When likely is the recruitment process be over in higher institution. I applied for two institutions Fed Poly Oko as assistance lecturer and MOUA assistant administrator.
I don't know anybody at all how possible that I will be selected.

From my experience of applying for higher institutions, whenever you don't hear from them but rumours say some have resumed, just move on. They are very disorganised just like Min. of Interior people recruitment. The process no dey close officially.

The North Central Development Commission (NCDC) wishes to inform the general public that it has not commenced any recruitment exercise, contrary to rumours suggesting that the Commission is currently employing.

Since its establishment, the appointment of its Board and Management, and their subsequent inauguration, the Commission has been in the initial phase of articulating its organizational structure, and mapping out its human and material resource needs.

As part of this process, the Commission has commenced engagements with the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, the Federal Character Commission, and other relevant government agencies to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment and obtain the necessary waivers and approvals.

It is only after these fundamental steps are completed that the Commission will formally begin the process of recruiting its workforce.

Furthermore, the Commission’s budget proposal is yet to receive final passage at the National Assembly, making any claims of ongoing recruitment entirely false.

The NCDC therefore advises members of the public to disregard any such rumours and remain vigilant against the activities of scammers and fraudsters who may attempt to defraud unsuspecting individuals through fake employment offers or online recruitment portals.

The Commission assures that when the time comes for recruitment, it will be publicly announced and conducted in line with due process, transparency, and fairness, with appropriate engagement of relevant stakeholders.

It should be genuine from your write up. Salary should be uniform across federal universities. Maybe around 200k if I remember vividly.

Definitely, it even gets more powerful with the recent NNPC oil block concession or so. MOFI manages all GOEs alongside all FG assets worldwide.

There is no act of Parliament establishing BOI categorically though. It is incorporated as a company under CAMA and it holds a banking license. BOI emerged as merger of three development finance institutions: Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (NIDB), Nigerian Bank for Commerce and Industry (NBCI) and National Economic Reconstruction Fund (NERFUND), in 2001.

of course, there was a merger and there is no act backing the modified BOI But from it's foundations, an act exists before it was modified. I guess it sometimes like NNPCL yeah?

BOI was established by law. It was formerly NIDB (which was established by act of parliament) before it was restructured to BOI and made to operate like a private company but owned by CBN and MOFI.
DBN is partly owned by Nigeria (MOFI and NSIA) , AFDB, European Investment Bank and German Development Bank. Nigeria has controlling shares though. No wonder DBN pays better than BOI 😁

All the agencies you mentioned are all Special Purpose Vehicles. Federal government call them SPV’s. Just like Asset Management Cooperation of Nigeria (AMCON). AMCON staff were once requested to choose between NDIC and CBN. However, A bill might or might not be sent to NASS to make it a law. If a bill isn’t sent, it remains SPV’s and can be dissolve by any administration pending on interest. But if it’s dissolved, the staff of the agency will be requested to choose any agency within same ministry so every staff can be reposted or they can be paid off.

@Zaramite, please lend your expertise 🙏🏽🙏🏽. The likes of credit Corp, CNG office and other initiatives by the executive arm and those government companies that are limited in liabilities. Since their establishment didn't go through NASS, it was just announced by the president. Or would they later send a bill to the house to back them up by law?
