Syrian Orphan sleeping between his parent’s grave.

Shortly after the completion of the conceptual art project by Abdel Aziz Al-Atibi, a 24-year-old Saudi Arabian photographer, on January 3, 2014; the above staged shot went viral with the above caption – misleading people into believing it showed a child whose family had been killed during the conflict in Syria.

The problem regarding the picture is that, it was not taken in Syria, and that the piles of stones were just made to look like grave. More also, the little boy did not lose his parents at all.

The art project was meant to show how a child’s love for his parents is eternal. To also help talk about the suffering that is happening in society.

Some kids might feel that their dead parents’ bodies are more affectionate to them than the people they’re living with, Al-Otaibi told beirut.

Look, it’s not true at all that my picture has anything to do with Syria. I am really shocked how people have twisted my picture, added Al-Otaibi, who debunked the fake news.

Fetus Foot.

This weird picture has fooled millions of people, since it started spreading like wildfire on social media. The footprint on this picture is completely fake, because, there is no way a fetus foot could show through the muscles, uterus and fat like this.

The “tree that ate a bicycle.”

Report that went viral on facebook was that, the owner of the bicycle abandoned it against the tree when he went for war in late 1940’s, and died a hero – nature starts to consume the bicycle. This photo is real, not photoshoped. It’s now a popular tourist attraction on Vashon Island, in Puget Sound, Washington State.

But, the fact has since shown that the bicycle belonged to Don Puz, who in 1954 left his bicycle in the woods, and forgot about it. The most interesting thing is that, Don never went to war.

We went down there in the woods, and there was this bike in the tree, and I said, ‘That’s my bike,'” recalls Don, after the bike was discovered, making headlines.
I recognized it immediately. When I saw that bike, I recognized it, because I don’t think I’ve ever seen another one like it.

Osama Bin Laden.

The image was part of the fake images that appeared online, that claimed to show the dead body of the former Al Qaeda leader, immediately news had it that he has been killed. The plain truth here is that, the photo seen below is that of dead soldier in the film ‘Black Hawk Down;’ the soldier’s head was removed and replaced with that of Bin Laden’s.

Abraham Lincoln’s Portrait.

The photo shown above is arguably the most iconic image believed to portray the former U.S. leader. The photograph actually contains two images i.e. the head of Lincoln and the body of John Caldwell Calhoun, the seventh Vice President of the United States. Source says Lincoln had not had any iconic photographs taken by the time this image was perfected.

Politics › Suspend Police Recruitment, Senate Writes Commission by Ekakamba(op): 11:27am On Oct 10, 2016
The recruitment of 10,000 personnel into the police force has been suspended over alleged irregularity, reliable sources told Daily Trust.

The recruitment was already underway when it was discovered that the criteria set for the exercise had been jettisoned.

The Police Service Commission which is coordinating the recruitment put it on hold based on an order from the Senate Police Committee.

The committee gave the suspension order in a letter it wrote to the commission on Thursday, sources said.
Sources said the letter was also copied to President Muhammadu Buhari to draw his attention to the situation.

The president gave the order for the recruitment of 10,000 policemen over a year ago. But the exercise ran into a number of problems over the past year.

It took a series of meetings by the Senate Committee, the Police Commission and the Force Headquarters to get past the problems.

The recruitment finally took off in August but soon after, other hitches developed.
The stakeholders had agreed that the recruitment would be based on local government areas.

But sources said trouble began when the commission decided to base the exercise on equal number per state, citing orders from above.

Now, other stakeholders are demanding that the commission restrict itself to the recruitment of cadet ASPs, which is its statutory responsibility.
The said Force Headquarters should handle the enlistment of those on inspectorate cadre and below.
But when contacted yesterday, the spokesman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) Ikechukwu Ani, said the recruitment exercise had not been suspended.
He added that the exercise was still on, explaining that the officials of the commission just finished a field exercise on the recruitment process.

He also noted that the commission had been partnering with the police on the recruitment into both the constable and senior officers cadre.

They shortlisted 110, 469 applicants for police recruitment aptitude tests across the country, he said.
The Chairman of the Commission, Mike Okiro, at a recent press conference in Abuja, said applicants to write the exams included Cadet ASPs, 22,454, comprising 10,290 general duties and 12,164 specialists.

5. Next, look at the logos on the bottom of the sole. Make sure the Registered Mark (Circle R) is next to the tree logo and in the logo box below.

You also need to examine the tree logo itself to make sure it looks like the one above.

4. Next, look at the Timberland tree logo on the outside of the boot. Make sure your tree logo looks like the real one above. The fake one below has a lot of inconsistencies when compared with the real one.

(1) The circle around the "R" is a distorted circle.

(2) The tree branch does not come to a point.

(3) The line is angling down and spaces above and below are different.

3. Next, make sure there are no pulls in the stitching. If the boots are new and you see anything like the one above, assume they're fake.

2. Next, look at the stitching. It should be very consistent both with the width of the stitch, and the distance between the stitch beside it.

Also, make sure the distance between the edge of the material and the closest stitch stays consistent. Notice on the fake above, the distance varies.

1. The first thing to look for is overall quality. Feel and bend the leather, it should feel thick and somewhat rigid.
