Either 1st choice or 2nd choice, u'll all have d opportunity of writing the PostUme but d difference is dat 2nd choice usu av very high cutoff mark compared to 1st choice, so dis will reduce d addmsn of stud dat choose them as 2nd choice. Moreso, there also a seperate list for 2nd choice but wit d help of God firstly, & money, everytin ll go smooth even beyond ur expectatn. So never say Die

Ok, we'll be waiting for feedback. But i dont expect them to start any eng program this session because they are new & even a Fed Uni of Tech. I av never seen any uni of tech dat starts eng courses immediately after thier commencemnt. They need infrastructure, professors, well equiped workshop & good instructors. Where are they gonna get the money from? F.G . Do u think FG is ready to give any sch millions of Naira? So they av to start from sciences & other faculty to get money & later raise fund tru other means e.g from goverment & private companies

Yea, for real. Sch of boys. Formally, it was 85% boys 15% girls but wit the recent introduction of the school of management Technology, Futa now have more girls unlike b4. Its now 65% boys 35% girls.

Why not, everybody has d chance of becoming a Futarian. Just do ur Post UME well, if u pass, u'll surely get addmitted as an Undergrad. Remember that many are called, few are chosen. Its up to u guys. Note that FUTA is very stressful & intresting. Dont expect to see much girls like other uni.

B's is okay. Futa usu calc ur o level grade in points. The lower ur point, the greater ur chances of been an undergrad in Futa but if its high, the lesser ur chances to be addmited. A- 1 point, B2- 2 points, B3- 3 points,, to F9 - 9 points. Just 5 science subj are choosen. Mts, Eng, Phy, Chem & either Bio or Agric.

@ ogefere, read d post well, You have to change ur course to one d science courses I mentioned above . Fupre is not running any enginern program for 08/09 session

u av a very high probability to be addmitted for AEE cos its not that highly competitive. Just do ur Post Ume well & i hope u have a lot of A's in ur O level.
@ tngtech, its okay if u choose Futa as ur 1st & 2nd choice but I hope its not an engineering course because its highly competitive.

I know it was in the brochure but they advertised in the news papper that dey'll not offer any engineering course for dis new session. Am neither an undergraduate in the sch nor a prospective student.

I dunno but it can never be conducted in sept. The post UME is always done wen sch is in session on saturday & i think that shld be july or Aug. It takes just 1- 2 wks for d result to be out. Futa does not depend on ur Jamb score only, they ll combine ur o level wit ur Post Ume score & UME score. After gettn the aggregate score, if u qualify for ur programme, u'll be admitted straight out w/o magomago. I'll advice u to study less for d post Ume cos its not that hard like jamb. The main koko is ur O level result. If u av a lot of A's, there a lot of chances dat u will be admitted, but if u got C's and E's. Na only God fit helep u o o!! Dont say I didnt tell u Futa Jambitos. Moreso, if u choose Futa as ur 2nd choice only, dont even bother to come.

Not yet. Futa is still in 2nd semester & will end the session by late august or early sept. The post Ume ll be advertised on NTA & newspapper { punch or vanguard}

@ region, Fupre is not offering any engineering program for this semester. You have to change ur course to the following science course: Chemistry, Industrial chemistry, Envromental science, Geology, Geophysics, Mathematics, computer science & physics, You better go and change ur course
