eldega: my candid opinion regarding the test..............................for the graduate specialist, I guess workforce has done a wonderful job by separating individual according to their course of study and probably job functions they hope dey will be taken in uac.have seen like four diff invite with different test code like MRK0000 or AC0000. My conclusion is that MRK simply means marketing while AC stand for accounting....based on my experience, this means there might be some sort of functionality based questions in the test (according to your projected job function in uac)........some answering marketing, sales, engineering or accounting related questions (job specification/functionality).......... THIS IS JUST MY OBSERVATION AND OPINION FOR THE TEST BUT I STAND TO BE CORRECTED |
my candid opinion regarding the test.............................. |

henricson: I don't think u will be asked to prepare financial statements, cause that will be time consuming considering the number applying. Its not about you preparing financial statements...annual reports tells you everytyn u need to know about an organization..........having an indept of it is not a bad idea................. You can imagine someone asking you during the interview.............WHY DO YOU WANT TO WORK WITH US?.....................Answerin this using all the necessary infomation you deduced from their annual report can give you an upper edge cos this shows you have taken your time to know more about your potential employers business and also contributing your own quota to maintain the trend. N.B: Am not also an accountant nor studied accounting......................just saying cos there is room for people to counter what i said. |
based on my experience from picking in a basket.....have attended various interviews where I had 2 choose 4rm a basket...................the most important thing is confidence cos even when u know lack of adequate time might hinder u 4rm delivering.......some of d questions have come about are 1. active listening as the best way of communication 2. ecowas 3. climate change 4. unesco 5. nig monetary policy sum1 just need to have general knowledge of so many things |
I always see my neighbour children play in the compound during weekends and some other days. I imagined the kind of play children of nowadays do and their knowledge of Yoruba language. I remembered back in the days when i was still their age, almost every night my grandfather will sit us down with other children teaching us about our culture and some beautiful yoruba languages (Ewa Ede yoruba). Hardly you see anything like that this days.....the question to be asked is that is our culture going into extinction?......... I remembered him telling us different yoruba stories and riddles (Alo Apamo ati Alo Apagbe), those moments are beautiful cos they expose you to indept knowledge of Yoruba with all the explanations that comes with the stories. Below are some riddles which i started jotting down since yesterday and decided to share it. There is room for corrections and additions as am not a yoruba graduate nor Yoruba teacher but i felt its necessary to remind some of us about this riddles so we refresh our memory......

Dfavouredone: Bros do u just say dragnet is not a fraud.Dragnet or any other reputable recruitment agency is not a fraud...............Depending on your experience bro, always be positive......Got a job in the past through dragnet, workforce and even adexen......I know so many people that has got either one job or the other from dragnet and all these other reputable recruitment agencies can testify to this. |
faith2ogesco: dude ur story ain't easy to swallow. Its all about Gods favor sha.don't wanna b in ur shoes as at DAT tym.tanks for d enlightenment.Yeah, recruitments its all about God's favour and no be by who know book pass (Most times, those that lack the requisite knowledge get all these lucrative jobs)......had to pick positives out of all those situations and that makes me stronger......i believed in myself, never relent on my effort and never let failure of one recruitment process weigh me down in trying all over again for another, i learnt from my failures in all those recruitments and am still learning..................Today, all those moments are history. I just pray for the best for every one of us.................. |
Rich4god: So na so I dull reach... After feeling that I did pretty well in the online test... Got a regret mail... Diaris God oooyou aint dull bro |
To all those of us that got regret mails, remember its not the end of the world.......Never let the disappointment weigh u down, there are still many other options out there and what ever will be urs will definitely be urs...i was once in your shoe, wrote so many tests and interviews with both local and multinational companies...Got dropped at either one stage or the other of recruitment processes most especially getting to the final stages for GE,Cadbury,Unilever,NLNG,Shell,UBA,Diamond,KPMG,PWC,Standard chartered,Diamond and so many others i purposely erazed from my database. During all this trying period, i do encourage myself with a small poem "GOOD.... BETTER.... BEST, I SHALL NOT REST UNTILL MY GOOD IS BETTER AND BEST"......lets just keep trying harder and our Good will surely become best in no time. For some of us that got a success mail, remember its not the team that score firdt wins the match........Getting a success mail means its time to prepare really hard for the task ahead cos u never know what they want in you nor who you are competing with. Read all about recruitment processes and ask questions from those with experiences..make enquiries and get prepared for the task ahead.......I WISH ALL OF US SUCCESS IN WHATEVER WE ENGAGE IN |
