Please y'all I need a piece of advice

There's this girl I've known for two years now...when I first met her I got to know a lot about her and we became close friends,I knew her dos and don'ts and one remarkable thing she opened up to me about was a guy must woo her not less than a year,so she can examine him if he's "serious"...hmm see gbege well I WS interested in her so I had to apply for the "one year course" ...(no bashing)

After a year of patiently waiting still thinking that good things still come to those who wait..I made my move,was hushed back when she said she was in a relationship...thunder fire "friendzone" but why now??

Just recently I found out that she had a break up,so I sympathized with her and gave her time to "heal"...came back and was greeted with that behavior of indecision, I gave her an ultimatum to tell me her mind cos I have other things to do with my life and I don't try...she said she wanted to be alone

But the question is why wait for that long to give me that reply ...I mean this is wickedness and mostly Nigerian girls exhibit this awful character, I can swear I do really love and cherish her but the more she end up with the wrong guy d more hurt I become cos she'll prolly think all men are the same SMH
