Omotayo Akande, criticized the
administration of President Muhammadu
Buhari over its plan to pay N5000 to each
unemployed Nigerian youth.
He said, “We have lots of decadence in
the education sector that needs attention
and all the president can think of is
investment of over one trillion naira in
paying young unemployed graduates,
does he mean graduates are worth just
N5000? He is only compounding woes of
Nigerian youths.”

I have always said that we should concentrate heavily on the Efik/Ibibio.

These guys are the most reliable group of people in the Niger Delta, even Ojukwu's deputy was from the Efik/Ibibio in the person of Philip Efiong.

This was the man that stood to hand over the Biafran surrender letter to Nigeria, risking his life.

I love the Efik/Ibibio more than any other tribe in the SS.

and to even think that the guy is from osun. let me tell u i served in osun state 3yrs ago, it is a luxury to find a house with an ordinary toilet in osogbo. the place is so rural that u will walk several miles before you can see a house built with cement block/brick. their homes are usually built with mud and thereafter they will use cement to plaster the mud. they are too poor..abeg. very early in the morning you will see them with black waterproof walking down the street looking for where to drop the sh1t they pooed in their houses

Politics / Biafra: Why Akwa-Ibom And Cross-River Shall Support Biafra Agitation by ekafine(f): 9:08am On Nov 09, 2015
only on one basis shall we support biafra agitation. if the the capital of the new biafra is sited in akwa-ibom or cross-river then the possibility of achieving biafra is 85% done. we have the capacity to produce resources to build a biafra that will stand dubai and asian tigers. we have the resources to place the new biafra on the world map to sit side by side with the 8 most industrialized developed countries of the world. we have done it in akwa-ibom with our resources and we shall replicate it in the larger biafra territory. uyo shall be the capital of the new biafra republic.

According to Odumakin,

“With the uncouth, rude and insensitive
remarks of Kwankwaso and his ilk in the North
which are like pouring salt on injury, it is
coming clear to us that there may be a grand
agenda with the activities of the Fulani
herdsmen either as an advance party of Boko Haram into our territory or an expansionist
project.

We warned the mugus(yelowba) to be weary of these blood-thirsty beast before the election, but they foolishly ignored our warnings. Today, the yelowbas are weeping while the Fulani are basking in the euphoria of raping yeroba women, killing their men, kidnapping their elders and taking over their farms. Ntorrrrr!

i don't really blame the yorrobers because i suspected cut a deal with their northern masters so that they do not take ibadan the same way they took ilorin grin grin

Lalasticala, while you are at it, you may also want to save the flatron slaves from gully erosion from their political masters.

I mean, their masters have overrun Imo state, rivers state and akwa Ibos state.

To make their slavery status more disturbing, they have sold their birthrights, APGA, for morsel to meat, APC, PDP.

As if that is not enough, their youth corpers are adopting their masters religion, same for their igwes becoming Muslims.

Consequently, they require fast redemption before they are completely annihilated.

Don't you think so lalasticala?

akwaibom is the best governed state in nigeria and it is under pdp

they killed and took ilorin from them and subsequently installed emir at ilorin. now the masters are here again to extend their jihad to oyo and osun. we need to help yorubas this time. their leaders are being kidnapped on a daily basis by buhari brothers whom they equally voted in the last election. what hasn't Yorubas done to please their masters but they are still haunted. now they have asked their leaders to SHUT UP, what an insult? i make bold to say that fulanis cannot try this nonsense in akwaibom or all of them will disappear.

you see, its very funny how you guys masturbatez over the word "slave and master" grin and yet, you are the ones who scream about suffering more (which is not true though).

Fulani herdsmen ravaged everywhere including yeeboland, and we haven't heard u engaged them to death like the Yorubas once did.

but instead of you to identify your problem, you are busy laffing at the ones who's got the same problem with you and trying to solve it. that is how you people remain in your condition till now because if your elders were given dry gin and 1,000 each, they will you in a blink.

so, keep screaming slaves and masters while just recently, these same Fulani attacked a community in Enugu and you people didn't speak out abt it.

dey there dey wallow in your emptiness.

Hmmmmmmmmm.
TRUTH IS BITTER.
Most Igbos always shy away from the truth.
What the Op said is perfectly the truth, but the igbo in them wont let them see it.
They are always blaming the North for every misfortune in the East, but the truth and fact is that their leaders(igbo leaders) are supposed to be help responsible for everything bad that has happened to the East.
Take for example, it was not the federal government that build most of the new bridge we see in Kano state, but the past governor did. So also most states in the North and West, but what happens to governors in the East?
Apart from Enugu state, i cant point to any eastern governor has good. Nobody hears anything about Ebonyi state, but the fact is that, that state has been blessed with the worst governors in Nigeria. Same get for Abia, Anambra and Imo.
Call your state governors to order, or better still, stop collecting money from them during electorial campains and vote for those who will work for you.
One again, stop supporting evils all in the name of supporting your tribesmen. If they have come out to openly condemn the likes of Stella Odua, Theodore Orji etc, this people will know what they have done is wrong and will retrace their steps, but you dont expect them to change their evil ways when they are overwhelmly supported by their kinsmen. The result of that support is what you are getting now.
So please, my brothers from the landlord of the rising sun, seccession is not the solution. The solution is simply to look inwards and hold your leaders accountable.
[/s]

I find this quite hypocritical. I like the Igbos because they face reality unlike yorubas who pretend like all is well whereas they are the worst hit with bad governance, poverty and disease. I make bold to say that apart from Lagos which I often consider as a general entity for Nigerians the rest of yoruba land is worse than stone age and should be demolished to the ground so that decent development can ensue. Truth be told SE is faring far better than the SW in good governance because almost all the yoruba state had gone broke and sought for bailout. Like I said on the other thread if I have not seen the pictures of the regional capital of yoruba people I would have fallen for their propaganda. The truth be told I have been to SE most of their rural areas are by far more decently developed than ibadan that is filled with mud houses and rustic roofs. The cities of SE are more or less like comparing orange and apple because SE cities are equally by far more developed than the slums called yoruba cities. Below are the different views of yoruba cities, they are worse than the worst in Africa.
