PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS BOARD MEMBERS FOR NCC AND USPF

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has constituted the boards of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF), both agencies under the supervision of the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy.

Idris Olorunnimbe was appointed Chairman of NCC, while Dr Aminu Waida remains its Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer.

President Tinubu appointed Wada to the position in October 2023, and the Senate confirmed the appointment in November 2023.

Mr. Olorunnimbe previously served on the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) Board, where he chaired the Stakeholder and Governance Committee and drove impactful youth employment and entrepreneurship programmes.

Other members of the board are:

1. Abraham Oshidami - Executive Commissioner, Technical Services

2. Rimini Makama - Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management

3. Hajia Maryam Bayi- Former Director, Human Capital & Administration

The President also approved the Board of the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF), with Dr Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, as Chairman.

The 2 are very solid, ncc they travel a lot, network providers in Nigeria get their network from international sources so the ncc has to be involved aswell, boi is the same to, they syndicate with some international institutions to provide cash so representatives have to be present, the only thing is that you have to pray to advance in this agencies. if you have the opportunity pick any, good money comes from estacode and upfront and other condiment you will experience when you join forget salary. 😉

To educate you, what matters in confirming originality in a url apart from the extension is the second level domain (SLD). First of all, the extension here is gov.ng. Domain extensions (also known as Top Level Domain (TLD), are dedicated to governmental agencies across the world by ICAN (eg. gov.us, gov.uk, etc). No criminal can register a domain like that without having clearance from the government.

Now back to the SLD, it is the part of the url that comes directly before the extension. In this case, it is fedcivilservice as seen in the SMS. Now, if you add that with the extension, you'll agree with me that it's the legit website for FCSC.

Now to your fear about the "U", it's called path. The page is usually the final part of the URL which indicates where whoever shared the link with you wants you to go for a particular information.

Take the url as a big mansion with many rooms, say 200. Now someone said he left some money for you in one of the rooms without giving you the room number. It would be a tedious job finding the money without that single information, isn't it? That's what the path in url does. It leads you directly to where you should go without you wasting time.

When it comes to job, Connection is very important 💯 and school too no be scam as it is widely perceived.
Most of those young lecturers of mine in Uni have navigated themselves through A-list agencies.
One was contracting for this agency when he was lecturing, now he is permanently employed with them.
Know your potential and build on it….

1- CBN is ahead when it comes to overall package, but BOI is better for growth and work-life balance. I will choose BOI unless mngt level.
2- Tricky one, both cool. They are career specific with growth… if you are finance savvy & sabi book well, go for NDIC. If you like soft life NCC is the one.
3- MOFI & NSIA brothers of the same mother… career advancement 💯 OGs here said MOFI gets no mate.
4- NELFUND straight
5- Not sure Nitda is better than GBB
6- FIRS is better than Nexim bank even as of today.

what I noticed is that CBN and MOFI own most of these smaller agencies like NDIC, NISRAL, BOI, and many others. They are the largest shareholders. At the end of the day, CBN na the baba then. I noticed CBN have a very good medical package. So I think it's subsidiaries will also make use of CBN health facilities because I saw something like that in BOI, they say they have a comprehensive health insurance for staff and cover medical cases for staff all paid by the agency.

On salary level CBN fit dey poor compared to the listed, but as u progress to management level, u will strt to confirm blocs frm duties & travels. NDIC na subsidiary of CBN as well
